I walked into Kent’s looking for a small clamp that my son could use for model-building. In this unbelievably-packed business with more tools than Ive ever seen per square-foot, the vendor was able to find the perfect clamp in seconds. Very impressive!

I walked into Kent’s after driving by several times and seeing rows of rollaway tool boxes… matco, craftsman, etc… and drooling. the first time is always the best, right? I stood there staring at the rows of planers, well-loved air hammers, oil stained hammers and grinding wheels, my mouth literally open. nirvana. the smell of machine oil… paint splattered trowels. the guy behind the counter asks if he can help me. all I can say is «no, I’m fine, first time here… just blown away…» and he says«you should see our WAREHOUSE.» anyway, quality mostly used(some new) tools, arranged nicely, with everything you could possibly need to a.) renovate your house and b.) fix up that ’54 chevy truck in your driveway. ok, everything except a tile/stone wetsaw, of which they had nada. but other than that, pretty much everything. and since I’m currently 1.) renovating a house and also 2.) getting my ’54 chevy back on the road, I love this place. drills, grinders, air chisels, lathes, welding gear, they have it. well priced with an incredibly knowledgeable staff, this place is a lil slice of heaven for those of us who still like to fix things or make things or do things for ourselves. hooray for Kent’s!
