The sauce is delicious! The cheese could be better quality, but overall wonderful service and delicious pizza! I love the crust!

I am very picky about my pizza, this is definitely one of the better places to order from in Tucson. Prices are good and pizza is New York style and quality. Very good place, I’ll be ordering from here again.

Amazing pizza! We ordered Blanca and it is stellar! Juicy white(no sauce) pizza with goat cheese, garlic, tomatoes and basil — delicious! We had it delivered to Tucson Hop Shop

Come on, Upper Crust. I just tried to order from you for delivery(I am so hungry) and wanted to get your specialty pizza of the month with some extra cheese on it(I was so willing to pay you for the extra cheese). The girl on the phone put me on hold and when she came back she told me I couldn’t make any changes or mods to the pizza or it would cost me the regular price of the pizza plus all the toppings. SILLINESS. Don’t be so ridiculous. I order from you often, and despite getting the wrong ingredients on my pizza sometimes I have never complained. You seem to be slipping recently though…

Very cute little pizza place on a busy corner, easy parking and once inside you’ll have pretty good service and excellent value for your money, a really big crusty slice of pizza with a soda –bring your appetite cause they’re big but really really tasty!

You know, I’ve given this place three chances, and each time I’ve been left unimpressed. For five dollars you get a piece of pie and a coke, and while it’s a decent amount of food for the price, it just isn’t a satisfying slice. Honestly, the pizza reminds me of Peter Piper. My Mom affectionately refers to it as card board pizza… try folding it in half and it’ll crack. Things don’t improve much when you taste it, either. It’s not that it’s bad per se, pizza’s pretty hard to mess up after all, but it’s definitely bland. You can do better.

Upper Crust is easily my favorite casual pizza place in Tucson. The combination of the huge yummy slices of pizza and the cheap price made it myself and a previous roommate’s go to place when we went out for a casual lunch. The slices are gigantic and it’s just an alright place to hang out and eat on a Saturday when you have nothing else to do. Also, they have a ton of different toppings to choose from and the staff has always been friendly enough to me(I see a lot contrary to that in other reviews). I’ve brought friends and family members here for lunch when they came to visit, and they all liked it too!

Upper Crust has always been one of the best pizza spots in town. Even though Upper Crust is a pizza spit I go for the meatball sub every time. Service is always friendly and fast. Priced competitively with quality fresh ingredients. Great lunch spot or pickup after a long day.

Fantastic pizza and subs. Got a $ 5 slice and the meatball sub. They were both fantastic. Meatball sandwich did not have too much sauce, but wasn’t dry at all. We ate in with our 2 kids. I had been there before the remodel and it was not so family friendly. Now they have nicer tables, 3 TVs and they even changed it to cartoons for my little guy. A great neighborhood spot!

Good, fast, delicious, well priced pizza. I have been coming here since high school. The more recent remodel is nice with AC and more space to eat inside. My little ones and I love coming to this place!

Upper Crust is your everyday, go-to in the clutch pizza joint, with a daily $ 5 slice’n drink special. I’m telling you, these slices are huge, too. I almost *only* come to UC for the daily special since it’s the perfect price/food ratio. Because pizza crust is so important, a word on upper crust’s: it’s a fluffy, graham cracker-y type. If you like your crust with some chew and some crunch(i do), you’ll appreciate the dough. Atmosphere is really cool: has the wood and metal, semi-industrial feel. Can’t beat upper crust’s slice deal anywhere in midtown.

The longer Upper Crust is around, it seems, the worst the place gets. I thought this was just my perception but the Unilocal reviews shows the exact same trend. Cheap pizza isn’t an art, as much as the staff at UCP will act, as much as an easily delivered commodity. Honestly, I don’t know where Upper Crust is even coming from with their behavior — they act like a disgusted older brother every time you talk to them. Sorry it’s a chore to take my order. Sorry it’s a chore to grab me a canned soda. Sorry it’s a chore to count exact change. Sorry it’s a chore to break a $ 20. Sorry it’s a chore to make the pizza. Sorry it’s a chore to serve the pizza on a paper plate. Sorry I have to throw away my plate in the overflowing wastebasket that is too inconvenient to empty,. Sorry Upper Crust is somehow still around.

I’ve only been here once before, but I can say that the food here is amazing! They even make their own ranch! And it tastes so goooooood! I mean, it takes a special place to make pizza reminiscent of actual New York style pizza. I frequent the Bookmans on Grant all the time, and I like to stop here for a quick bite. I will definitely be coming back here.

Favorite pizza place in Tucson. As in, whenever I miss living in Tucson, I think of this place. I think it’s that good. If I were trapped in Tucson, and I had to give up either my penis or having Upper Crust Pizza on demand for free, I’d really consider chopping my penis off.

They have huge slices! The size of a small pizza. And they don’t skimp on the toppings. Plus a Dr. Pepper option on the soda fountain and amazing ice(you know the kind I mean… it’s all crumby and chewable… yum…) It’s even better now that they’ve expanded and put in some nice big-screen tv’s. I’m really looking forward to when they add beer to the menu soon.

I have to go right in the middle on this one… 2.5 stars. I mean, the pizza was fine. The crust was a little tough even when the pizza was hot, but 3 days later the crust was almost too hard to chew… even for the dog. The fact that it was in our fridge 3 days later says something right there… leftover pizza never lasts in our house past the next day. The wings we got, which were pretty good, probably contributed to the pizza not getting eaten initially. We tried them out of sheer curiosity after driving past a couple of times. We’ll likely stick to our regular pizza place(s).

Was my place… Have called for five years for myself and my office. Called tonight, hung up on. Called again, hung up on. Called a 3rd time and was asked to hold which I did for four minutes and then hung up on. Called again and said look this is not going well, explained what happened and asked if they wanted my order. Was told no they did not. Ok Mario’s, you’re up. Upper Crust? You’re dead to me.

The 5-star rating is based on the most important factor of restaurants: the food, in this case, the pizza. Upper crust pizza has owners who really know a New York style pizza. Quite possibly the best in Tucson, hidden in a strip mall, but, a rare jewel. The portions are huge and it’s affordable, but the most important thing is that *quality is not sacrificed for quantity here.* So, so good. Try all the other places and then try Upper Crust. You won’t regret it, and, you’ll never look back!

Have you ever craved an old fashioned, no frills slice of cheese pizza? Have you ever wanted to pay for your pizza, have the people after you pay for their pizza, and watch the same girl that just handled cash WIPEHERNOSEWITHHERHAND, move a garbage can, pick up garbage from the floor, THENGOPLAYWITH A BABY, then wipe her nose again, then pick up food from the floor(again) ANDTHENWATCHHERGOTO A CHEESEPIZZA(THATHASBEENSITTINGON A COUNTERTOPFORWHOKNOWSHOWLONG) to cut YOUR slice without ever washing her hands? Do you want to pay $ 8 for it? Then run(don’t walk) to this joint. Conveniently located a block away from the UMC emergency room, it boasts an uncomfortable dining room, high school lunch lady style service and horrible parking accommodations. So visit blackjack. I Have been ordering for Pick-up since 2012! Great pizza, the crust alone is worth raving about! Ask for some ranch to dip the crust bread into. The BBQ sauce is worth the wings, may have to think of hot buffalo next time!
