We’re visiting Tucson from out of town and heard of this place from locals as well as internet chatter. We ordered the grilled cheese and chicken w/waffles as our entrees both of which were delicious. The bloody Marys and biscuits to start were a great choice, but be sure not skip the crusty bread with olive oil and mozzarella. Simple concept meals, executed brilliantly with fantastic precision. Can’t give this place enough compliments on staff, plating and overall experience!

Soo impressed. It’s was my 2nd time here but my second experience exceeded my first. I remembered their mussels being okay but they must have changed their recipe at some point because it is fabulous now. Get the extra bread on the side, so worth dipping it into the broth. We had reservations but the table wasn’t leaving just yet so the owner/manager had us go next door to the bar and bought us all drinks. What a nice gesture especially for craft cocktails. This isn’t your typical vodka & cranberry kind of place if you know what i mean. They really take their time making your drink. We ordered the Oaxaca Old Fashioned, Pisco Sour and Moscow Mule — all delicious! For the food, I ordered the specialty salmon and my husband got the trout. Bo th were good. My friend got their Brussels sprouts which I though was okay. I don’t think I would order them again. I never tried their beet salad but one of my good friend claims it is the best. Their dessert menu didn’t sound very interesting so we passed. Definitely worth going for the drinks and mussels. Everything else is gravy!

Wonderful evening, great service, yummy food, and an all around relaxing place to have dinner. This was our first visit, but not our last. The greeting at the door as we arrived was welcoming. The décor was very peaceful, relaxing and inviting. What a great place to spend an evening. The service was perfect, with great explanations of the dishes, and attention when needed. The arugula salad was wonderful with a creamy goat cheese and beet addition. H had the mussels and crusty bread and then a burger with crispy fries, just like he wanted. I had the stack of grilled cheese, adding mushrooms and tomatoes. The serving would have easily served two people with a shared salad, so we have lunch for today. The Grilled Cheese was out of this world. Yummy comfort food with a twist, the spicy dipping sauce gave it a zing. When I asked to pack up the left over, the server offered extra dipping sauce!!! Way to go. Will be back, just loved this place.

First time driving in downtown Tucson. It was a bit hard to find but there was lots of street parking and a parking structure directly across the street. We had made a reservation through Open Table but when we arrived it was pretty empty so even though we checked in, they must have forgot to log us into the system(so Open Table emailed me about missing the reservation. It all got worked out in the end.) + great service + lots of variety on the menu + good drinks + beet & arugula salad with goat cheese +/-brussels & pork belly(not that memorable — there was a sweet and sour like sauce on it which was different but I wouldn’t order it again) + phyllo wrapped chicken(as delicious as advertised — thanks Unilocalers!) +/-pork chop(was okay)

Smallish menu, but they do what they have well. It’s tucked away a little on Scott street. Service is attentive, the restaurant is cozy with a nice quiet vibe. Fresh food, good flavors.

Best dirty martini… incredible burger and fries, great service, well organized … The menu seems a little limited and few gluten free options. The chicken with smashed potatoes and braise carrots were yummy. We will return. This would be 5 stars if have a few more items on menu and especially some gluten free. Loved that they had Willcox wines.

There’s NOWAY that this place is only open on the weekends for breakfast?! It kills me! Let me just say I fell in LOVE with their chicken and waffles! They best chicken and waffles I ever had! That chicken was so crisp, so tender, it melted in my mouth. I usually throw hot sauces and maple syrup all over and they had all the sauces I needed. The waiter was very polite. The beverages were great. It was a beautiful day outside so we ate in the back outdoor patio. I very much appreciate the high thick wood walls that enclose some of the area to make it more private but modern. I felt as if I was out of town somewhere. I wish I didn’t work every weekend so I can come more often. My first experience here was great. I had a fantastic first impression on them. Definitely a hidden gem in Tucson for brunch.

WOW! Everything about this place was spot on. The food, the wine, the vibe and the service. It is a bit small but extremely intimate, so definitely a good spot for a romantic dinner date night. We went with two friends. I ordered a glass of Chardonnay. I forgot the name but it was from Monterey, CA. Very smooth Chardonnay that I highly recommend. I ordered the Phyllos stuffed chicken. It’s chicken stuffed with spinach and goat cheese I believe and has a side of potatoes and sage carrots. Absolutely delicious! My boyfriend and two friends ordered the burger. Again, absolutely delicious. The red pepper aioli was an amazing addition and I used it to dip stolen fries from my boyfriends plate into. I am thoroughly impressed with the service and the whole experience I had here at 47 Scott. I will be back again very soon.

We went to 47 Scott for my oldest’s 18th birthday with his best friend and girlfriend. 47 Scott is on side street in downtown Tucson, Arizona. It is a nicely appointed small restaurant. On arriving, I needed to use the restroom and walked to the back of the space. I passed a table with four people who had joined hands and were praying over their food. I was hoping it was some strange public religious expression and that they weren’t praying their food was edible. After dining there, I can confirm that those folks apparently consider their table to be a small church and there was no need to pray about the food. It was good even without pre-meal prayer! For apps, we had the mussels and the meat and cheese tray. I didn’t have the mussels, but my son said they were fantastic, and ate every bite. The meat and cheese tray was great. It had a few meats, two cheeses(a Brie and can’t remember the other, but it was tasty), homemade pickles, chutney and bread. It was a great starter. A vegan in your group? You will be good to go! Two of us, including my son’s girlfriend, who is vegan, had the stuffed pepper. It was a huge portion and was very good. And what was it stuffed with, you ask? It had quinoa with walnuts, black beans, jalapeño, veggies and spinach purée. My wife had the pork chop. She said it was good, but a touch too salty. My son had the trout and, again, nothing was left after he inhaled it. He said it was very good. The best friend had the burger, which he gave a big thumbs up. The wine and beer my wife and I had were good too! For a nicer restaurant, the prices were reasonable for the level of food being served. I would go back, and not even be worried by people at the next table praying over their food.

I liked this place. After a long night of drinking, we decided to have one more at this charming locale. My companion knew the place and we found a small table(the place itself is very small) but we didn’t feel overly crowded in. The cocktails were great. They are a touch on the pricey side for Tucson, but it’s an upscale place with a great atmosphere and good staff, so it was worth it to me. I would go back for a quiet, relaxed drink. Digging the steampunk theme.

Excellent food and drink(probably all drinks are good, but I stuck to one — a gorgeous purple drink). I can’t remember all of the dishes I sampled, but all were very tasty(except the kimchee tacos were not as savory as I would have liked and were a little dry). I would definitely go again!

I’ve eaten at 47 Scott many times and have never had anything less than a stellar experience. The food and drinks are wonderful and service is always great. Love the remodel and new menu items. Can’t go wrong with the Phyllo Wrapped Chicken, my husband won’t order anything but the mussels. We always start with the bread and housemade mozzarella– such a deal! We just tried the mac and cheese and the Brussels and Pork Belly. Both were delicious and the presentation was wonderful. Their brunch is my favorite, though. I love eveything I’ve tried on the brunch menu. Easily one of my favorite spots in Tucson!

We went here for brunch on a Sunday. They started by explaining they were short staffed but were still very nice. All our needs were met just a bit slower. There were four at our table. Between us we had the mussels & frites, sausage hash, pulled pork hash, then finally chicken & waffles. We had the biscuits and jam for an appetizer. One had a mimosa. One had a Bloody Mary. Everything was just ok. The mussels were a bit fishy tasting(you know what I mean), the hashes had shredded potatoes instead of home style. And they were mushy potatoes. Overall a bit bland. The chicken & waffles were just average. Nothing special. The biscuits were average and the jam was watery. The Bloody Mary was watery as well. The mimosa was fine. Hard to screw up a basic mimosa. Coffee was fine. Since Tucson is full of amazing places for brunch, we won’t be back.

3.5 stars! food was okay but each dish had some flaws and was just short of execution THUS the higher prices for dinner didn’t reflect the quality —vagabond: yummy tequila cocktail! —basil collins: another refreshing cocktail —baguette w/mozzarella appetizer: crusty baguette with salted olive oil & fresh mozzarella, pretty nice & a cheap starter —phyllo chicken: thin crispy phyllo wrapped around goat cheese & chicken. the chicken was a little dry but the RICH goat cheese compensated a bit. i only enjoyed the potatoes that had been halved & then fried –stuffed pepper: the quinoa filling was tasty but the pepper really needed to be roasted longer NOTE: outdoor seating area in back that would be cute for dining in nice weather!

Remember that hotel room in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas? That’s my husband and I on «date nights», which are few and far between. Not tonight, though. We kept it classy. This swanky, crepuscular millennial enclave is located on a lesser known side street downtown. The ambience is definitely trendy, without having prices that whisper«I’m charging you a couple of extra bucks for the pleasure.» Even though we had a good ten years on the rest of the crowd, no one was eye balling us. The cocktail menu was brief but imaginative; I chose something margarita-like that was a step up from the Kirkland version that I usually make at home. I was actually most impressed by my husband’s pick, the Brick House Old Fashioned. I have no idea what was in it, but as I sipped it somehow I longed for Sterling, Don, Peggy and the rest of the crew. I tasted a hint of ginger, but my husband announced gleefully that that was the bacon washed rye. As a vegetarian, somehow it never occurred to me to check the beverage menu for meat. Anyway, the drink was interesting enough for me to question my porkless ways. My husband ordered the steak frites, after Googling the correct pronunciation — it’s not free-tays, in case you ever need to know — which he was satisfied with. I think he’s just more of a filet mignon guy. For my entrée, I devoured the mustard crusted salmon and grilled asparagus. I instantly regretted that I doused it with lemon; I don’t think it needed it. As it was, I’d still have to say that that was the best salmon filet that I’ve enjoyed in my fairly limited dining-out experience. I’ve lived in Tucson since 2002, and have only ventured downtown after sundown once, to hit up Downtown Bail Bonds… don’t ask… I’ll save that review for another time. Thanks, Unilocal, for leading us back.

Though they close at 10PM, and were hustling to serve a full house when we walked in on a Saturday night, they seated us at 9:15PM without hesitation or passive-aggressive sighing, and at no time did I sense they were quietly wishing us dead. In other words, top notch service! Happily followed by excellent dishes! Their small menu seems to abide by the«do few things, but do them well» school of thought, and its working out well indeed. I will definitely return(at a more reasonable hour, even).

I’m writing my review based on my experience during graduation weekend, which is easily one of the busiest times of the year. I can’t recommend 47 Scott enough. I reserved a table for 10 for friends and family, and the staff was very accommodating when another friend joined(11 people total). Both kitchen and wait staff worked together like a well-oiled machine. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Service was excellent! We all got drinks, appetizers, and entrees — which came out fairly quickly. All of the dishes were delicious. Our favorites were the salmon, phyllo wrapped chicken, mac and cheese, mussels, caprese salad, and kale salad. All 11 of us were very happy and satisfied. I would consider this place one of the best restaurants in Tucson. I have come here before with smaller parties, but our experience on Friday elevates 47 Scott to a new level, in my opinion.

This has been my birthday dinner request for the last couple years running. I’m a sucker for anyone who serves local and/or seasonal dishes. Not only does 47 Scott serve them, but they also serve homemade mozzarella and hand-crafted cocktails(although some of them you can only get next door at Scott & Co). I love the peaceful and private atmosphere both inside and out. I have never been disappointed by a single thing I ordered, from apps to dessert. This is my kind of place: low-key atmosphere, obsessively fresh food, knowledgeable and experienced service, and super reasonable prices for what you get. I do wish they’d change up the menu a bit more frequently… that’d get me in there more frequently!

So I absolutely fell in love with this cute little tucked away restaurant! The online reservation process was seamless. We arrived and got seated promptly, started off with some great signature cocktails I had the brickhouse neat, so tasty and a good kick. For our appetizer we had the bread with fresh mozzarella, yummy I had the phyllo wrapped chicken which was so good I know I’ll be back. Great ambiance, great service made for a great date night dinner!

This review is for brunch, but I can’t wait to come back and have dinner. Indoor and cute patio outdoor seating. Amazing bloody mary’s. I had the green chili vodka bloody mary that was soo good. My husband had one with bacon rye, which he also liked. Great service! The brunch menu is half of their regular menu and half breakfast with many options for hashes with your choice of scrambled or fried eggs. Between our table of 6, we tried the Southwestern veggie, bacon & sausage and greek. All were very good. Others also said their grilled cheese and pulled pork sandwiches were tasty.
