This place was really good. For most of you who salivate over In-N out’s food, there is another place in the midst. Culver’s definitely impressed me. The burgers and fries were delicious. The texture on the food is not what you would get at your typical Wendy’s or McDonald’s. Plus they had amazing custard ice cream. It was way better than Coldstone. It is tied with In-N out and that’s saying something. Recommend it for anyone looking for a new place to eat at.

There is nothing that sucks more than coated pre made fries. You can tell they are not fresh potatoes. And when it comes to Americana burger and fries compromising the fries by pre made pre packaged crap that is coated makes in and out superior when it comes to the authenticity of the all American burger. Sorry culvers u lose that one.

Our family 2 kids age 10&7 went in for a quick bite. I had the fish but found it was a little oily given that it’s fried I knew it wasn’t «health» food so… The fish was big pieces and flaky. My husband got a double cheese burger and seemed to enjoy it. Our favorite part of the meal was the sundaes made with Culver’s custard. Next time I would order the burger. I did like the healthier options for the children’s menu. Applesauce, milk etc. instead of fries and soda.

This place was great. I had the Reuben melt and some crinkle fries. They were to die for. The diet root beer was a nice touch. Not too many places offer that. And last but not least, the chocolate shake with Reese’s cups.

Burgers are amazing! I knew they cooked it right after i ordered it because it took a little while, which is totally fine. Tasted fresh, fries and shake were awesome too! My wife and I were stuff for $ 15 so I wasn’t complaining! I would recommend trying it out!

Very disappointed! My wife wanted fried chicken and was told that it would take 15 – 20 minutes to cook, so she tried the fish meal. The fish was over cooked and oily and the bread roll was cold. Asked for another bread roll it was cold too. I tried the Deluxe butter burger there was nothing deluxe about it except lettuce on the Burger. No joke the McDouble is a better burger for a quarter of the price. Sorry but this is the last time we eat here.

Good Food. .. but rude. The food was good but the service was rude. After feeling a «I am doing you a favor by being here» attitude from the person behind the counter-I asked the person who brought me my food if they had malt vinegar(willing to go get it myself) — she blew me off and pretended not to hear me and walked away. This is when your gut instinct tells you«I know darn well she heard me» — but I just let it go and walked to the counter to inquire there. Not being a tarter sauce guy i asked if I could have a couple more than the 4 packets for 3 fish she was offering me. To which she responded to me «You know I’ll have to charge you for that». .. so I settled for 4 packs and on the way back to my seat there is a whole pile of it at the condiments I didn’t see before. I hanged my head and ate in a hurry. Before I could out of there I witnessed another customer politely asking for his tray back from an employee who had swiped it from in front of him as he was getting ketchup. He said«thank you» and she responded to him with«YEAH, HAVEFUNWITHTHAT!» full of sarcasm and not in a good way. Three separate girls, same attitude. What a hens nest! The food is maybe a little pricy for what it is, but the food is good.

I have to say, did not live up to the hype. I really wanted to like this place, very clean, friendly staff. Food was overcooked(pounded steak) and the sweet potato fries were burned for the whole family. Very negative experience for sure. All is not lost, i will retreat and regain my composure and give their custard a sample, it’s what they are known for anyways.

I have been here five times and every time was a good experience. The beef patties here are amazing and juicy. My favorite is the Wisconsin Swiss, which has a hint of mint. The custards are also delicious! I enjoy different«flavor of the day» on each visit. Customer service here is good.

Culvers is the best! The burgers are fresh, the chicken tenders are ‘real’ and there are other sandwiches when you want a little something new. The value is great, with the kids meals only 5 bucks, and after 10 you get one free. Thornydale especially has great deals, with bogo custard treats, $ 2 doubles, etc

Went to Culver’s to try their burgers, I’ve heard so many raves about them. Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t get the smash burger fad. Ours were dry dry dry. Did I mention they were dry? I guess that’s great for some but not me. Give me a juicy thick burger and I’ll be happy. Not these hockey pucks.

Hard to believe it’s «fast food». Always clean, professional, friendly service, and good food. I haven’t even tried the frozen custard yet!

Haven’t had an issue yet. The food is always good, the people are always friendly, all is well. Their frozen custard is delicious. My husband, daughter and I all share a medium mixer. Their rootbeer is good, too. I suggest getting a mixer with Oreos, Reeses chunks and brownie pieces.

Culverts is a burger joint. My husband and I finally tried Culvers and it’s just a basic fast food restaurant. We got a Ruben, a chicken sandwich, two fries and two small drinks and the Bill was just over $ 19. We could have gone to in n out. We should have gone to subway. We looked at Unilocal and don’t think it warrants 4 stars or the single $. We did not try any custard.

My fiancé and I have driven by Culver’s countless times saying«we need to try this place!!!» and finally, on Saturday, we did. The service was fast and friendly and our order came out sans problemos. We both had cheeseburgers, which were good, but just that. It was nothing that left my tastebuds screaming, «I need to come back for more!!» The fries were more of the same(and I’m a fry fanatic) so I was especially let down by the pretty bland crinkle cuts. We also split some cheese curds, which were the highlight of the meal… but I was looking forward to a killer burger and fries!!! Our consensus in the end was, if you’re looking for a fast food burger that isn’t quite«fast food» stick with In&Out or 5 Guys.

It’s fast food, it’s –not– fast food. The food comes fast and made to order fresh but the quality is better than your average fast food joint AND better than you’re average diners. Where do you start on the menu?! Start anywhere, everything is pretty nummy. I like the Wisconsin Cheddar Burger, and the regular butter burger and the fish and the chicken and the … everything. Fan favorites? Come for dinner and stay for desert. Cheese curds are a great side to share with anything on the menu and the custard will have you bringing home some for later. There is never any argument when we want to eat here as a family. The interior is clean. Great family environment. Large booths so my crew of 5 can fit great. Food comes out hot. No complaints in that department. The staff is pretty friendly. Not overly so. I do feel that some are outstanding while others are disingenuous, but for the most part nothing that has popped up on my radar of seriousness though it does knock them a star. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed. Happy eats!

Admittedly not such a fan of fast food anymore, I was actually looking forward to trying Culver’s food, especially the legendary cheese curds. Not quite up for a burger, I went with the grilled chicken sandwich. It’s definitely a quality chicken sandwich with a nice thick piece of chicken breast on a tasty bun. My only complaint is the lettuce on the sandwich. I wish they’d use large, green leaf lettuce instead of the chopped lettuce. Wait, I lied. I have another complaint. I had a nice chunk of breast bone in my mouth when I was chewing my sandwich. What the… !!! Cheese curds… what a disappointment. I was expecting something incredible since they are basically legen… wait for it… dary. Complete waste of calories, glad my dogs liked ‘em Culver’s easily redeemed itself with that creamy, delicious frozen custard. So good. I will be coming back since my lunch ladies want to meet there in the next month or two. Think I’ll stay away from those curds.

This review is for the Walleye fish special occuring over the next couple of weeks. OMG! I felt like I was back in Minnesota at my relatives house eating fresh walleye. If you are a fan of walleye(or have never tried it) you need to RUN to Culver’s and have this fish beofre the special ends!!!
