Rooted Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork

I am fast becoming a regular, along with 2 other members of my family, here at Rooted with SarahRose. This place is so calming and peaceful the MOMENT you walk in, which is a great way to begin this wonderful experience. SarahRose is a master at her craft because she has the passion for truly understanding what is needed by her clients at that moment in time. During the massage, she asks if the pressure is alright and whether to continue with our discussed expectations or possibly change if she finds other ailments that arise. She has great advice on techniques for me to do at home to help the next massage be that much better and has an incredible knowledge of the workings of our amazing bodies. She is such a pleasure to be around and I HIGHLY recommend SarahRose at Rooted to anyone looking for a new massage therapist!

Maggie did an amazing job on my husband, he said it was the BEST massage he’d EVER gotten! I will definitely be scheduling a massage for myself and buying another for my husband!

I’m training for a marathon and had an appointment with Dan Desmond, who the receptionist said specializes in working with runners and distance athletes. It was a great session. He worked out my back wonderfully and was very knowledgeable… loaded me up with good advice for the rest of my training. I highly recommend a session with Dan.

Great place! Charity did a 90 min massage on me the other day, and now thanks to her my neck and my back are feeling much much better. She was able to personalize my treatment, and even asked throughout the entire 90 mins whether or not I was comfortable and whether or not the pressure was on point. She was also just super super sweet and seemed like an all around great person to be around. I left feeling loosey goosey… ready to conquer the world!

This is a cool, relaxing place to get a massage. I really liked the atmosphere of the clinic. It’s conveniently only a few blocks from me and on my way home from work. I had a massage with Charity, and it was great. She was very nice and attentive to my needs. I would go once a week if I had more money! Maybe next month I can swing another massage…

Excellent! Gave my partner a massage with Charity T. McLean, who works at Rooted, and he loved it! The facilities are very nice and tranquil: their door is a bit hard to spot, but it’s at the back side of the complex. My partner loved the massage: he said Charity was great, very responsive, and took the time to understand his needs. He liked it so much he wants to go back. Thanks Charity!

What a BEAUTIFUL space. I was looking for a massage pretty last minute on a Saturday and was able to schedule an appointment for later this afternoon. Sarah was very helpful in coordinating the time to my schedule needs.
You arrive a few minutes early to fill out some paperwork (standard pre-​massage) and my masseuse, Rebecca, met me at the door. The space itself is beautiful-​great décor. It is definitely in a building that was probably an office prior to– so less «spa» atmosphere, but the rooms definitely make up for that.
The massage itself was divine– Rebecca created a fantastic space and listened to what I would like done, as well as inquired about my past massage experiences so something negative couldn’t be repeated. I’m athletic– and found out Rebecca was as well– so I didn’t even have to explain the places I needed more work– she just did it! You could tell she was very experienced as she took the right approach to sensitive areas.
Thank you for such a great experience, Rooted! My only complaint was the price… at this time, $ 70.00 for a massage is a bit pricey, but they do have package deals where you can get more bang for your buck. Also, a bit more signage towards the road, it is tucked back in a larger building, so a bit difficult to find– completely obvious when you do find it, but if there was a big sign along the main road, it would be helpful.

I have been meaning to write this review for a long time. I have never in my life had a massage as wonderful as the one I received from Sarah, and I have had many a massage. Rooted is a place where talented therapists go to earn a living. Although it is a little hard to find, it is soooooo worth it.
