This was my first time going to coco nails. The establishment was clean, but the service was awful. I got a manicure and pedicure in celebration of my engagement. Both the manicure and pedicure were sub-par. She barely rubbed my hands and feet, and when I got home I could still see pieces of dry skin around my fingernails, which is supposed to be trimmed off. The polish on my toes looks pretty good, but my fingernails were a different story. On a few nails she didn’t even go all the way down to the cuticle, and the 2 layers of polish didn’t match up. So you could see where the second layer started. Some nails had thicker coats than others and I could see my nails under some polished nails. I didn’t notice this until I got home, which I then went back to the salon and asked them to repaint my fingers, because I paid $ 50 to get my nails done. You could tell the lady was irritated that she had to repaint my nails. The second time the polish was better, but 2 days later, the polish on almost all my nails started cracking, so they use low quality polish. I will NEVER go to Coco nails again, and I suggest you don’t either.

After learning my regular girl left my usual place, I decided to give this place a try. An older lady sat down and proceeded to use a dremmel drill to remove the gel from my toenails. On one nail, she removed my entire nail bed, so much so I could feel the air on it. She left the edge of my nails so rough they would have snagged everything. I mentioned this and was assured it would be fine. She proceeded on to the lamest massage I’ve ever had, if it lasted three minutes I would be surprised. I was told it would be fine. Due to what she did to my nail needs, I was told I would not be able to get my usual French on my toes. Then to be charged 55.00. To add insult to injury, when I went to bed last night, my feet were so rough they were snagging my sheets. I never have rough feet, I have no calluses. So disgusted.

I went with a friend to have a pedicure at this salon. They were very friendly. They did a great job. Very sanitary. Very professional. This will be my spot.

My initial visit was great, I got a gel manicure and a pedicure. There was no wait and the guy doing my nails was friendly. I’m giving this place 2 stars because after 4 days my nails began to chip and peel at the top. I called to let them know I was coming to get them fixed the next day and when I arrived the guy was reluctant to fix my nails. Don’t think I’ll be going back.

Coco nails does such a professional job and really makes me feel special with their treatment when they give me a pedicure and manicure. My mom and I go there everyother Wednesday and we always look forward to their special treatment. Everybody that I’ve ever recommended to Coco nails always returns and complements them. Thank you Coco nails from Helen and Jeanne.

I love Coco nails. My technician Julie is the best. She can do any design with a picture. I would not go to anyone else.

I have been to a few nail salons around town and have never had as many compliments as I have gotten from CoCo’s and Sonny’s great work! He always asks about my family and makes conversation, I would let no one else work on my nails but him! He and his brother have a great shop now here on the East side and worth the drive to CoCo’s, they are very professional and offer excellent service! I think the people who rated low on here go in with some expectations that they are their to entertain you, they are doing their jobs and some are not comfortable with the English language. If you want an elaborate nail design then make sure you have pictures with you and understand that they are not nail artists but do dome pretty cool designs best they can. :-) Keep up the great work guys!

I really loved this place, until I got a nasty toe infection after a pedicure. Not to be gross but there was so much pus, well ewww. Here’s the kicker, it got so bad that I needed IV antibiotics. OK so that’s pretty bad in itself. If they’re not sanitizing their instruments I just can’t be part of that anymore.

I was referred to this place because they do designs. Before I even made the appointment I specifically asked them if they could do a royal straight flush on my hand(A, K, Q, J, 10 of spades) she said yes. So, I made the appointment. I go in tonight for my appointment, and was greeted immediately. Girl at desk seemed pretty nice, but as soon as I sat down I was not impressed at all! I will NEVER go back to this place! The guy who did my nails was named Sonny. He was extremely rude! Very rough on my hands and instead of just telling me where he needed my hands, he shoved me around. At one point he even rolled his eyes. I was there for 45 minutes and I think he said a total of 2 words to me! And even then that was only because I initiated the conversation! We finally get done with my manicure and I am sent over to another station for another guy to do my design. Well, come to find out, after all this, they can not even do what I originally asked them to do! I was so pissed off! I just got up, paid and left. Didn’t even leave a tip, that’s how unsatisfied I am. I would definitely NOT recommend anyone coming here.

My favorite nail salon in Tucson. I used to live in the Foothills and would drive to the east side just to get my nails done here. The owner is super friendly and will actually talk to you unlike some places. The thing that I like most about this place is they are reasonably priced and don’t charge you extra for callus removal whereas a lot of places will charge an extra $ 5 and do an ok job. I always leave this place with baby feet. I took my male intern to this salon for a surprise and he had never gotten a pedicure in his life. If you can imagine some of the thickest calluses on a person’s feet, he had them. The lady didn’t complain, didn’t charge extra, just took a cheese grater looking object and got to work. Love it! If I’m back in Tucson I will definitely go back here for my pedi fix.
