Breakfast is just good. Standard fare. Daily specials are a great bargain! I am a pancake junkie and the cakes here are slightly floury tasting and quite dense. Wait staff is friendly and very attentive. Overall a nice place to eat. I’m not in town long enough to try lunch or dinner menu.

We ordered trough phone today before closing and they took our order. It was good but wasnt impressed. I really didn’t like the pancakes. They had this weird taste. But everything else was good. Friendly staff.

The worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant… I found hair half way through eating my omelet… So I sent it back… The owner was extremely rude, he never said sorry, didn’t offer me a new plate… He took two dollars off for my drink… When I asked him about it, he said I did not get a discount because I finished my whole plate! What a liar! The sad thing is, we were regulars, but never again! Stay away!

Visiting Tucson first time chose Joe’s PH. Very satisfied. Service and food both excellent. No complaints whatsoever. Basic mid-range diner setting. Nothing fancy but not crude at all. Let’s say«relaxing atmosphere». Would visit again and recommend.

Great place for breakfast and very affordable. Staff is friendly and know their regulars(my family) and what they like. The crispy hash browns are excellent.

Went on a breakfast date with my daughter today as we’ve been wanting to try Joe’s. When we first walked in, 3 waitresses looked at us and didn’t say anything, no signs saying seat yourself so we stood there for a minute. Finally asked someone if it’s just sit anywhere and I think she said yes, so we did. Then it got better, had drinks and coffee right away and our waitress, Michelle, was as nice as we could’ve asked for! My daughter ordered pancakes and I got the chorizo omelet. She, being a world renowned pancake expert, said they were absolutely delicious and didn’t talk for at least 3 mins while she put a hurting on them. My omelet was pretty good, have had better, but was good. The servers were all very friendly and the place was casual which was great… we’ll be back!

Good was just«ok». Nothing different or special about their food. Could’ve gotten this at a regular diner off of a freeway. Pancakes weren’t that great either for it to be called a pancake house. If you’re hungry and need something quick that isn’t McDonald’s this is the place that’s it.

I love this little American diner! I have been here 4 times and only had one waitress who seemed I hint crabby that day. Haha. If you want to have the best waitress, ask to sit at MARY’s table. She is so sweet an kind. Tip her well people! Haha. The breakfast is very yummy and you can walk away paying under $ 4 during the week days on their specials. The specials I think start out at $ 2.50(?). Beware, It gets loud and you might need to wait for a table. I have been lucky and only once had to wait 15mins. This place is always a full house. I took my friend’s son here and our total bill was $ 8. You just can’t beat it. They do need a new toaster though. If it passes through once, it’s like dry bread. If it passes through twice, it’s burnt, lol. MISSMARY, I HOPEYOUSEETHISREVIEW. YOUARETHEBESTWAITRESSEVER. YOUAREALWAYSSOSWEET. YOUWORKSSOHARDAND I JUSTADOREYOU! THATSWHY I TIPYOUWELL. THANKYOU!

Waiting to get a flat tire fixed and spotted Joe’s. So off we went This is an All-American diner right down to the stools at the lunch counter. Very, very friendly servers. Fast delivery of food. Our server checked back frequently to make sure all was OK. My cheese omelette was done perfectly. The hash browns and homemade pancakes that came with it were very tasty. My partner had the Mexican omelette with a special salsa on it. Our server told us the chef makes that salsa fresh every day. It was wonderful. You get a big mug of coffee and a big smile when you ask for a refill. We waved good-bye when we left and everyone waved back. That’s a friendly place for you.

This place is always packed and for good reason, finally checked it out. I had one egg, bacon and English muffin. Everything was delicious coffee refills a plenty, Mom and Godmom said their dishes were great, pancakes, eggs, corn beef was all good. The staff was friendly and very prompt, and the prices were very fair and specials were cheap. Pleasant experience. Recommend!

If I could give this a year I would. Terrible service here and mediocre food. I won’t be back there again.

Had a very satisfying breakfast here with a friend. Good ingredients, prepared just right, did not taste greasy at all. Coffee sort of eh but not bad. We were happy.

Drove by hungry and stopped for breakfast. The spouse had the chorizo breakfast burrito and I had egg Benedict. + Straight to business, they were busy but had us seated under 10 minutes. + Classic breakfast items, you know what your going to get. + Hot and good but not great… I would say classic dinner breakfast/brunch. — I have a weakness for cheap restaurant coffee(don’t judge me) but this coffee was no good. — I didn’t get the«this place is fresh and clean… feeling» but not enough to stop my order. — This place gets good reviews for their egg Benedict but I didn’t enjoy the hollandaise sauce, it was salty and tasted more like a liquid deviled egg, which without all the salt may otherwise be good. In summary, equal pros and cons but worth trying for yourself, cheap and to the point.

I had the biscuit and gravy combo. This place is good not great but… good! Reminds me of a home cooked meal at a family member’s house. Our server was nice and attentive. The portions are decent and the price is inexpensive. My husband and I paid $ 14 not including tip for breakfast so it’s definitely not a bank breaker. Check them out if you’re in the area!
