My roommate and I came in with a groupon for the breakfast biscuit, which was a ‘pizza’ like dish: one large biscuit with gravy, cheese, an egg, and tomato. It wasn’t bad and very filling. However, I think they are taking liberties with the word ‘from scratch’ as the biscuit tasted like Bisquick variety. The hash browns were a little overdone, kind of burnt. We also ordered a wildberry ‘chiller’ which was basically a smoothie. $ 4 for a small cup, plus $ 1 for ice cream seemed a little much for what turned out to be just okay. They have a $ 5 minimum for credit cards. When we said that we were ordering the small chiller so we could leave them a tip on the card(we forgot cash), explaining that we would not be meeting the minimum for that reason, the waitress suggested we get two chillers. How short were we of the minimum? $ 0.02 There was not great communication between the staff. There were two waitresses and we were the only table in the restaurant. Yet when we asked for the chiller, along with utensils and hot sauce, she disappeared to make the chiller and forgot the rest. We eventually had to flag down the second waitress so we could eat. They refilled our glasses fairly regularly, which is always a plus. Overall, there is room for improvement. I’d like to go back and give them a second chance, but I don’t know if it would be worth the drive.

Had the biscuit and gravy«pizza» and it was delicious. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The only criticism I would give is the interior needs updating and some new paint wouldn’t hurt. Would defiantly recommend.
