Terrible customer service. As I was shopping I heard the store manager complaining to the other employees about the poor attitudes of customers. Initially my thought was that it probably wasn’t ideal to have this conversation in the aisle of the store but I also felt bad for her thinking someone had been unnecessarily rude to her or her staff. At the checkout I politely asked if a headset could be opened to co firm it’s comparability with my phone before purchasing. The cashier stated without a hint of a smile that I would have to buy it then she could open it per policy. When I explained that would be more work on her part because she may have to complete a return she said that was all she could do. I paid, she reluctantly opened it, it didn’t fit. I then, of course, needed to get one that did. I came directly back and there was a line of 4 people. 3 cashiers, one of whom was the complaining manager. Not one smile from the bunch. I think I know why the customers are not exactly bubbling with joy here. I will not return.

Awful customer service, no carts to put items, all the carts were full of trash or stock items. When mentioned to clerk they said yeah they knew it, no attempt to get carts. One lady had to carry s big printer box around. Five staff noticed not a one offered help. Air condition not working either. All in all a poorly managed store. Will go elsewhere from now on.

I recently purchased an HP ink cartridge from this store. I went home, put it in my printer and got a message that said«this is an incompatible product» I went back to Office Max within 7 days, with the receipt box and cartridge. The manager made me feel like I used the ink up and tried to return it. He would not even consider that he sold me an empty cartridge which is what happened. I so upset to be treated like that I had to sit in my car for a while to calm down. I called customer service twice for a number to the District Manager to be put on hold twice. I finally sent an email and of course have not been sent a reply. This is no way to treat a customer that you sold an inferior product to and am out money for.

I love coming to this location of office max. The staff is quick, efficient, and knows their products. I like to use the services center for printing needs above and beyond everyday printing. Devon is always very helpful and gives me full confidence my request will be taken care of to my standards.

Horrible customer service! We dropped off 15 boxes for express shipment, asked if we beat the cut off. Were told we got them there on time. Two days later the packages were still sitting in their shop! The manager said they called us this morning to let us know they were here, and I corrected him that I called them. Then he basically said it wasn’t his fault, as he doesn’t work in the afternoons.

Decent customer service, but this location doesn’t offer as much variety as other locations I’ve been to. Many of the shelves need to be restocked, which makes this location seem kind of empty. :( I went here for Sharpies, and half the colors on their display were out of stock. Maybe I just came on an off day. ^__^

This place is much cheaper than a lot of other big name chain stores. I have even compared some of their products to Amazon and they can definitely compete price wise. They have a FedEx department, you can get things laminated, copied, etc, etc. They usually always have some kind of deal going on with computer and printers as well. The staff here is friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend doing business here.

Kudos to my first amazing experience at Office Max! I’m not sure if they’ve stepped it up or if I got lucky that day, but Daniella in the copy center rocks! I had to do some serious copying and mailing to do and that girl got me out of that store in about 25 – 30 minutes. She was friendly, helpful and confident about her knowledge in what I needed her to do. Everything turned out perfectly and she completed my Fed Ex shipment per my request. Like I said, I’m not sure if I got lucky due to the store not being busy or if Daniella is just a superior employee. Either way, Office Max rates a 5 on this trip!
