My boss and I decided to come here for lunch last week. It was my first time here and I really enjoyed it! The place was very clean which I enjoyed and the waitress was nice I really did like this place and the food was good as well! I really liked the fact that it was in tujunga we definitely needed something nice like this

THISPLACEIS A RIPOFF bait and switch with prices: Fries on the menu 4.95 fries on the bill 5.95 The waitress says it says on the menu prices subject to change. Two sandwiches and fries 43 dollars is robbery DA here we come. 2 people in the place 45 minutes for a pizza with no sauce. It says steakhouse but there is only veal on the menu. Terrible service, so so food. $ 60 for 2 meals and 3 beers… Not worth the time. One more chance: service was better. Tried the ‘filet mignon’ wasn’t a filet. Over cooked. Everything came out at once this time. Ridiculous 77 $ for chicken and steak. Taylor’s in La Canada is better in every way.

Mom and I had dinner there one night to check it out. We were pleasantly surprised! The table next to us ordered a pizza that looked delicious! When the garlic bread came out it was on a yummy sesame seed roll. I had chicken parm and it was so good! The marinara sauce is perfectly spiced, and fresh. The portions are worth the price. What I wasn’t thrilled with was the dinner salad. Not much to it, and a lot of black olives(I hate olives!) The second thing I thought was strange was that people got to pick where they wanted to sit. It was great when there wasn’t a lot of customers, but as the dinner time got later, people wander back and forth between the two dining rooms. I can’t imagine sitting at a table in the back and having a group standing next to you debating over which table they prefer. That would annoy me. Although that didn’t happen to me, but I observed it. After being a hostess for nearly three years at Bobby McGee’s and Red Lobster(way back in the day), this wouldn’t fly. However, our waitress was pleasant and attentive. Oh, and the cannolli was divine!!! A couple of weeks later, we ordered a meat eater’s pizza(to-go). It’s huge, and delicious! I’ve ordered again a couple of times since and will definitely continue to try new things on the menu. I can’t wait!!! I definitely recommend if you are looking for something other than kabob or burgers in Sunland/Tujunga!

Not the place to find delicious vegan options, right? So thought I… I came here recently with a friend and besides the complementary garlic bread(yeah, it might have been made with butter, I didn’t ask, just shoved piece after piece into my gullet… ok, my definition of vegan is a little loose), I devoured the eggplant parmigiana sandwich(with no cheese) because it was so good. Really good italian roll, crispy on the outside, soft inside), excellent tomato sauce, and tender eggplant. Very satisfying and I will order it again if I ever return to that part of L.A.

Best eggplant Parm around. This place is the bees knees! Servings are huge. The salad that comes with the dinner is always delicious. I always get the eggplant, but this last time I decided to try the fettuccini Alfredo and that was amazing also. Pizza is also good. We love this place!!!

Excellent food and service. Surprise to find out they are the same owners as Rock n Sushi in Van Nuys. Both highly recommended. Large portions great food!

I come here once a week and normally everything is acceptable but decided to pop in on a Sunday night and get some pasta before heading home. First of all, the beer taps either never work or they run out. Next a lot of the servers tend to have a bit of an attitude when u ask about it. Next, i asked for a tossed salad and the waitress, bar tendress brought the salad back normal without remember what kind of salad dressing i asked for. Then i asked for angel hair pasta and they served regular fettuccine. On top of that when i tried to order another beer, she was in the corner pretending to be on the register when actually stuck on her phone. Food is great but service definitely needs reassessment.

We just had the most wonderful dinner. My wife had meatballs and chicken vegetable soup, both were excellent. I had meatballs and a sausage/pepperoni pizza, and both were delicious. Our server, Caro, was outstanding and very attentive. She made sure everything was great.

The food is good, wasn’t hot like I expected, just above lukewarm, but enough to be edible. Lunch portion of spaghetti and meat sauce was very good. Garlic bread is great and goes well with the spaghetti. Service was a bit slow but accurate. Nice place for lunch off the beaten path. Would come back.

We just finally got to Caruso’s this evening and I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about them. The team work is INCREDIBLE!!! We were sat immediately at 6pm on a Saturday night and had our order taken in a timely manner. Not only was our waitress on top of it but there were 3 – 4 other waitresses making sure plates were cleared, drinks were refilled and leftovers were boxed. The leadership at this restaurant is incredible and I can’t wait to go back with my in laws! Food was fantastic!!! I’m Italian… I enjoy my Italian food. Our precious favorite was Petrillos in San Gabriel… they have been knocked off our list… Caruso’s took their spot. I have cheese tortellini with cream sauce. Great flavor!!! Hubby had chicken parm dinner… he was soooo happy with it! Brother in law had chicken Alfredo and he loved it! We tried their meatballs as an appetizer… delicious!

My husband and I had lunch here today. They now have a lunch menu and Happy Hour from 11am-6pm. We started our meal with steamed mussels in a garlic wine sauce that was delicious paired with Pellegrino. My husband ordered a big, green leafy salad and I opted for the minestrone. It looked bland, but was nice and spicy with big noodles and chunks of vegetables. By the time our entrees arrived, we could only take a couple bites before having to ask for to-go containers, we were so full. I ordered the portobello mushroom ravioli and he ordered the lasagna, which is just massive. $$, but I have yet to leave without leftovers. Quiet, clean, ample parking. This is a new favorite for me.

Had a pizza with the husband and I concur that the portions are quite large. Not a bad thing but good to know. The only thing I wasn’t too crazy about is the noise factor. Mind you we were sitting in the back portion of the restaurant and fairly close to several children that didn’t understand the concept of indoor voices. However, it’s amplified because of the flat flooring, flat walls, and flat ceiling. Oh well. Service was fine and we got our food fairly quickly after ordering. We’ll be back.

portions are huge! And weird to say but not in a good way. Is it possible for a place to give you too much food?! And their menu is kind of expensive. If they portioned their meals to a decent size maybe they could charge a not so hefty price. Walked out spending $ 80 for 2 plates, medium pizza and mozzarella sticks with 2 sodas. Let’s start with what was yummy! BEST mozzarella sticks I’ve ever had!!! Their meat tortellini with pink sauce was good. Minestrone soup was okay. The chicken parmigiana was terrible :(the chicken tasted like rubber. I literally could not eat it. I believe the plate was around $ 16 I don’t think I would come back here unless it was for their happy hour or their mozzarella sticks! Their marinara sauce is also tasty.

Wow! This place just opened and let me just say yummmmmmy! They have so much to chose from from pasta to pizza to calzones fish and veal. I went with a meat tortellini with pink sauce. The pasta was cooked aldente and amazingly stuffed, has a Cabernet to accompany my meal and it was perfect. Kim was our server and she’s just great! Very attentive and amazing little spot! Must try!!!

Let me preface this review by saying that when an establishment messes up my order or I don’t like the way something tastes, I don’t say anything. I eat the food to avoid conflict and don’t review anywhere because I give them the benefit of the doubt. My wife and I went to Caruso’s a few weeks ago. We walked in, stood at the entrance… And that’s about it. Several waiters looked at us very quickly and walked away. Eventually, a group of three ladies walked in behind us and we squished in. Then a middle-aged woman asked the people behind us how many there were in their party and then were seated. My wife and I felt like we were being profiled since we are an interracial couple so we just walked away and went to Del Taco(race could be unrelated, they could just be very rude.) I didn’t even get a chance to not send back bad food that I didn’t order. What a shame since we try to support local business. Based on our experience and other reviews, it seems like someone opened a restaurant without consulting a book, website, or even a 30 minute TV show on what NOT to do. It can all be fixed with retraining the staff on customer service. Then maybe I can sit down and try the food.
