This place if freakin awesome!!! I love it here and can’t wait to go back the food was amazing absolutely no complaints! And it’s definitely like a Vegas style type of bar, the inside looks TOTALLY different from the outside, there’s an upper level, and the place has coucheslove it lol!!!

A good spot if you’re in the northwest side of Tucson and need to find a place that’s got decent food and is open late. A friend and I were there this Friday night after ten at night and were initially seated in the main room where the bar is. The place had a lot of activity and with the music blaring and people yelling to one another the both of us could hardly hear each other so we moved into the room where the billiards tables were and it was a much quieter plus there were still plenty of TVs with other sports games on. I ordered a grilled turkey with black forest bacon and my friend got the pretzels. My sandwich was serviceable and nothing to write home about. The turkey was basically supermarket deli counter sandwich meat that was heat up. The black forest bacon that the menu had sounding so tantalizing ended up being something that could have been found on a burger from a fast food restaurant. Either way, I was really hungry and scarfed it down anyway. All in all, the prices are fair, the service is friendly, the food is decent and if you’re looking to watch sports or need to grab a bite to eat late at night this place is perfect.

A year ago, this would’ve been 4⁄5 stars. Lately, though, prices have gone up and neither quality nor quantity have reflected it. Service is usually excellent. I go in with a friend and we camp out for an hour or two mooching wi-fi and getting work done during happy hour. Servers are always prompt and eager to engage you, and I’ve never waited long for drinks or food after having ordered them. Draft list is decently large, but designed for a clientele that goes to a sports bar for sportsing. Being a microbrew snob isn’t exactly frowned upon, but it’s certainly not catered to here. There might be an IPA or two on draft, since the hipsters have moved on from those and the plebs are starting to drink them… The food is what’s really become disappointing. We used to go in and share an order of cheese fries… a year ago, it was one of those large oval plates that was heaped with greasy deliciousness, but now it’s this cute little tray lined with a sheet of newsprint waxed paper and filled with crunchy little fries that only absorb half the cheese grease. We used to get these pretzels with cheese [I’m not gonna lie… my friend and I usually pick this place when we’re having rough work weeks and we need to binge]… a year ago, they were 2 – 3 huge classic ballpark pretzels and a small vat of plastic cheese, but now they’re these little epi-style pullaparts with super over-baked stabby corners and some mild cheese sauce. We used to share a Cobb salad sometimes… a year ago, it was one of those huge bowls and was filled with yummy, unhealthy toppings, but now it’s one of the fancy pasta bowls with the same size rim and a tiny little divot in the middle for an appetizer-sized pile of the same crappy iceberg lettuce they’ve always had. All the other salads, as well as the sandwiches and side dishes, have also gotten smaller each time the prices have risen. It’s like the kitchen is trying to step up the presentation, but the executive chef forgot he’s a line cook in a sports bar. Our garbage binge food bill was averaging $ 30 before tip a year ago… now it’s closer to $ 50, and neither of us is leaving as satisfied as we were a year ago. In short, this place has gone from being our go-to binge food joint, to being pretty much last on the list. If I’m going to order real food, I’d rather do it in a room where the atmosphere is not dominated by television screens. During games events, you literally have to yell for your server to hear you as she leans over the table. Quit charging me $ 7 for a side of fries, F&H. YOUDON’T GETITBOTHWAYS.

My boyfriend and I came here to watch the Rousey UFC fight. We typically go to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch these things but the wait there was at least an hour for a table and we knew fox and hound probably had less people going. We showed up an hour and a half before the fight, there was still plenty of room. We each had to pay a $ 10 cover charge. The room we sat in had two projection screens showing the fight. The main, bigger one was old and dim and hard to watch. We basically just watched the smaller tvs on the walls instead. The other projector was a lot better quality but it was behind us with less room for people to watch. It took about 15 minutes for anyone to finally come around and take our drink orders. The drinks them came out soon after, and we ordered the chili con queso appetizer(at least I think that’s what it was called). It was chili cheese dip with tortilla chips. It was actually really good, and we had finished the chips before the dip so we asked our waitress, Jessica, to bring us more Chips. She never did. We waited another hour for the fight to start, and our waitress never came back to give us refills or check on us. We were ready to order and every time we tried to get the waitress’ attention she would speed past us. We timed it, we waited almost two hours(the fights were pretty far in at this point and the place was PACKED) without getting any service. We wanted to order food, and there was only one other waiter, who based on the reviews I saw below seems to have been named Chris, who was handling that room. ONLYTWOWAITERSINTHISBIGROOMWITHOVER50PEOPLE on what I believe was probably one of their busiest nights of the year. The male waiter seemed to be doing a great job, checking in on his tables frequently, laughing and even sitting with some guests, and his guests had their food pretty quickly. I understand the place was really busy but what’s upsetting is our waitress sure did check in with the group of men next to us frequently to keep bringing them food and beer and strike up conversation with them, and the other waiter was doing a perfectly fine job waiting his side of the room so it seems like the amount of guests was manageable. We got so fed up that we had to ask the male waiter to either take our order or send our waitress over to us. He sent Jessica over and she didn’t even apologize for ignoring us for 2 hours. She took our food order, which took another 25 minutes to come out. It tasted really good but it was cold by the time it got to us. The waitress told me they were out of glasses so she brought me Soda in a foam cup, which isn’t a big deal, I don’t care what I’m drinking out of but the weird part was no one else in the entire room had a foam cup… Also, my boyfriend ordered a coke refill and it tasted really flat so he asked her to get him another one, and she brought back diet. At that point we gave up and didn’t ask for anything else from the woman. But boy was she quick to pick up our check… Overall a terrible experience. My boyfriend and I are nice people, we smiled and thanked the waitress everything she came around and we don’t understand why we got such bad service as everyone around us seemed to have a good time. I probably would’ve left a better review if the girl had just apologized and made us feel like she was at least trying to get to us more frequently. Overall, the food is good but expensive, the service isn’t very good, and we probably won’t be going back.

This place is meh… So many TVs yet they couldn’t put on a game I wanted, and instead had five TVs playing some random sports documentary that you can’t hear anyway? I had to go home to watch the game I wanted and they missed out on more of my business. Not to mention, I never went back! Bottomline: So many bright TVs, staff not so bright

We went to watch PPVUFC with friends. There was a reasonable $ 10 cover charge to sit in the section showing the fight. Our server Chris was very attentive and friendly considering it was a full house. Our food was good though a little too salty. The prices seemed very reasonable. Our complaint with the experience, the main screens were old front projection televisions with dark screens. We watched the entire fight on the smaller LED television. If a bar is going to charge a cover for PPV, they should offer 21st century screens to view the event.

Visited on a Monday to watch friends play in their 9-ball pool league. The friendly atmosphere makes for a great place to play pool, watch a game or just enjoy a drink. Our bartender/server(Chris I believe) knew his regular customers by name and was attentive but not pushy. I ordered a Strawberry Blonde(strawberry rum, IPA, sour mix & strawberries) it’s sweet & refreshing and the grilled cheese & tomato soup, served on newspaper printed paper for a nice touch.

Didn’t feel too welcome at first with the host, she wasn’t very happy to be there in front of the guests. However, I absolutely love the atmosphere there! So much fun playing pool and just hanging out. My favorite thing about this place is there draft beer and burgers, oh and their sweet potatoes are to die for. So far, the food I’ve tried there are great.

Terrible service, we are here watching a UFC event, paid $ 10per person cover and have not even been waited on, we have been here for 35mins! Not enough tables etc. If you are going to charge for an event like this then get your stuff together and have better organization! Oh yeah and because we are out of state they had to check our IDs and that took them like 7minutes, Ridiculous.

Super slow service for lunch even though I looked around and there was food on any of the tables. When I did receive my lunch, I had the wrong sauce with my chicken tenders. No check back, had to hunt down server & her trainee to request proper sauce. Also had to flag down server to get check… I guess check backs are not the standard here. Oh well, good bar tho.

First time here and in town. We went to play pool until 2 for free, tried an appitizer sampler and the beer battered chicken strips are amazing. Sports playing on the big Tv’s and early 90’s music videos and music for ambiance.

This place does change menus off and on, but they still provide amazing foods and plenty of booze options. I go there off and on as well, and they always please. The IPA selection on tap are good selections and the TV’s everywhere is enough to convince anyone who loves sports to enjoy the atmosphere. Try the burgers, they are well made and good angus beef. And the waitress who took care of me was so nice and sweet! Try going on a tuesday, their slow day and they have happy hour all day and take advantage of trying most of their beer selection. Have a driver of course after all those beers. Enjoy.

This sports bar is perfect for the guys and the ladies. They’ve got huge flat screens playing sports and music videos with really good music. We ordered the bottomless chips and salsa for $ 5 and $ 2 additional for melted queso yum! The guys ordered a vanilla stout beer and I had a honey blond beer it was very good. Fun place, sweet attentive servers I had a good time, I’ll be back for sure.

Super disappointed with my experience today. They refused to turn on the sound of the NFL playoff game in the main bar area. The reason… the U of A basketball game was starting during the football game and they didn’t/couldn’t change it during the game. Make sure you check the basketball schedule before coming here to watch football.

Great sports bar! This is a great place to watch the game. Nice and large screens and a rarity in this area«great sound». We have found most places on the NW side keep the volume turned down during NFL games. This place turns it up and it is nice while looking at the game on large projection screens to be able to hear it. They usually have some great drink specials during game times. They recently changed the menu again and at the current time the food quality is good. The chicken nachos are incredible and are served on a large pan(enough for two). This is sports bar food so nothing fancy. I would not call this place kid friendly. It is a place to watch the game, have a beer, and eat while doing it

This place has changed it’s menu numerous times over the past few years. It’s now very small! I went last Thursday to take advantage of the free buffet for«allstar» members. It’s just a silly, pointless club card, which I only signed up for to get the free buffet. Anyway, I went to the buffet line and asked for an extra plate(they were handing out the plates) to get my daughter a small serving(she’s 3). They wouldn’t give me an extra plate saying it’s for people 21 and older, and 1 plate per person(the plates were tiny)! So I asked for the kids menu. The girl(I found out later was the manager) said they don’t have a kids menu. How ridiculous! They have high chairs but no kids menu! I ended up ordering a burger off the menu and shared with my daughter. I’ve also been to fox and hound late night, which is a pretty fun atmosphere. However, the pool is $ 10 an hour!!! Wayyyy over priced in my opinion. They also have hookah, but I’m not into that.

I’m here with«K. M.» I couldn’t believe that I flew from Nashville to Tucson with plans to see the football game with 30 of my closest friends only to be jerked around the way they did. We had reservations that were confirmed multiple times and we showed up to…“you’re here for what? To watch who? Where? Here?” After hearing the aftermath of what Katie has gone through, during her honeymoon no less! What a joke. I was gonna make it rain Don Julio 1942, but scratch that.

Been here a bunch of times and we have always had great servers. If you don’t have their loyalty card, get one– they email you promotions and sometimes entirely free meals or appetizers. Not too shabby. You get a free entrée during your Birthday month too. We came during happy hour and took advantage of their $ 2.25 Strongbows. Also had the French dip which is really nice. I like this place for food much better than Old Chicago and other similar bars.

Love coming here to watch UFC. They have great Happy Hour prices on drinks and food. Service is hit or miss. They serve typical pub fare but have a huge beer selection. I’ve been here too many times to count and have had great experiences and terrible ones as well. I wish they would either hire more servers or get more on the ball as wait times to put in and get orders have been pretty rough on several occasions. Overall we continue to come here because it’s still the best place for watching the games in this area since World Sports Grill closed it’s doors.

So with reading all the negative reviews about this Tavern I was quite taken back. This bar was honestly very clean, cozy and well kept. I went there with 4 friends on a Friday night and it wasn’t overly crowded like alot of bars in Tucson seem to be. The couches were very cozy and the TV’s had everything from music videos, sports to whatever you would like the waitress to change the Direct TV channel to. Our waitress was very helpful and I’d say that’s the best service I’ve ever had going to a bar. The dart games are free to play and pool you pay by the hour but there is no limit to how many people play. We stayed upstairs and it was very chill and relaxing to un-wind after a long day. On the ground floor there are more pool tables, along with tables to play chess or checkers on, and they do have a Hooka portion in the bar. So if you are looking for variety I do recommend trying the Fox and the Hound out. The drinks I ordered since I’m a nerd girl was the Incredible Hulk«bomb shooter» It was very delicious. One of my friends ordered a Jäger Bomber and they have awesome shooter glasses for those drinks that reminded me of genie’s bottle. I can understand why people say the prices are high for drinks but if you rarely go out and just have a few drinks it’s not bad. My total bill for 6 different kinds of drinks was $ 30.67. I would definitely come back to this bar. Some nights they have live bands playing! So come out of your comfort zone and sit back and relax in a different kind of atmosphere. :)
