RadioShack

I came here for black friday deals and I was impressed by their service and friendliness. I dont like radioshack in general, I ran around wasting time trying to get an item I wanted. First store ran out, 2^nd store forced me to activate a *prepaid* phone and would not sell me one without activation, which by the way was completely nonsense. Finally this store was very nice and sell me the item with no problem.

Typical Small Radio Shack. It is in a good location just not a lot of business seems to flow through it. Staff is friendly enough, but as with most Radio Shack their items are a bit over priced.

I know when I think about Radioshack I think about getting that cable that you need to make your home entertainment center work, or that cable you need to make the portable DVD player for your kids work when you were on a long road-​trip and it broke. Ok well that last part was fairly specific, and I say that this particular Radioshack has lost my current and future business, because they were not at all knowledgeable about the cable that I brought in staring at it going «I don’t know what this even is,» then when they finally believe that they have deciphered its hidden nature they point me in the direction of a cable that looks nothing like it at all, just to then turn around and say they don’t carry anything like it.
In conclusion I believe that Radioshack is now basically obsolete. If they don’t carry my cable that I need and cant find in any other store like best buy then what is the point of even going to them? I don’t even know what they sell that I could not find at a general computer or electronics store.
