Came here for lunch, some of the worst service I have ever had, the Chicago thick pizza was served with undercooked dough while everything on top was burnt to hell. The sausages were burnt to hardened discs, spinach was oily and overcooked. We started with a short rack of boneless wings that came with an order of 5 wings for over 8 dollars?! The wings were bland and tasted like frozen grocery store Tyson wings. Awful portion sizes for the prices and quality of food. Would not recommend!

What a great beer list! The pizzas were great, too. We had 4 different pizzas at our table and they were all pretty good. Service was far better than most places. They had the games on and the staff seemed happy.

This Old Chicago holds a special place to me from college days. This restaurant has a great selection of beers constantly rotating with new beers from all over coming in each week. They have lots of TV’s in the bar, fewer in the dining room, and none on the patio. The pizza is good, although I prefer Oreganos. The wings are also good, FireHouse Sauce is extremely tasty if you like hot wings. The happy hour is great! Lots and lots of items, pizza for a few bucks, wings for a few bucks, pretzels and more! I will constantly come back to this restaurant.

Great pizza and cold beer– what more can You ask for? This place is home town sweet and not some corporate cookie cutter pizza joint! Recommend the entire menu.

Not a bad experience at all. I had an Individual 7 Deep Dish(Sub Jalapeño for olive) and a pint of Rogue’s Beard Beer. Pizza was good and beer was smooth. Driven by this place many times over the years while in town on business. Glad I stopped.

I’ve been to Old Chicago a few times now since moving to Tucson. We love coming here for football games, as they always have a great selection. Servers are always quick and super friendly. Food is delicious. They have a great selection of food perfect for all types of eaters. A few days ago i would have easily given this 4 stars, but after last week I can only give three stars. Our server was super nice, although an entire tall beer spilled all over a friend and myself. The staff was fantastic about it at first, and our server assured us the manager would take care of our table when the bill came. Although, when it came time to pay nothing was amended in any way. It felt as though because we did not make an issue out of the beer being spilled we were forgotten in a way. Will I go back again? Most likely. I still enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

Running out of rotators too quickly and still don’t have one Chicago beer on tap. Hey people you have Chicago in your name! Bring Goose Island 312 back!

Yummy! Delicious«Meat Me» Calzone with a few seasonal pumpkin ales to pair it with. Great service and awesome atmosphere. I loved how many different beers they had. Definitely going back!

The services is a killer, waitresses are very kind. The double cooked wings are a little bit too salty for me, pizza is delicious but no more than a slice cause it’s pretty big.

One thing you can count on with Old Chicago is that they serve meals late so it’s a good place to go after a show or late movie. You can eat at the bar, booth or table. For sports fans, there are lots of TVs. It is often a bit noisy but not as much in the restaurant part. They have a wide selection of beers. Their menu includes a nice variety of sandwiches, entrees, salads and pizza. I like the burgers and pizza and have had the salads as well. I find the food to have a good flavor and to be a generous proportion. We’ve had good service but have generally been there late in the evening when it wasn’t as crowded. It is a better quality than most other chains and I have found food to be consistent. The happy hours are a great option with good prices but late night dining is hard to find in Tucson and this is a great go-to for that as well.

Lots of TVs, plenty of tables and stools at the bar. Service was nice but it was, as noted, slow. They did, in the spirit of full disclosure, comp my friend’s pasta because it took a very long time(ran out of pasta, it was explained). Old Chicago may be best for happy hour, just by design. There is a set of local brews on tap and a whole range beyond that. It’s honestly kind of expensive for a pint if they’re not on special, though. Appetizers are crowd-pleasers. Important: The fried pickles were very, very good and I am somewhat of a fried pickle connoisseur. The menu is every combination of carbs and cheese you can summon that’s American or Italian-American in profile. That Spaghetti Pie sounds like a monstrous, opulent way to clog my arteries.(Spaghetti with four cheeses AND Alfredo sauce formed into a pie and baked, cut into slices, topped with more cheese and sauce and served.) Mac and cheese with breadcrumbs and proteins and a sprinkling of green onions so it’s «fresh». This past visit I had a chicken panini that was basically the ingredients for their chicken mac and cheese on bread instead. It was fine — nothing to write home/on Unilocal about, though.

Always a good place for happy hour. Service is usually good, friendly, and attentive. Happy hour deals are decent(love my OC Iced Tea) and the Italian nachos are great happy hour choices. Lots of TVs and they are accommodating in that they will change the channels if you have a specific game you want to watch.

I’d had a craving for a deep dish for a Chicago-style pizza for a couple of weeks and remembered coming here about 10 years ago when I first moved to Tucson. I remembered it was pretty good, and going further back, Pizzeria Uno in Tempe(20 years ago), and Godfathers’ Pizza being great pizza. We ordered a 12″ Thai Pie and Buffalo Chicken Rolls, and they were both very good. Good enough to order again, frankly. This time around, we did take out. The Thai Pie had a boatload of toppings and ingredients that are too many to list here. The generous slices of roasted chicken, Asian sauces, and broccoli(it actually worked well) were noteworthy. It was a heavy sucker too. Just the way it’s supposed to be. The Buffalo Rolls were surprisingly(to me) plentiful(1 – 2 people, as appetizer), delicious and came with a slightly spicy variation of Bleu Cheese dressing, also plenty. What was REALLY helpful was the PDF Menu on their website with descriptions and pricing. This location has a carry-out parking space. I arrived within 5 minutes of the quoted time, was twice greeted nicely, paid about $ 30, and was on my way in 5 minutes. I’m ready to try a different Chicago-style pizza restaurant now, but would/will happily have this exact same order here again. It was perfect for one hearty(me) and one regular appetite!

when we first entered the restaurant there were no employees there to help us, I was a bit disappointed since I had come around 5:45pm and there weren’t that many customers at the time. it took about two employees to pass by and about 10 minutes later for them to actually notice us. since we had a party of over 20 they had said to give them approximately 5 minutes to set up, which we then continued to wait near the entrance. 10 minutes later another server had asked if we were helped, I had to explain to her that one of the employees was setting up our table, after saying that she had said«let me check on that and get back to you» 5 more minutes passed and a completely different hostess came out and asked if we had been helped, explaining to her what I said to the last hostess, she began and told me that our table was already setup in which she began to lead us to our table. our waitress started off taking our drink orders which went smoothly, until she started serving us. she would forget our orders, and then started rushing and would spill. which I blew off, what really killed it for me would have to be the wait for food. we had a group of us ordering all you can eat deep dish pizza, and then another group of us who ordered actual entrées. the all you can eat pizzas came out relatively fast, then there was a group of us who ordered individual pizzas or burgers which took literally around 1 – 1.5 hours, at latest we ordered around 6:45 we didn’t get out food until at least 8 and then another member of our group didn’t get his pizza until everyone was finishing up eating around 8:20 — 8:30. the service overall was terrible, the food was decent to pretty good but the wait absolutely killed it. I came in hungry, and by the time I got my food, I didn’t even want to eat it anymore. If you don’t mind waiting a long time or getting mediocre customer service then this might be the place for you I definitely had a terrible experience and don’t intend on coming back any time soon

For starters, Old Chicago is a corporate run restaurant. Always has been. So people complaining that it has«gone corporate» are very misinformed. Being corporate(but the most un-corporate place you will ever experience) keeps the beer list long and interesting, the menu adventurous and the staff friendly. Sure sometimes food can take a while, but its usually when a big game is on or the place is on a waiting list. It’s always worth the wait. Especially when you’re sampling one of their 110 beers they always have available. And their lunch specials! Their lunch specials is literally one of the best in town. An entrée, salad/soup and drink for under 10 bucks? So good. Plus Old Chicago Tucson has one of the best bartenders in the country. You need to hang out with Sherra(she usually works day shifts) who is delightful, funny and continues to win«Best Bloody Mary» in Tucson. Trust me here…

OK, whatever, Old Chicago is one of those places you go to when there aren’t many options and you want something easy. And the beer menu is pretty amazing. But here’s the thing, lately the service has been garbage. Like seriously horrible. We waited over an hour for our food(which was quick-fry menu selections that shouldn’t have taken more than 15 minutes to prepare). It was a slow weeknight, and we watched people come and go. Oh, and I couldn’t even get my beer! It’s my own fault for not bringing my ID, but I’ve never had a problem like the waitress gave me that night. I have had great experiences at Old Chicago in the past, but a handful of super disappointing ones lately have left me thinking we can take our service elsewhere

One of my fave hangouts in Tucson. As a proud member of their World Beer Tour, I like to return when I visit Tucson. We had some yummy beer samplers, the seasonal brews were good & the sampler is a deal at $ 5. The jalepeno pretzels appetizer was out of this world! Jumbo fresh pretzels served with cheesy dip. A must try! The Italian grinder pizza was a crowd pleaser also, it had lots of flavor and lots ‘o toppings! And, don’t forget to check in for $ 2 off! Woo-hoo.

Old Chicago is an old favorite! Madison took care of us this evening and did an excellent job! We have never had such an speedy and personable experience. $ 2 pub pizzas and $ 3 beers is always a crowd pleaser! Jessie is an absolute pleasure and we always look forward to her smile and service! Joseph is a great bartender who knows how to make a killer cocktail! A true alchemist! Old Chicago is the place to be for late-night eats, seemingly endless taps and killer service!

Went here for my husbands birthday on a Tuesday night. We were seated right away and that’s about the only thing that happened in a timely matter. They didn’t bring enough menus for our party said they would bring us more and never did. They apologized saying they were busy because of the game, but the place was half empty. Took along time to get everything. The only reason I gave it 3 stars was because the food was good. I had the«my spaghetti pie» which was very good. I will try them again and update my review.
