The most disgusting motel I have ever stayed in. Right when I got to my room it was dingy and dirty and there was no toilet paper or clean towels in my room. The toilet would wobble every time I sat on it, I was so afraid of it breaking on me and it would leak toilet water all over the bathroom floor. The only window in the room was broken so no fresh air or natural light. The walls/door had punched holes and some parts of the walls looked like they had decay or mold. When I was barefoot in the room the bottom of my feet turned black… so gross. To top it all off the front desk guy was very rude and there was some confusion about my stay and I got into an argument with him and he ends up calling the cops on me 2 times… don’t ever stay here unless you like being treated like a non human being and living in filth. I don’t even know how this place is still up and running because the conditions are not even sanitary or appropriate for anyone to stay in.

DISGUSTING! is an understatement when describing the motel. Bed sheets and pillow casings were stained. 70’s TV had poor reception and no remote. Shower enclosure was stained and filthy. The shower head was not functional so I had to use a cup to rinse myself from the water faucet. I booked two nights and REFUSED to stay another night. The manager refused to refund the second night. While talking to Expedia on the phone(I booked through them) about a refund, the motel manager called the police. I explained my concerns to the police, and upon seeing the room agreed with my assertions. The manager eventually agreed to refund one night. I was still upset when I returned home and contacted Expedia for a refund on both nights. Expedia couldn’t reach the manager so they provided me with a $ 50.00 voucher for future use.

This place is clean and quiet. They advertise wifi but is only available in a few rooms close to the office and i asked for it and my room the signal was too weak to use. However to be among the cheapest no nightcrawlers knocked on my door. Overall i am pleased with the price. For $ 34.00 tax and all this isn’t a bad place and i will return.

In a nutshell, Silverbell Inn might have been the most naturally disgusting place I have ever been. My stay was about a year ago and lasted a long 3 hours. That being said, those 3 hours are vivid and burned into my memory. For example, the outdoor pool listed in the amenities is something more like an outdoor puddle containing black water. I wouldn’t recommend diving. The rooms were putrid. The stains on the sheets and the walls were unbearable. I can only imagine what a black light would have done to the room. Frankly, the reason there are no reviews for the Silverbell Inn is because no one stays at the Silverbell Inn. They are either scared off by the seedy shirtless neighbors peeking through the doorways at their arrival, or by the sheer fear on contracting a Sexually Transmitted Disease by sleeping in the less then comfortable beds. If you are looking for somewhere to sleep on a low budget, I’d recommend spending the 25 dollars on a blanket and laying down at the bus stop before I’d recommend the Silverbell Inn.
