The guy behind the counter, I think his name was Brandon, was awesome. Clean and friendly and made a good sandwhich. But there were 2 employees, one make, one female, distracting the guy behind the counter, trying to get his opinion about lollipop choices and talking very loudly in some weird attempt for attention. This kid had braces as was struggling hard to earn the few wispy strands of pubescent chin hairs he had. He was also wearing a sleeveless t but I suppose that’s to be expected in AZ. But it was less than appetizing. Apparently there was someone else on shift but never saw him or her. Anyway those off duty employees were incredibly obnoxious. Mind you, this is Subway. Where canned olives count as eating fresh. My expectations are low.

Quick, efficient service. Malik in particular was really clean and courteous. Seemed to really know what he was doing and truly seemed to care that he did it right.

For a Subway, this one is pretty good. That staff has been super friendly every time I’ve been there. The restaurant always seems mostly clean. The food is Subway food, which isn’t to say it’s very good, but at least you know what to expect. Processed crap, but you can get yourself healthier crap than the fried crap at the McDonald’s in the same shopping center. And their sweet onion sauce is actually pretty good, and it kills the plastic-like taste of their«meats». Ok, I’m being harsh about Subway, and blowing past the point that this location is a decent Subway. And it’s in the corner of this shopping center, which is awesome, because it gets really busy and hectic in there sometimes. You can just go off to the side and be in and out of Subway in a few minutes without getting too close to the driving of the erratic locals in this little pocket of town. But if you want a good sandwich, look across the way. Just sayin’.
