Our appetizer had a giant hair in it. We asked for the check as we didn’t want to eat any other food there. The waitress was apologetic but still charged us full price for the food we couldn’t eat due to their poor sanitary practices.

I don’t do 5 stars that much. However I’ve been to Elliott’s(On Congress) enough now that I must mark my spot. I’ve gone here for lunches with co-workers and I usually get the happy hour stuff– food *ahem* And the jalapeño poppers are so good. And the slider burgers! Yum! I wind up getting a wedge salad with this never-ending diet I’m on, and with big crispy chunks of salad and ranch-ish dressing with bacon bits and tomato, for $ 6! It’s happy hour in the evening I adore too. And, then when happy hour is over, it’s still fun to drink. Is it Sad Hour? No, it’s still happy hour, because anytime spent at Elliott’s is fun. The waitresses are delightful and friendly and quick on the draw. Before my drink is done, a new one magically appears. They’re efficient and happy to have you there. The food is good, the spirits fine, the ambiance is friendly, there’s some TV’s on for slight distraction and a dart board. Great place and excellent location.

I call this place my Sunday Funday spot. It always starts here and surprisingly ends here too. That’s how good it is. To begin with the mimosas here are extremely affordable with being $ 2 and if you wanted a shot of infused flavored vodka added to it(the list of flavor selection is huge) it becomes $ 3! Now I’m not sure how much liquor you may hold down but after my crazy college days of partying I can drink many under the table(not so proud of it now that I’m older). Anyways you can spend $ 20, feel really good and have a delicious breakfast entrée! The bartender and other staffs that work here are extremely nice. They have grown rapport with myself since I can get a little loud and fun at times however they love it! Carol the bartender, has always made my drinks well and welcomes me here with a great smile! Maybe I’ll catch you here one Sunday if you do so decide to check it out!

Good olé Elliot’s! If you want vodka, you are in the right spot! They have every flavor of infused vodka under the sun. Safe infusions such a orange and cherry, refreshing mint or cucumber, spicy jalapeño and rotating seasonal menus. They had awesome happy hour rates on them as well(I want to say $ 2?) I tend to enjoy their black bean burger with sweet potato fries. The burger is nicely flavored and topped with a black beans and corn ‘texas caviar’. I get it sans-cheese and bun, so no word from me on those. The sweet potato fries are waffle cut, which is great! Their beer and wine selection is standard for a sports/neighborhood bar. They host live jazz several days weekly, including Tucson’s jazz star, Tony Frank. This place has become a downtown staple!

This place has a great happy hour!!! We came here tonight for HH. It included $ 3 drinks that had their house infused vodka. Lots of choices here! My boyfriend did a Moscow mule with blueberry vodka. I did their jalapeño infused vodka as a margarita basically(one of their specialty cocktails). They have small bites for HH as well. We had the bacon rangoons and then I got the chocolate covered bacon, because I love bacon? Hehe. The rangoons were delicious. The red dipping sauce was super spicy so be careful if you’re not a fan! The chocolate covered bacon was quite interesting! I don’t think if you’re a bacon lover, you’ll like it though. I like my bacon crispy and salty and the chocolate took that away. Overall, cool vibe and interesting eats. HH runs late and it’s a good one!

The bloody Mary’s here are definitely something to brag about. Especially when they are only $ 3 during happy hour! You can choose three infused vodka flavors. I get jalapeño, roasted garlic, and cucumber infused vodkas and it is one of the best I’ve had in Tucson. The service is not always great but tonight i felt like a valued customer! The humid and tazitki platter is good, I would recommend not getting the hummus and getting Double of one of the other two dips.

Went here on a double date for my sisters birthday. This was the first visit for all of us. We were seated promptly. We were then gifted with a wonderful waitress who took great care of us. We explained that it was our first time. She was quick with great recommendation for us. I had the cucumber infused vodka, yummy! In fact it was so good I just stuck with the same drink for the night. My husband tried the raspberry vodka. He didn’t realize that it was just going to be a straight glass of vodka, but he still liked it. He also had an orange cream cycle drink that he said he could have drank all night because it was so good. My sister, who can be a little picky,(we still love her :)) basically just told the waitress what she usually likes to drink and the waitress asked the bartender to put something together for her. When my sister was given the drink it was still a little off for her(remember picky) and the waitress took it back till my sister was happy with it. To eat, we had the Parmesan fries. OMG they were good! My sister and her husband had the sliders which they said were delicious. We played darts on their old school dart board and loved that our drinks were only $ 3, what a deal! If I could change anything I would add more vegetarian options on the happy hour menu, but really that’s it. Our waitress was fantastic. She always made sure we were ok. We actually left to do some bar hoping and after a couple of stops we all said we should have just stayed at Elliott’s.

I love coming here! They have a really big table by the window that is perfect for happy hour with a crew. The space is comfortable and there is always good music on. There are great apps and happy hour specials galore. Obviously all the bacon wrapped things are amazing, but I can also report that the black bean burger is super yum. They have a decently strong beer list and deliciously creative cocktails. I have always had great service as well… so yup, I definitely dig this place!

My friend and I only had a short time downtown and decided that this was where we were eating. The drinks were cheap, but amazing, and the food was so tasty and simple. I would go back here in a heartbeat. We stayed here longer than originally planned, trying a few of the specialty infused vodka drinks, and didn’t mind missing other parts of town because of it!

This place has so much to offer… I don’t even know where to begin! For starters, they have flavored vodkas so the possibilities and drink combos are practically endless. They have happy hour every day!!! All night long on Mondays and all day long on Saturdays… Monday nights have become a favorite night of the week for me to go there or anywhere for that matter and that is because of the chill and very good JAZZ nights that they have there EVERY Monday!!! I love to keep going back here and the wait staff is amazing and glad they recognize the regulars because it really makes you feel welcome and keep coming back!

My visit to Elliott’s started as a 3 star encounter, but finished a strong 4 stars. Let me explain … I was casually greeted as I entered, which was nice, and sat at the bar. I waited for what seemed like far too long before the bartender even appeared behind the bar. As all reviews have said, their infused vodkas are what this place is about. Naturally, I had to try the Ultimate Bloody Mary at $ 3, which is an amazing price. For MY ultimate bloody mary, I chose three different infused vodkas — bacon, horseradish, and pepper. This one turned out to be decent, not great, I expected a little more pop from the horseradish and I really couldn’t detect any bacon flavor. The cool part about the whole experience is that I let the bartender know what I expected. So, on my 2nd bloody mary, she tweaked the ingredients, I asked for less ice(I don’t know about you, but I like my bloody mary’s a little chewy, if you will, not watered down), and she even gave me an extra shot of green pepper infused vodka on the side. Much better! Yes, they do have food too. I ordered from their appetizers. The chicken tenders were highly recommended by the bartender and they did not disappoint. I chose to have them«buffalo style». At $ 5.50, these chicken tenders were both tasty and priced right. I had decided on this particular Saturday to set out for downtown Tucson and find a place that I hadn’t tried before. I’m glad I settled on Elliott’s, the atmosphere is good, though not crowded on this particular Saturday afternoon. They do have TVs spread throughout the restaurant, which is great for Saturday afternoon(and Sunday) football. I can envision spending a Sunday watching football and drinking a couple(or more) Ultimate Bloody Mary’s at Elliott’s.

I visited Elliot’s with a friend last month for dinner and cocktails. We went on a Tuesday evening which meant it was Happy Hour. They offer $ 3 vodka cocktails. I had the Bloody Mary with bacon, cucumber, and jalapeño infused vodkas. I ordered the Mediterranean salmon salad and we shared a bowl of their Parmesan fries. The salad was wonderful and the fries were sinfully delicious. The waitress was fast and friendly. It is rare that I return to a restaurant for a salad but I will definitely make my way back here for this one. Elliot’s is a great addition to downtown Tucson.

Enjoyed this establishment. Nice varied menu and nice prices. We did the duck theme. Duck tacos and duck egg rolls. They were very nice. Definitely will try this place again. Should I add another star to this rating. Maybe. The place was clean and the service was good. I had no complaints. Another star may come in my next visit!

I want to give this place 5 stars for their vodka infusions but unfortunately this place is a bit lacking in other areas. I would highly recommend stopping in for a drink though. They have a whole list of vodka infusions both sweet and savory flavors. I usually get the peppercorn vodka in a Bloody Mary. I think they have the best bloody Mary’s in Tucson! I’m never disappointed with them! They also have great drink prices and even better happy hour prices! $ 3 vodka drinks for happy hour and I believe all day Saturday as well! As for food, I haven’t tried too much of their food but I absolutely love the jicama slaw! I make a point of ordering it every time I’m there. The décor is pretty interesting and they usually have the music turned pretty loud so if you are looking for a place to sit, relax and chat this may not be the best place. I’ve had a few good servers there but I’ve also had some really terrible servers. It’s a bit hit or miss.

a dark bar in the downtown area that seemed pretty laid back for a Thursday night. the highlight here is their large selection of HOUSE-infused vodka flavors! I was between the prickly pear and key lime but went with the key lime —key lime vodka with sprite: tasted like a gimlet but less sweet! i wish i took it as a shot instead of a well drink Aren’t feeling too creative? they have a list of specialty concoctions you can choose from didn’t get to try the food but the fries smelled amazing!

Frizzy izzy! You da bomb! As is the matinée martini! Mondays and Tuesdays = virtually all day happy hour. CHEAP drinks and food. Honestly… I didn’t drink myself into a stupor, because I’m classier than that. But I DID(with Steve L.), try a fair smattering of their bevvies and food. All of their vodkas are delicious, try the Bloody Mary. We had the Greek Burger(pretty good, lame bun, but the meat was good). The Duck sliders were a bit meh… the duck itself was dry and the sauces were just too sweet for me. TRYTHEJALAPENOBOATS. They are delish. Just get the smaller HAppy Hour version though(3 instead of 6⁄7) and save your arteries a bit. The bacon etc. with the tad of agave on top(not too sweet, cuts the heat). Again, I don’t know how the rest of the staff are, but Izzy was amazing and it definitely wouldn’t have been 5 stars without her!

If you like spicy drinks Get the Mexican Candy shot or cocktail! Spicy, sweet with a great after taste! If you like smoother get the coffee White Russian! Then order any of the appetizers… This place has never failed to impress me with their unique drinks and simple yet delicious foods. They are exceptionally priced and always willing to make a recommendation without any of the«you should already know attitude». Take the street car and enjoy some infused vodkas in one of the best downtown joints!

If you like a Bloody Mary you must try yours infused with jalapeño, garlic and/or peppercorn vodka. They are easily the cheapest and some of the best bloody mary’s in town. They go great paired with a side of parmesan fries.

If the throbbing speakers pounding out catchy 80s DJ mixes don’t dissuade the usual middle-aged person wintering in Tucson from entering Elliot’s, the big black, oil-rancid hole of clogged arteries — in the form of Bacon Thursdays — will. Say a big HOWDYHEY to Elliot’s on Congress, not to be mistaken for the 50-year-old Elliot, who might on a Stretcher, after partaking of a happy hour here. It might not be the first time a bar offers up bacon slices as appetizers when you sit down, but it’s the first time we’ve experienced this, because we’re out-of-town boring hillbillies who usually go gaga as soon as we hear a bag of Costco Snap Peas or Blue Corn Tortilla Chips being ripped open two houses away. Bacon as appetizers means that you a) should not be a vegetarian, and b) should not be on Lipitor. Elliot’s was having some bacon soirée, and several things on the menu had bacon. There was also a good HH menu with equally-cholesterol engorging items, such as $ 3 duck egg rolls, $ 6 duck sliders, Parmesan fries, and so on. We ordered the egg rolls, sliders with orange sauce, and fish ‘n chips, which came with a side of Parmesan fries. And, as everyone raves about the $ 3HH vodka infusions I had the cucumber infused vodka cocktail. With the exception of the Parmesan fries, which were great, everything else was just OK. The egg rolls had been pre-made and barely warm. The sliders were the same, but had a nice flavor with the orange sauce and the onion rings were a nice touch, but they were also pre-made and not freshly fried. The duck pieces were so tiny they resembled little pieces that fell out of my mouth when I talked. The fish and chips came out warm, but the batter was a little on the tough side. The coleslaw side was great, however. Even the libations were unable to perk us up, as the alcohol tasted very watered down, though the cocktails didn’t taste bad For $ 3 I didn’t expect much, but had hoped to get a buzz, instead of a buzz-kill. What saved the night was our excellent and patient server, as well as KLPX, Tucson’s Classic Rock Station, which broke the mould for all other classic rock stations by DJ-ing hit after classic rock hit, such as Michael Jackson, Rick Springfield, Bobby Brown, Soft Cell, and Anita Ward(«Ring My Bell»). After mouthing every word in Rick Springfield’s «Jessie’s Girl», we realized I had too much bacon — so we made our hasty exit. A fun place if there’s a DJ in house. And lots of bacon.

Excellent hamburger with citrus bbq sauce, good hicama cole slaw, crisp chicken with savory mustard honey sauce. I will be back.
