The food tasted great, but I felt that it could have been put together a little better. One side of my sub had more veggies where the other side had a huge amount of mustard.

This is similar to Jimmy John’s or any other little sandwich shop. They do have a lot of options(and quite a few for vegetarians), so you can customize it any way you’d like. I like options. And doing things my way.

Sandwiches here are edible, but the bread is pretty terrible. I would take Jimmy John’s or Silver Mine over this place any day.

I love this place. I had a turkey sandwich that I added lots of goodies to. I’m a picky eater so I love a place that let’s you pick everything that goes on your meal without making you feel like a pain. My favorite thing is the ice!!! I love that crushed ice and get so happy when I find places that have it. The service was good too. Very friendly.

The Best bread to meat ratio in Tucson! Since leaving Monterey, California where we had a deli that made monster sandwiches with fresh baked bread I have been looking for a place to fill the gap that Compagno’s left in my stomach. ‘Which Wich?’, almost does that with their italian grinder ordered with double meat skinny style, they hollow out the bread leaving more room for ingredients. They have a large variety of sandwiches, toppings, fresh vegetables, and delicious sauces. My favorite being the pesto. You fill out your order on a bag and bring it to the front this really helps keep the line moving at a reasonable pace so you aren’t waiting forever. I like to keep my bag so I can go right on up and place my order whenever I come here.

Ive had one sandwich here and i got bacon on it, and they put those bacon bits on it :/ But ive had a strawberry milkshake here as well and we were the ONLY ones in the place and i was the only one ordering so waiting 20 mins for a shake is obnoxious. We asked if they were milking the cow in the back. But boy was that THEBEST milkshake ive ever had. the ingredients were so fresh with real strawberry pieces in it. very much worth it and why this review is 4 stars.

I do like stopping in, and I think their sandwiches are pretty great! I always get the same thing — hummus with various toppings that I alter a little each time. My only two complaints? One: they’re seriously overpriced. Two: for the five or six times I’ve been there and gotten a hummus sandwich, the sandwich had come to be as a total wreck. It always looks like someone placed the bread on a counter, then stepped 20 feet away and tried to throw the hummus onto the bread. I feel like I’m licking the wrapper rather than eating a sandwich.

What a fun place! You can customize your sandwich any way you want. The big yellow cups are great for refills :) We didn’t have to wait long for our food; and there is plenty of seating available. I love that picky people can order up a plain sandwich and those with more daring tastes can select almost every imaginable condiment to compliment their sandwich. Go ahead and try it. You’ll be glad you did.

When I heard Mello-Yello was served at Which Wich? I was there within hours. I love that soft drink(it’s a Coke product) and hadn’t seen it in Arizona in over 20 years, but there it was on tap. And I gorged myself on it, each delightfully cold cup of this nectar taking me back to childhood. And then I got to the sandwiches. First, I love the ordering process. A simple brown bag that I mark what I want on from the menu. And figuring out what I want is a difficult process, so much to choose from. Shrimp, pastrami, chicken, italian, black bean, seafood, PB and J… I have made an attempt to try a different sandwich each time. I am delighted each time. Then, I get to pick what condiments I want, and if I want onions how do I want them(i.e. carmelized). They never screw up the order,. and if I found I didn’t like some of the ingredients together, it’s my own fault for picking them. So many ways to make a sandwich! The chips I believe are cooked at the store. And of course, you can drink all the Mello-Yello or any other soda you want to your heart’s content. There is indoor seating with some cool Wildcat memorabilia there and newspapers to read. Or if it’s nice outside you can gaze at pretty UA students as you munch your sammy. Which Wich is great. I only wish it was located elsewhere because I hate parking at the UA and thus I almost never go.

I’m liking Which Wich? POSITIVES: + easy ordering since you just grab a brown paper bag according to type of meat/veg sandwich you want and check off boxes for additional selections you’d like + if you get the big plastic yellow cup, you can refill drinks at ANYTIME without purchase next time(meaning you don’t have to order anything next time if you dont want to) + lots of choices for sandwich extras, condiment selections, etc NEGATIVES: — it is located on University Avenue so the parking is bad at some hours but that’s not their fault! TRIED: Chicken Pesto Sandwich, toasted — would order again! Roast Beef Sandwich with Au Jus — would not order again. wasn’t bad, just wasn’t memorable. COOL: It was cool of the worker to let me know about that free refill drinks policy. She said you can just walk in with the cup and go to full the drink yourself at the fountain. I dig free stuff… especially when I don’t have to feel all weird and cheap.

I have been here twice and both times had a great experience… Their wheat toasted bread is fantastic and their veggies fresh and crisp. I got the turkey this last time and it was excellent. I recommend a 7 inch if you are hungry(I THOUGHTTHE10INCHWASHUGEAND I WASSTARVING) and I loved their hot pepper mix… yum, spicy! I also liked the simplicity and quickness of the service. I’ll definitely be returning!

Staff is friendly and this really is a cool concept functionally; the place is even cute, bright and yellow with lunchbags decorated by previous patrons on the walls. It is really too bad the food wasn’t better. I had been here about 1 year ago previously and didn’t like it enough to want to come back. I gave it another try on customer appreciation day since you can’t go wrong with a $ 2 sub. I got the turkey sandwich meal with a cookie, while my friends both got breakfast sandwiches. The turkey sandwich which mediocre, not necessarily bad but not good either. To me, not worth it at full price when there are a plethora of amazing sandwiches to be had in Tucson. The bread was warm and toasty, but the ingredients inside just seemed bland somehow. After eating the sandwich, I was looking forward to the cookie, warm with chocolate still melty(and it was a cold Tucson day). When I got around to my cookie, it was just not good. I can’t really describe why it wasn’t good, but it is hard to mess up a cookie and it was just not good. In short: OK, but not at full price.

If you go to their website and sign up for the vibe club they’ll send you a coupon for a free regular sub(7 inches) with a drink purchase within 48 hours! This definitely persuaded me to give this place a shot. Restaurants along University Ave. are generally very pricey so I try to avoid dining here but with the coupon my meal only cost $ 1.75. I ordered their chicken sandwich on wheat with pesto, mozzarella, and tomato and it was pretty good! The flavors weren’t very defined but I love their warm toasty bread and the chicken. I thought it would be a chicken breast in between some bread but they use sliced chicken(which I prefer). All in all I enjoyed my experience and would probably return here to try out something else.

As others have mentioned, the sandwiches are good, the selection of sandwiches is fun, and the place is nice and clean. My main complaint is the actual quantity of sandwich — maybe I’m a glutton, but I’m never really satisfied when I leave. I’m still kinda hungry!

The sandwiches here are mediocre at best. It is a cool concept, you fill out a sandwich bag with what you want, you pay, your sandwich comes in your bag, you eat. However, after paying quite a substantial amount for a sandwich, I’m left feeling hungry. For the price, I cannot recommend this place. I suppose you could try it once to see if they have something for you, but they didn’t have anything for me. The milkshakes are wonderful, but again, they cost too much. If you want a milkshake, walk over to the student union, go to the cellar at the student union(underground), they are much cheaper there and probably just as good and bigger. Oh, did I mention that our club had a percentage night here and brought a substantial crowd? It took us 12 weeks to get our check, we had to haggle the manager, and he finally decided to cut us a whopping check of $ 12. We had something like 40 people eat here that night. When we asked what percentage we got, he was being a rude prick. We decided not to deal with it and left.

Solid offering for the campus crowd. Quite an impressive array of sandwich options. A strange infatuation with alum Jason Terry. Can someone explain? Incredible how much better a toasted sandwich is.

Typical college sandwich type place, hot girls doing homework, chads high fiving each other and some good sandwiches. The ordering was a little funky, but after one time doing it, I can see how it saves time for the guys taking orders. Turkey was top notch and that’s all she wrote. Grab a bag next time you’re off to class or being a creep in a college town.

Now this is a Sandwich place! Here’s the deal, you walk in see all these brown paper bags with little check marks on them and red sharpies to mark them with. What’s good is that making your perfect sandwich is rather simple and you never are caught in the middle of a big line debating if today is a spicy mustard or yellow mustard day, since well… you have all the time in the world at your little workstation to choose. Bottom line, Great concept and never ending menu makes this place one that you will soon to be a regular of.
