My experience here was horrible, and it was because of the music that they were BLASTING. I came in with my brother and our two friends on the Sunday after Christmas. It was around 9pm, and it looked like a ghost town inside the restaurant. We walked inside and heard the music. It was played out, terrible Pop/Country. It was so loud, I thought we were being Punk’d by the staff. My little brother and his friend spent $ 33(!!!) on 2 burgers, 2 fries and 2 shakes, which seems super steep to me, especially when all their add ins are«FREE!». I had to ask the difference between a small burger and a regular burger, and the person behind the counter patiently and nicely explained that it’s a single or a double patty. Why not just call it what it is?!? I hate it when burger places have gimmicky menus. Anyway, I opted for a «small burger» which was under $ 5 for everything. The patty was good, but the burger itself was nothing special. Same with the fries… Meh. But, back to the music. It had cleared out all of the other customers that came in after us. When the second terrible Christmas song came blaring on the speaker in between the stupid pop/country(remember… This was 2 days after Christmas), I asked my little brother if he would mind leaving and eating the food at his place down the street. The music was so loud, I couldn’t get used to it even though I was trying! He said«Five Guys doesn’t really taste good if you get it to go.» Ugh! That’s a red flag, too. Maybe a 1 star is a little harsh. I never asked them to turn it down, but the music was SOLOUD I figured it was intentional to get us to leave. The prices are too steep. The food was just meh. I’ll definitely take my business to In-N-Out and not this mediocre establishment that obviously doesn’t care about their customer’s experience.

It’s been a long time since a Five Guys experience but I’m glad I gave it another try, and at this location. We missed the lunchtime rush by about 15 min so received quick service. My cheeseburger totally hit the spot — I love all the toppings you can choose from! It can be as basic or as complex as you’d like. The meat was juicy and packed with flavor. Handcut fries were hot and plenty to share.

It’s a basic Five Guys. You get what you should expect. If you haven’t been here, let’s say you won’t be disappointed by how it’s been rated has the best basic cheeseburger in the country(beating McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy’s). It gives larger portions and unlimited toppings. Free unlimited peanuts.

This place is really close to my house so naturally I have eaten here quite a few times. The burgers are great, the selection for sodas, and even the free peanuts, but I cannot stand the fries here. I have never been a fan of their fries and I do not like how they just dump them in a cup and all inside your bag. The fries always taste nuked, like they were microwaved. Plus this place is expensive. 20 $ for two people is not fast food price, which this place is. Overall, it’s not like I won’t return, but I prefer Whataburger ten times over this place.

I have been to this establishment now several time, and they are better than the big Corporate places some, but the price does not justify the benefit. $ 12+ dollars for a burger and fries is just to much for fast food.

OK, Five Guys, I’ve given you four chances. What got me back were your peanuts and your fries. Your burgers didn’t. Today was the last time before we part company. I think their burgers are the most overrated of any in town. They are bland. No flavor. If it weren’t for all the toppings I put on it, the only flavor that I would get would be the bun. As a matter of fact, the predominant flavor is the bun. The last ¼ of the burger, I decided to dissect it and just eat the patty. Yep. No flavor. Nothing there that excites my taste buds. By gum, if I’m going to spend $ 7.00 on a burger, it had better be at least decent! There are better burgers in town for the same or lower price. You’ll find me there.

What is there to say? Juicy burgers piled with toppings I really enjoy. The fries I am just not a fan of. They are so soggy I die inside a little. I judge a place by how well they can make their potatoes and this place falls short. A bit overpriced for their burger size but overall it’s close enough to my place that I will keep coming.

If you like delicious burgers… then you need to go here. I’ve eaten at this place in DC, VA, Detroit and now AZ. Great burgers. Great fries. Great price. I like the one on Craycroft just a little better. Both places are friendly and fast. However, the one on Craycroft gives a military discount like the ones in the other States. Regardless, you can’t and won’t go wrong if you go to Five Guys!

Five Guys is hard to beat. We enjoy it very much. They do milkshakes now, which we will have to try next time. Always consistent. Don’t go here if you want a healthy meal though. and order your frys cajun style!

Still a fan of this place. Got a very cheesy burger, just how I like it. :) The staff is still super nice and friendly and always knows how to make their food.

I go to the Campbell location pretty regularly for lunch because I work right across the street. The staff is always really friendly, the music they play is awesome and the atmosphere is clean and bright. Their burgers are so good! I get the same thing pretty much every time I go(bacon cheeseburger with jalapeños and mayo) but even when I decide to mix it up and get something different, I’m never disappointed. I love coming here.

It’s just alright. I’d rate In-N-Out better. Monkey Burger is definitely better. The burgers are big(two pattys on a regular burger) and they are nicely juicy with crispy edges. The downsides are that the buns have the consistency of Wonder Bread. And the fries could have been crispier.

Let me settle the five guys vs in and out debate once and for all– they are DIFFERENT. And there are as many reasons to like one as there are the other but for DIFFERENT reasons. If in n out is your ideal preparation and flavor profile, chances are five guys won’t measure up and vice versa. It’s not even like comparing apples to oranges– it’s like comparing Granny Smith to red delicious– some like some and hate the other. With all of that said let’s move on and talk about the food, value, service, and atmosphere– not how it compares to every other DIFFERENT burger place in town. Clean and bright with fast service, salty and tasty food, free peanuts, and big portions. Great for exactly what it is…

I resolved to eat more veggies and less meat this year. So when my daughter begged me to bring her here for her first solid meal in days(wisdom teeth removal) I was wondering if I was going to be eating peanuts and french fries for lunch. However, I was pleased to learn that Five Guys does actually make a «veggie burger» of sorts. It’s basically a hamburger bun with cheese and burger fixings, but since Five Guys offers a boatload of fixings, they were able to hook me up with a decent sandwich. Lettuce, tomato, grilled onions and peppers, mushrooms, jalapeños, and cheese. It was no Boca burger, but it wasn’t bad, either — and given the alternative(eat nothing) I was happy. I was told they also make a grilled cheese. In terms of fast burger joints, this is our go to place. As Corey D. mentioned in his review, there’s nothing ground breaking about their beef — it’s the array of fresh, quality toppings that make it great. The french fries are some of the best I’ve had anywhere, including at more upscale restaurants. The peanuts are a fun and novel addition. They do play their music pretty loud, which can be either bad(if you’re trying to have an intimate conversation) or good(if you appreciate a little Journey or Springsteen to drown out your kids bickering). Either way, if you don’t like classic rock, you’ll probably want to take your food to go. Speaking of to go — you can place your order ahead of time online. How cool is that?

I had a great experience with Five Guys today. The restaurant has a really nice classic feel to it and the free peanuts are just too tempting. My cheeseburger and small fries were a little expensive compared to other fast food joints but I feel like I got my money’s worth because the burger and fries(and boy, were there ever a lot of fries!) were great. I didn’t leave hungry, at any rate. It would be a terrible oversight not to mention the service. Everyone was pleasant and energetic, and I had two people tell me to let them know if I needed anything, which is honestly better than I get from some waiters/waitresses. Five Guys also has a wide variety of soda, including Cherry Coke, which is great. All in all, I was very pleased.

I don’t eat red meat. I don’t eat dairy. I don’t eat gluten. I DO eat french fries.(After all, a girl needs to have SOME fun.) These are among the absolute best, and they’re gluten-free to boot! I come here just for the fries. It’s worth the special trip. Made from real potatoes, they’re nice and hearty. Rough cut, with a bit of skin, cooked in fragrant peanut oil that adds depth to the flavor. I like em’ best with a squirt of vinegar, and a side of ketchup. So my friends, get the to the nearest Five Guys for pure french fry high.

a greater selection of condiments and toppings than you’re likely to have ready to go in your home, plus nobody wants to make fresh cut french fries at home. That’s why you go out for a burger at Five Guys. Fresh, fresh, fresh. You know where the potatoes are from, with more detail than you’ll see on a sign at Whole Foods. Tasty burgers, love the fries, have to go back for a frank. phone orders for the win! How much longer till there’s an iPhone app?

I couldn’t gift Five Guys with a better compliment, review or glowing recommendation than the following tale. My husband is an east coast boy. I am a west coast girl. Our battles over west coast(the BEST coast) and east coast(the LEAST coast) at times reach Tupac-Biggie proportions. All in good fun of course(like, no one has been shot yet). That being said, maybe the only reason we are still married is because I have never once claimed that the west coast darling In-N-Out Burger is superior to the east coast beloved Five Guys Burgers and Fries. And I’ve never said such a thing because, well, it isn’t true. One of the first places my spouse dragged me to in his home state of Maryland was Five Guys — as he fondly recalled how he remembered the days(back in them there late 90s) when Five Guys was a three location operation in DC. I can see him telling this story(in his late 90s) to our grandchildren… because that’s how much he loves Five Guys. So when he found out they were opening a restaurant in Tucson, AZ he all but stalked the place until they swung wide the front doors, taking his first chance to patronize the new digs just as soon as he could — which just happened to be two hours after he’d had SURGERY. And that, friends and neighbors, is devotion. A guy that went directly from the OR at UPH to the discarded peanut shell strewn floor of Five Guys. And, my personal opinion? The Tucson version of FG burgers were even better than the ones I’d had on their precious east coast. Must be that magical west coast touch.
