L A Nails

Nice people but underwhelming service. Came for a mani/​pedi, looking for a bit of relaxation. The massage was nearly non-​existent and overall service was very rushed. I will find a different place next time.

Came today for a pedicure with my mom and grandmother. The staff was accommodating and made us a reservation within the hour. The ambiance is pretty standard for this sort of nail salon, and they mentioned they had new floors. Cleanliness seemed, well, average. The tools were probably sterilized, but the spa foot tubs were cleaned with a scary sponge that looked like it was from 1994. Definitely no frills, but they did a decent job for $ 25. I’m a bit of a detail oriented gal, and I had trouble with the fact that all my toenails were cut on an angle (crooked) and the usual cuticle removing/​scraping seemed a bit abbreviated. So, 3 stars. I probably won’t be back, but I wouldn’t necessarily tell you to stay away either.

I took a friend to LA Nails for some pre Christmas pampering. Neither of us had been before but the reviews on Unilocal were positive. While my friend was getting her mani pedi done, she insisted I get a pedicure with her. Why not? Diane was the woman who took care of me. Everything about this location screams customer service. The staff are so friendly, chat with you rather than just with each other. The shop is immaculately clean. They are so attentive to details. Diane even giggled at the end asking what color I wanted my nails. The prices here are right in line with what you’d expect.
As we were finishing up, the shop got busier with clearly repeat customers. The staff greeted them by name, talked to them about family, obviously remembering details.
My friend loved her mani pedi and says this is now her nail spa of choice! It’s easy to see why.

Brian is awesome… very personable and really takes his time to ensure customer satisfaction. I was a walk in and they gladly made time for me.

Terrible service and try to rip u off. They need to update their website if they want to change the prices on you like that.

I recently moved to Oro Valley and was apprehensive about finding a new place to get my nails done. I took a chance on LA Nails. The pedicure was outstanding, with lots of massage (which I love). The staff was friendly and attentive. The shop was very clean, which is important. I will be back.

Great service! Very friendly! The best part is the long leg and foot massage when you get a pedicure!

My husband and I just finished an enjoyable Sunday afternoon here. The silence was extremely relaxing. They gave us both excellent pedi’s with really long massages. Our manicures were more of the same. We really liked their work, small conversation and the wonderful energy they gave us. We’ll be back for sure.

But, the nice thing about this nail salon is that there is an overwhelming sense of family and community. I have been to this nail salon on a number of different occasions over the past 3 years and every time I have had the opportunity to talk with the family and hear some amazing stories. The last time I was in I had a fantastic pedicure with the usual extra long massage (which I LOVE)! During my pedicure I had a long conversation with an older man– I believe this was ‘grandpa’. He told so many fascinating stories about his life and his childhood.
I am one who loves capturing experiences and appreciates community so this is definitely a great spot for me!

LA Nails is a fabulous salon. I’ve been going there evy two weeks for 18 years and have never had a problem. No fungus ever. Wonderful people. Great prices. Clean facilities. I highly recommend LA Nails.
