Incredible staff. Great under pressure, even when the lines are long. Very polite, great customer service. The food is always fresh and tastes great !

The frozen Eegee drink is fantastic. If your from out of town, give this place a try. If your from Tucson you already know about it. This place is one of the treasures of Tucson for sure.

When I realized that I had never done a review on this location, I just had to fix that. I won’t heap culinary hyperbole on eegee’s and say that it’s the filet mignon of fast food or anything like that. It’s decent, consistent and won’t drain your wallet. especially if you take advantage of their once a year coupon book offer. Take that for what it is. However, I come to this eegee’s at least once or twice a month and, unlike Scott L., have never received bad service. They’ve never gotten my order wrong. They’re always friendly and quick. That’s got to be worth something so this would be making-me-a-sandwich-fries-and-a-frozen-drink-without-messing-that-up-gets-you-three-stars review gains a fourth star.

This Eegee’s is definitely not one that I would go to often. The location is awful. I sat in the drive thru for what seemed like 15 minutes just to get a eegee’s fizz that was mostly liquid and not slushy. Now I have only been to Eegee’s a handful of times. The sandwiches are good but pretty standard. The pretzel is a frozen microwave pretzel nothing to write home about. I am assuming the slushy drink is the go to. However it tastes grainy towards the end of the drink which does not sit well with me. I’d prefer to go to 7-Eleven or find a place that serves Icee’s instead.

Fast sandwiches, good flavor, and the Eegee’s frozen drinks. Had the mango tango, and it was delicious. You cannot forget about old faithful and that lemonade though! Think subway gets a microwave toaster, and met up with 7 – 11 slushees. YES.

skimpy servings here on most of their sandwhiches, also they left out various condiments that was to be included, but weren’t big concern… it seems they changed bread suppliers because now the subrolls are both tasteless and dry… sad better subs can be had elsewhere

First time here. Great turkey sandwich pretty plain, nothing out of the ordinary. It could use more flavor such as mustard. Other than that it was good, but did not WOW me. I will come back only if there is nothimg else to eat or if i am feeling like a plain jane.

Have been to several of the locations and each one has the same high quality delicious food! We were out in California for a month, missed our favorite sandwich place, on our way back home, we stopped at the first one we came to!

Definitely good subs etc. the crowd can be kind of ghetto but it was not really an issue when I was there. It’s really nice that they have Jalepenos offered as a complimentary condiment.

Well F me running… Eegee’s has let me down. I’m still kinda shocky about it… dumbfounded, mouth agape, head involuntarily doing the«oh no you dint» shake. And yet here I am, an hour and a half later, still in a hazy disbelief about it all. I know it’s crappy fast food. But I consider Eegee’s the alpha of crappy fast food. I hold them to a higher standard. I expect crud and lackluster service from other joints. But Eegee’s? Et tu? No, you know what? I’m gonna give myself one star too, just to be fair. I could have said no… this isn’t right– this isn’t what I ordered. I’m paying money for this, make it correct. Where is your manager? But it was that first haymaker to the head. I couldn’t recover. Ugh, ugh, ugh. Obviously there was a problem at this location today. Here is the scene: I’m sitting in the drive through, about 1:45pm. I’m sure they just got done with their lunch rush(never an excuse, but I understand) and the loudspeaker voice says«hey can you give me a minute?» Yeah, sure no problem. Because I’m cool. A couple minutes later another voice comes on and asks what I want… hasty-like, borderline rude. But I’m still cool. I want a pastrami, add cheese, fries, large flavor of the month. Nothing crazy, no special request(except for the cheese). Easy peezy Holly Berry breezy. I’m one of two cars. I wait a short time and pull up to the window. The young kid reads back my order. Pastrami. Fries. Flavor of the month. I said the pastrami has cheese. He said it doesn’t. I said I ordered it. He looked at me, shrugged and said, «Sorry she has already made it.» Sorry. She. Has. Already. Made. It. (SHRUG) Sorry Mr. President, 20 nukes are already enroute to Pyongyang. Sorry, we already amputated both legs. Sorry we already cloned Dolly. You see son, some things can be reversed. Some things can’t. Throw some cheese on that pig and kiss it goodbye. But no. No no no. No cheese will be given after the sandwich artist has wrapped and microwaved. Well F me. Sorry– I already drove off.

Everybody has time for a nice cool refreshing drink especially when the temperatures reach 100°, you can never go wrong with strawberry and piña colada that’s a perfect mix. Although one of my favorite flavor of the month happens to be jungle juice, can’t beat a nice Italian grinder it’s one of the best have a cold or hot and their fries are always fresh try it with a side of ranch. Although they’re located in the Tucson Arizona area they have branched out to Cassa grand hopefully the opening Phoenix soon also, yummy yummy goodness always!

2÷14÷14 We eat at Eegee’s all over town. This particular store has become one of our favorites! Our order is always correct, filled quickly and service is friendly. I’ve been coming to this store for literally decades and hope to for decades to come!

Love this place! We always get the lemon and piña colada flavor and they are very yummy. The ranch they serve with french fries is somehow differently tasty and we love it. Employees are friendly and we would love to keep going.

Out of the handful of Eegees I have tried in town this one for some reason is the best. Every time we order our food here it comes out the same — great! The bread seems softer and fresher, the sandwiches fuller and just overall we are always happy. I live 2 minutes from the one on Grant but that one has become terrible so if I have a craving I find myself planning trips to this side of town. Service is quick and friendly too.

Had the Original Grinder combo special for $ 4.99 today. Their sandwiches just hit the spot. I normally do not like pepperoncini’s in my sandwich, but I liked theirs. I like their grinder style sandwiches. And you gotta love those crinkle-cut fries! Very satisfying lunch.

I have lived in Tucson for half my life(a loooong time) and I adore Eegee’s. Are their sandwiches out of this world fantastic? Nope. But they are GOOD, tasty and inexpensive. My fave is the original grinder… and the 5″ is less than $ 3 so how can you beat that?! They recently brought out their version of a french dip, and that’s what I’ve been getting ever since. I hope they keep it on the menu! But, what I really go to Eegee’s for is their fries! OMG! They are fried to order and they are perfect 99% of the time! You MUST(and that is an order) have their ranch dressing with the fries(no ketchup) and you will be in Eegee heaven. And thank you Eegee’s for NOT charging for extra ranch! And please don’t ever start!

Original Grinder + lemon Eegee. When I go home to Tucson I gotta stop in. Make sure to grab plenty of ranch to dip the fries in and the sandwich. Something special about their ranch formulation makes it oh so tangy and good. Don’t miss the Tucson staple.

I am a big fan of Eegees! If you’ve never been and you’re living in Tucson, or visiting, it’s a must! First of all, it is a Tucson based and locally owned. You will not get it anywhere else. SOOO, why not try it?! Ok, just a few things. An eegee is a finely slushed, ice, cold drink which comes in different flavors. These flavors changed monthly. However, if you go to the head hancho Eegees, which I believe is on the South Side, ALL the flavors are there 365 days! Exciting right?! Well it might not be for you right now, but if you love it as much as 90% of Tucsonans do, then it’s the best thing ever! If you’re in Tucson during the 90 to 110 temperatures, stop by an Eegees and cool yourself down! However, that is not the only thing they have. A big item are the ranch fries. The crinkle fries themselves are mediocre, but with the ranch dressing drenched in the crispy crinkle fries, along with scattered bacon bits, the combo is DELICIOUS. It’s a must. The sub sandwiches, are… sub sandwiches. OH, but if you get them grinder style, this just means the sandwiches will come with tomatoes, peppercini, onions, lettuce, and the italian house dressing!

UMM what? No reviews of this food mecca??? This empire of desire??? This castle of hope??? Eegees is the destination of the lost, the home of the homeless, the kitchen for the hungry. Eegees. Is. Incredible. Especially this location with their busted ass non-rotating sign, and there matching shirts; so much character. Honestly this Eegees yields the highest quality of all food it creates. You want a savory chilled dessert drink, slushy thing? How about some fries swimming in holy ranch? Come to this Eegees. Nothing beats walking in from the hot desert streets and being greeted by a very nice young person who just came in from petting a puppy in the parking lot and sitting in one of the 5 seats only to realize you are sitting next to your 3rd grade teacher. I love Eegees like I love watching umbrellas get blown inside out… More than anything.
