Great Clips

I am typically not too picky with haircuts, but I would never take my kid here again. If you go to these lower cost hair cut places you should expect to deal with new faces with regularity. Rarely do you find the same person for more than a few visits. I would suggest steering clear of this place, especially if you have younger kids.
My son sits very well for haircuts. He is 8 and listens to all instructions. When we came in the two stylists bickered a little over who go to cut dad’s hair as they clearly didnt want to have to cut a kid’s hair. And, they shouldnt have. My son had a decent haircut at this location before, but what they did to his hair this last visit was a reflection of not just incompetence, but lack of accountability. At some point quit trying to fix it and just realize you messed it up. They processed my payment before my son had finished his haircut and i know that is because they knew that i wouldnt tip their stylist for what she did to my son. Horrible integrity, service, and I will not be returning.

I’ve gone here several times, and am usually satisfied. This past week, a woman I had never seen before cut my hair. She was positively masochistic with those clippers. She was grinding them into my skull, and then would scold me for moving my head. Then she struck up a conversation with the young man in the chair next to me, and I wondered if she was even paying attention to my hair and those deadly clippers.
I’ll probably return to that shop, but will definitely avoid that particular stylist.

We use to live by a Cost Cutters. Hated every haircut my husband ever got from there. Great Clips has never failed for a great haircut. The whole family goes here and I just can’t believe how great everyone looks after their haircut. Great people.

One star ONLY because they had A/​C. The girl checking us in took at least 4 tries to get our phone number right. She was the same person to cut my son’s hair. Throughout the haircut, she was talking about product and doing a pretty good sales pitch although her approach came off a bit pushy and actually contradictory to info provided by my own (and definitely more experienced) hair stylist. My son said she pushed really hard with the clippers and he did have some red marks. Then we were checking out, she WAY overcharged me for product and then it took 10 minutes for them to figure how to fix it while we waited. I put the product back and was about to be overcharged for the haircut too because she charged him as an adult the first time even though I told her he was 9 when we checked in. We won’t be back and anyone else should pay close attention to their receipts!

This business has done everyone in the area a disservice by letting go one of the best stylists and managers they had, Traci. She is the reason my kids lovegetting haircuts and the reason we even went there. We WILL NOT be going there anymore. This was a huge mistake.
