I was treated very cruel there… I drove up and parked outside on the street finishing my smoke with my window rolled up more than half way. After about(3) puffs of finishing my smoke, I get out, go inside, order my food and eat it. I ask for a to-go box and the lady hands it over to me and the older gentleman who does the cooking walks up to me and says… «Ma’am…“The next time you come here, don’t smoke before you come in… or don’t come back at all.» …As soon as he makes that statement he turned around as not to face me and walks away. I couldn’t even apologize for myself, not that I should have anyway. I was parked on the street with my window almost rolled up well more than 20 feet from the front door of their establishment. Notice that he could have told me «before» I ordered and ate my food. But, he let me order my food and eat it first before putting my head in the toaster! I guess he wanted to make sure he got his $ 12.00 bucks and change for my breakfast, first. Obviously, if you smoke cigarettes as I do, you are not welcome there. It would have been nice if he would have told me that 20 years ago. But, then again you wouldn’t if you are a passive, psychopathic mean person.

Just stopped by after a long day of work im starving and in a good mood, the days almost over. I come in here expecting good customer service from the reviews and sadly the old man at the register treated my co workers and I like crap, gave us attitude and refused to give thousand island sauce because i didnt have cash. Thanks for the shitty service, we wont be coming back ever

The food is good, but not enough to deal with the old lady in the front that has the Shittiest attitude and rudeness!

I had never eaten here being a local, it makes me really sad I didn’t experience this food earlier. Easily my favorite burger, I crave them. Onion rings and fries are super addictive. Even their breakfast is delicious. I love this place!

I’ve been coming here since I was 13 and it’s always been my go-to spot when I want a quick meal or a grilled cheese sandwich, yummy! The food is always made when and to perfection. I’ve never had a unpleasant meal. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is simply that the owners are the ones who work the front and they can be quite grumpy at times. I happen to believe they’re just elderly grumpy people :). But nonetheless it doesn’t stop me from coming here. If you’re in the neighborhood I advise you to try it out. It’s the epitome of s «Mom & Pap» shop.

On my first visit, the cashier lady wasn’t very nice to me but my double bacon cheeseburger was on point. I’ve been here twice afterwards, and the food has been great every time. The cashier lady has also been pretty courteous my last few visits. I would recommend the cheeseburger combo because it can get really pricey once you start adding other condiments.

The best charburgers evvvva! I’ve been coming here since I can remember! Buuuut I do have to say the owners can be a little rude & un appreciative of their loyal customers. I’ve walked in plenty of times with a smile & greetings. I get no response with a blank stare as if I’m speaking a different language. One more thing… they charge for every little thing & I hate to say it I would never stop going. Just a little advice to the owners SMILE it won’t kill you. Just imagined how much more your business would blossom!

I had to work the polls for the City’s election in Lakeview Terrace and had only an hour to get lunch, so I drove up Foothill Blvd looking for someplace to eat and came across Super Charburgers. Its a small stand with walk-up window ordering and also an inside counter as well as 8 booths. Super Charburgers is by no means the ritz, but it’s simple and homey, and feels like the kind of burger joint you used to hang out at in high school. They have a large menu of burgers, sandwiches, and ala carte items as well as several combo specials that include both a drink and fries. I ordered the burger combo. The burger was expertly cooked, juicy, and came with all the fixings: lettuce, tomatoes, onions, & pickles. I substituted mayo for the thousand Island dressing that normally comes on the burger. The fries were hot and crispy and they give you a good amount, plus a 16 oz soda; all for only $ 5.70! It’s a great deal! The cashier and the cook were both very nice and welcoming. I highly recommend Super Charburgers if you live in the Lakeview, Shadow Hills, Sunland-Tujunga, or La Crescenta, areas, or if you ever find yourself in the area as I did.

This Place is one of the areas best kept secrets… is been around forever. The appearance is nostalgic. Everything is fresh… The owner is really obsessed with the quality of his food and takes serious pride in what he serves. Other than drinks, fries and salads the owner(older Greek guy) won’t let any employees touch the food. The presentation of each item on the dish is done to perfection… his way… very impressed! Considering this place is known as a burger joint. They serve breakfast all day plus their burgers and Burritos are some of the best I’ve ever had. Their breakfast burritos are amazingly huge! Plus their combination beef burritos and bean & cheese burritos are awesome This isn’t fine dining or kiss ass service… but the service is fast and quality food is of great value. People give the owners a hard time, especially the older lady which happens to be the owner/wife. But there’s been a lot of vandalism done to this place, scratches on the windows, and graffiti on the tables cuts to the seats, so they don’t just let groups of teenagers come in and hang out. I really will be sad if this guy moves back to Greece or retires.

I’ve been going here for years! The Best Double Bacon Cheeseburger and Fried Mushrooms anywhere. The old lady and man are very rude and No smiles or personality:(she is the rudest & mean spirited person I have ever dealt with After 10 years they act like they don’t know you! So sad:(I loved this place but I just go to Tommy’s 1 block up! I can’t wait till they get New Ownership and get that thing of a cashier out of there

Please note — I would give 3.5 stars, if possible, and this review is just on breakfast. This burger joint is another ST staple that we’ve visited many times. It also serves some Mexican food and breakfast. It is a really small place that serves decent, solid food at fair prices. It’s not fancy, by ANY means but it’s a decent choice for take-out. The location is good in that it’s right on Foothill blvd and visible to the many cars that pass through. It’s an old building and could use some cheering up. The interior reminds me of something you might see inside a little food shack on a drive to Vegas, along side an old gas station from the early 60’s. Bland, with an old window AC unit built-in to to the back wall. There is a TV mounted high and large enough for all to enjoy. They have several booths and they are all old but clean. The staff is an older woman who serves as cashier and waitress and an older gentleman who appears to be the cook. Neither seem overly friendly but we don’t buy food from SCB for the service. We usually take-out. You can either order outside at the window or you can order at the counter, inside. This time, we did eat-in. It has been YEARS since I have done that but, what they hey. I ordered a bacon omelet and my friend ordered a breakfast sandwich. I also ordered coffee. They do not have half –n– half, only milk. I don’t really care either way but some folks are big on the creamer thing. The food came out right away, brought to our table by the waitress. My omelet was joined by a LARGE helping of fried potatoes and REALLY good sourdough toast. I didn’t think my omelet came with cheese but there was a square of american style cheese melted on top. The omelet was decent size, full of bacon and delicious — and you could see the mix of egg whites and yolk, insuring that this was house-made and not a prefab egg mix like many restaurants use. The potatoes were also house-made, sliced thin and some of the best breakfast potatoes in town. NOTE: If you’re feeling fancy, get these potatoes to go and throw them in a pan at home with a little olive oil, onions and rosemary. Have a little Parmesan? Throw some on… MMM!!! My friend’s breakfast sandwich was basic but good. He noticed the bacon in his was a higher quality than most standard breakfast places(Denny’s, etc.) There are a lot of other choices in town for breakfast and some of them are much nicer in appearance and service but who cares about that when you’re doing take-out? When we want real, hearty, house-made breakfast at a great price, this place is our #1 take-out choice.

Mom&Pop place. Food is ok. This was my first time here. The older large lady with glasses was rude. I gave her the benefit of doubt and thought she was having a bad day. But she was a different person when other customers came; polite and helpful. Maybe she confused me with someone else, I dunno. Either way, it affected my perspective on this place. I might try this place again, maybe when someone else is taking orders. I’d give this place a 3. But I chose 2 as an overall including service.

Yuum Yuum!!! Little mom and pop place… Small parking lot, about 4 tables inside… you can either order from standing outside the shack or go inside… the little sweet old lady took our order and food was ready pretty fast… Our burger and the grilled chicken sandwich were good in size,(large portions). It was cooked perfectly and it tasted great… Friendly people, good food, I just wish they stayed open a little later…
