I’m glad the 3 star rating exists for places Iike Jersey Mikes. During my visit I experienced good service for good food at a good price. I got exactly what i expected and was neither disappointed nor overly excited. This is a place I would gladly return to again and again, hoping for better, but not being disappointed with the same as what I received my first time.

Have eaten here 2 times. Generous size sandwiches. I particularly like that they slice the meat as they make your sandwich. Real lunch meat! Not the precut stuff you get from Subway. Will definitely return.

Absolutely love this store. It’s near my house and I’m in there probably once a week. Good staff, great sandwiches. I have one question, until a few weeks ago when I paid with my debit card there was an option to leave a tip. I really liked this option as I rarely carry cash and your employees do a great job. The past few times this option was missing from the debit card check out. Is it possible to bring it back? If people don’t want to leave tips that’s fine, but having been a service worker in the past I know how important those tips can be and this was a much easier way to make sure I could show my appreciation. Thanks

Just like the Grant location of Jersey Mike’s, I’m a huge fan of the Speedway location. We actually visited the Speedway location first(because it opened first), so it’s this location that made us fall in love. Let’s start with the food. Jersey Mike’s bread is really good, and it’s the base of the sandwich. It’s got a bit of chew to it, but it’s still soft and flavorful. It holds up really well the the ridiculous amounts of oil and vinegar they put on every single sandwich. There’s one employee here that puts TONS and TONS of o/v, too! And while we’re talking about oil and vinegar… YAY that a sub shop has it! It’s no surprise that an east coast chain would, because a sub is not a sub with out O/V! I’ve been missing that here in Tucson. Italian dressing ISN’T THESAME!!! The meats and cheeses are sliced fresh to order for each customer’s sandwich, and while they’re not Boars Head quality, they are definitely leagues above the plastic-like material that Subway tries to call food. They also don’t skimp on their sandwiches. You get a pretty big and definitely filling sandwich at Jersey Mike’s! I like to get the roast beef and turkey club without bacon(I’m not a bacon fan, please don’t hurt me dear bacon-lovers of Unilocal). It’s just a tasty sub. It can get messy with the O/V, mayo, and huge pile of lettuce they put on their subs, but it’s a satisfying sandwich! I also like to get the #7, turkey and provolone, but I sub the provolone for the white American cheese, which is really cheesy and creamy. They mainly use it for their cheesesteaks because it melts so well and tastes really rich and velvety with the steak(which itself is really yummy!). I also love their wraps. You can get a regular wrap that’s kinda healthier, or you can make any of their sandwiches into a wrap. I like to get the turkey with honey mustard wrap when I’m trying to be good. The turkey has a good flavor and the honey mustard is a pretty good one, so it tastes awesome. Their tortillas are always really soft but a little chewy, just like they should be! Yum! My only complaint is that some employees don’t know how to wrap them up well, and they can get a little messy. Not a huge deal. Then there’s the employees. Like the Grant location, I love the employees at this location, too! They’re so friendly and nice every single time we walk through the doors. They treat us like they truly value us. I’ve never been to a chain restaurant that has such awesome people working across their locations. It’s a pleasure to be a regular at both of Tucson’s Jersey Mike’s locations! And the prices/atmosphere. Some people whine about the prices at Jersey Mike’s(which I find to be fairly inexpensive), but this is not Subway. They’re not serving you all«turkey-based» meat products that actually resemble wax or plastic. The food is a little bit better quality, and that’s a perfectly good reason to pay an extra $ 0.50 for a big sandwich. And like I said, the prices aren’t even high! The restaurant itself is kept up pretty well. Mostly clean tables and the bathrooms are always nice and tidy. No complaints here! Jersey Mike’s is a real win to have in Tucson!

Best sub sandwich I’ve ever had in my life! I love Jersey Mikes. You are guaranteed to have the best cut of meat, the freshest veges along with that delicious mikes special sauce. The staff are kind and the place is clean. It’s the best sandwich shop in Tucson hands down! You want a killer sub go to Jersey Mikes. Light on the oil and vinegar lol.

Very clean and sanitary; unlike the Grant Road location(see my review there, if interested.) I would give this 5 star except for the value and the in-your-face tip request. A «Giant» sub(not so big) + large drink + 10% tip was around $ 18.

I ate here twice. Both times, the sandwiches were passable but nothing special. If I didn’t have a coupon, I probably would have felt I paid too much.

Hits the spot. Awesome vinaigrette on the club sub, bread is good, service is friendly. Had a bite of my husbands chipotle cheese steak and it was fantastic. Size is good for price. Will be back and definitely recommend.

Yes, this place is all that. Five stars. Subs like I had as a kid. All natural and wonderful goodness. Made right. No Italian Sub that I’ve eaten anywhere else is better than here. And Bam! A great sub shop in Tucson.

First time to Jersey Mikes and will definitely NOT be my last. I ordered the philly and they grilled the steak and veggies in front of me. The sandwich was delicious! The ingredients were fresh and the bread was crazy. It was almost like I just got it from a baker. That is the way a subs bread should be. Total cost set me back 11.50 for meal + drink and chips. Was given a free cookie that was decadent for my first time visit. Service was great, it was either Rebecca or Rachel who helped me…(im terrible with names), but she was absolutely delightful. Very personable and kind with a nice smile. For the money I would say its worth it. If you are used to paying around the same at quiznos or subway then you shouldnt bat an eye. Jersey Mikes blows them both away anyhow in both taste and service.

Amazing service and amazing subs! The entire staff was sweet and personable. They made sure our sandwiches were perfect. The big kahuna was delicious!

Good subs– fresh meat and bread, with some vinegar and spices. It hit the spot, although I still stole some of my husband’s big kahuna. That’s a sandwich, perverts. It’s a yummy cheesteak with jalapenos, cheese, and bell peppers. So good! It was hot but not spicy which made me a happy camper. I would definitely come back and enjoy another sandwich from this place. I’m still deciding if I like this bread better than Jimmy John’s.

All I can say is WOWMIKE! I’m somewhat of a sandwich snob because I make one everyday foe lunch, so a sandwich joint has got to step it up and offer something I can’t already do at home… Well Jerseys Mikes did that and some. I got a sub«Mike’s way» and it was impressive. The olive oil and herbs were amazing, so much so that with every bite I was trying to figure out the blend. The subs are huge, enough for two meals if your not starving but I couldn’t stop eating. The bread was fluffy, which comes at a surprise since other sub spots just smash the bread. I also tried a cheese steak but I’d stick to the cold subs, Mike’s way, for some thing truly unique!

I went here a while back with my friend, it was actually the day they opened, I live exactly 2 minutes away from here and don’t even look at it much these days. The sub I got was good but, for 8 bucks plus tax and only one vegetarian friendly option on the whole menu, I think I will personally pass. As far as quality goes, it was fresh bread, and the sauce they used was oh so good! But the staff did seem a little overwhelmed by the rush of people around

I like this sub sandwich shop a lot. I have never tried a Jersey Mike’s before and was skeptical. I had four tuna sandwiches in a period of 10 days as I was working nearby. Their tuna is top notch, as I am picky about it. Mike’s way works on the Tuna as well. I did try two other sandwiches, the Club sub and the Super sub and they were very good — especially Mike’s way. I did not try the cheesesteak as a previous reviewer below complained it wasn’t a ‘Philly’. I would save that for Frankie’s. This is the best of the chain sub shops in my opinion. They have their own meats and breads and nothing is pre sliced, in fact, it’s painful to watch them drag out every meat product, slice it and return it for every sandwich, but it works.

My hubby and I decided to try this place because my go-to favorite Frankie’s was closed. I am from Philly, born and raised. Have been here for seven years. I do know a great sub or cheesesteak. Unfortunately this isn’t it. It’s like Subway on steroids. The bread is ok but definitely not anything like Amoroso’s. Plus I was expecting way more toppings but it just wasn’t happening.

Wicked good subs. I got two just in case one sucked. Both of mine were awesome. I got a sm Chicken Parm and a sm Steak & Cheese. Both brought me back to the East Coast. Heaven! You could starve in Tucson waiting for a decent sub shop. Hey can you toast it next time though bro? All you wheat bread salad loving avocado eaters should stick to Subway. Don’t know if they have fries but couldn’t take the chance. I stopped at Eegees and got some pissa fries. The staff is really cool. Although the boss shouldn’t make employes cover up tattoos. Tattoos are cool. Just saying… Cuz everywhere else in Tucson makes a Chicken Parm with salsa and cilantro or cinnamon. Freakin Yuck! Disgusting. Thank God for Jersey Mikes and Chicago Lukes. Just saying. I’m going back right now with a pal.

A delicious addition to the neighborhood. The tuna sub, «Mikes Way» is very good. The bread is appropriate for a sub and quite tasty. All toppings were fresh. I’ll be back.

Originally from Nj, I used to love Jersey Mikes subs, but once I moved away I could never find a store in the cities I lived in. So far these are the best subs in town of all the sub shops I have tried in Tucson. The meats are cut fresh to order and you get a nice size portion of meat, not like most places that skimp on the meats. Lettuce and tomato was fresh and crisp. Staff was very polite and friendly. Definitely worth trying, especially if you are from the northeast part of the US and know what a good sub should taste like.
