Frontier Motel

I really wanted to like this place, really I did. It’s a cool old group of solidly built units, and the sign reads «Air Conditioned with REFRIGERATION.» But the only thing that got them a second star was how friendly and accommodating the front desk was. Accommodating for requests such as «I’d like a CLEAN set of sheets, please.» Because their housekeeping is just bad.
For a budget hotel like this I’m quick to forgive things like threadbare towels, chipped wall paint, and dented coffee tables. But their are some things, basic things, that every hotel should know how to do. Vacuum the floors. Clean the sink. Change the sheets. The very things you’re paying for when you book a hotel room.
Our floors weren’t clean. There were dead bugs on the floor and in the sink drain, and they’d been there a while. The sheets weren’t very clean, but that could have just been due to some stubborn hairs that didn’t come out in the wash … happens to me at home all the time. The TV was big, but useless: every channel was dead. The pool was closed «for renovation.» There were literally no amenities.
Oh, except the WiFi. The WiFi was really good, like 10mbps, so that’s a plus.

Worst place i ever stayed at. There were 3 cockroaches in the bathroom. Everything is super old. No electric outlets in the bathroom. Floor was clean though and bed was clean. Everything else was super old. Wouldn’t stay there again

Horrible. The room wasn’t made up when we got there, got transferred to another room that had visible debris on the floor. No toiletries, no toilet paper and the hand towel was visibly dirty from being used to clean a surface. Still, we stayed there because they’d charge the night anyway if we cancelled.
The staff acted like we were a bother to them and would have rather that we’d cancelled and left than make any attempt at making things right.

Well it’s the 3^rd year we’ve stayed for the Tucson show bc we are living out our neanderthal antics and it’s going to be the last unfortunately. The rooms haven’t been updated in about 7 years and there was water pouring from the ceiling getting the bed soaked. We do love these people but the money is not worth having your room unlocked from the door knob not getting fixed… sorry that they do not want to deal with the upkeep or repair. We will sadly be leaving this establishment for the last time.

Okay seriously this motel should be condemned. Filthy gross dirty. No towls. I was scared for my dog’s literally I laid rmy own sheet down because they have never even wash the bedding I’m talking gross disgusting filthy dirty. The craziest thing is we found a pipe wipe dirty rag in the top drawer tin foil. This beat up crack motel needs to be shut down. Oh forgot about that baking soda in the medicine cabinet can you say crack Maker… ewwwwwwwww
