I’m increasing the stars by one because they tried to rectify the situation and were friendly and prompt about it. They offered to fix my dress, and if they couldn’t, they would pay for it. Fortunately, they were able to fix it, and it’s good as new. I had my suit jacked cleaned a second time, and it’s still pretty wrinkled(see my picture). I appreciate that they tried to make things right, but I don’t think I will return.

I dropped my wedding dress off on a sturdy hanger and in a garment bag that came with the dress. It was returned on crap wire hangers in a plastic bag. I would expect those to be returned when I pick up the dress. How would I know you’re not responsible for these items unless you tell me that? In which case I would have taken them with me rather than trusting that you would return them. New girl? Not my problem. Won’t use them again for anything.

Yikes. Shredded my shirt. Tried to tell me it was my fault(um how is that?). Then backed off when I pointed out that was ludicrous). Said she’d show It to the manager and get back to me. Two weeks later asked same imam about it. She said, oh the manager didn’t get back to me… Sigh. The shirt was old, I really just wanted an apology, but apparently not getting one. We have been customers twenty years. Going across the street now, this is the second major screw up, with total lack of response from management, despite a very polite letter written last time.

We have been taking our clothes to this very cleaners for the past 5 years or more. I had always just had a CC on file. Mine had expired recently so I was just paying as I go and this is when I realized the prices were very high compared to what I have paid when I am out of town and have my clothes laundered. When I travel to TX I pay under 2.00 per shirt, at Sparkle I am paying almost 6.00 for the same shirt. Between the broken buttons and the prices I am now going to go elsewhere. Shame on me for letting it go unnoticed for so long.

As far as Sparkle Cleaners goes, they are the best bang for the buck that I have found in Tucson. I love that as long as you drop your clothes off before 9AM, they are ready by 5PM the same day. I’ve only found one place in town that beats them on price, and it’s not a conventional location for me. My one complaint is this location has mediocre customer service. They just don’t seem happy to see you or get to know you.

So far, so good with our dry cleaning and clothing laundering at this Sparkle Cleaners. We ended up here because the Sparkle closer to our house doesn’t have a tailor on site, but this location does, so we got everything done at once. They do a perfectly fine job with the clothing. Everything is always pressed nicely and wrinkle-free. We’ve done shirts, pants, jackets, etc. and everything has come out great. It’s generally a fast in-and-out pick-up or drop-off process, which is always nice. Their regular deals(3 shirts for 5.25; 3 pants for 10.50) are pretty good, and no coupons are required. You just have to bring at least three of each in one visit to get the discount, and every shirt/pants after also has the discount applied. There seems to be one regular employee at the time of day I end up in there, and she didn’t know about the VIP discounts that Sparkle’s website advertises. I guess they don’t do a good job informing all of their employees about it, but I talked to another location and they said I can sign up the next time I’m in their store. I guess I’ll do that since this location doesn’t know about it. TIP: The parking lot can be a major pain in the ass if you park in the front. It’s a crammed lot only feet from people zooming around on Broadway. Do yourself a favor and go to the back parking lot and walk a little farther. It’s so much less hectic back there. Overall, this Sparkle Cleaners has been good to us and we’ll definitely be back.
