The food was pretty good, overpriced for the quality though. My favorite is the cheddar potato soup, very creamy and cheesy and delicious. I also had the appetizer sampler, which was okay. And a mahi fish dish, which was good and flavorful. The husband had a meat dish, which I didn’t care for, not enough flavor. My son has a cheese pizza and he didn’t like it, usually you can’t go wrong with a pizza. My daughter had a steak and she really enjoyed it. My daughter had a red velvet cupcake for her birthday, which she loved.

We had a 70th birthday party tonight. 16 in our party total. The back banquet room was booked for our party. It was quiet and away from everyone. There was a beautiful rock fireplace and a large, long banquet type table. See pic. Our server was very nice and attentive. But my mini bbq pizza didn’t come out with the rest of the food. :-(. But the manager came out to my table personally and apologized. It was yummy. See pic.

Claim Jumper’s has average food with prices that do not match. The service is mediocre matching the taste of the food. I wish I could say I would come back but not at those prices for that kind of food!

There are many places I would suggest going over this restaurant, at least this location. Service was decent, but food was bad. Burnt, over done burger, bad meat to bun ratios for all sandwiches, over spiced kid menu items, etc. They are over priced and have menu items listed that they actually dont even carry in Washington State! I used to love this place, but not anymore.

I can’t believe I’m actually eating at a chain restaurant let alone reviewing one. But our waiter, Greg, was great! Nice, professional and attentive. This 4 star review is for him(he deserves 5 stars) it’s NOT for the food here.

I’ve always enjoyed my dining experiences at Claim Jumper. Happy hour on a Friday night was super busy in the bar and the service, although friendly, took a long time. But the happy hour deals were great and we enjoyed the Happy hour sampler! Love the red velvet cupcake, too! My only request is that happy hour be available throughout the restaurant to alleviate the overly slow service in the bar. My friend and i watched 2 other couples who came after us sit at dirty tables in the bar for over 10 minutes! Mama Stortinis and Applebees already do happy hour throughout the restaurant. Come on Claim Jumper, you should too!

Angry and frustrated. Our family visited Claim Jumper late December for a birthday party. We had a party of 10. The food was average, the service was average, the beverages were great. We paid and tipped well. I noticed a couple weeks later that my card had been charged twice. Once for $ 181.00 and once for over $ 200.00, they were back to back charges and are listed on our bank statement, verified by the bank, clearly states Claim Jumper. Bank stated we could file a fraud report or work it out with the vendor. We chose to try to work it out with the vendor first. Numerous calls to the manager here have turned up no options for us as he indicated there was no record of the charges, even though they are clearly listed on our bank statement. We went back to the bank, the bank called the manager of the store and he told our bank representative the same thing. So we filed the fraud report. Not sure what happened here, but it was inconvenient. If the store has no record, maybe this was a staff member doing nefarious things. Either way, to not have an option to recuperate one of the charges from the store and a seemingly uncooperative manager, I can’t bring myself to return there. Ever.

The last time I was at claim jumpers was for my birthday and the service was alright but not horrible. I feel claim jumper it’s we’re you go when it’s sister franchise cheesecake is packed. The food definitely bumps it up little.

Have come here often but my last trip was just so-so. I get the Chicken Fried Steak often when I come and this time the steak was overcooked and a smaller portion than what I am accustomed to there. Not a bad experience and I will try again in the future as it could have just been a bit of an off night in the kitchen. But not what I would expect for the cost of the meals.

It took 2 hours for our food. We did not get a refill on our drinks and it was the saddest experience ever. Our table talked to the manager about the food and all we received was an apology. It wasn’t like we were expecting anything in return except our food and drinks refilled, but you would think they would take the cost of a watered down Coke(due to the wait) off. The franchise might be good, but I would not recommend this location.

We went out spur of moment here again for dinner last night. Front desk, wait help all deserve 5 stars. Food(at least mine) was a bit disappointing. I had the tri tip sandwich and the meat was a bit fatty. Salad side order /my option was also not the freshest. We were surprised to find diced tomato in the Thai peanut slaw. That doesn’t make sense. There other 3 at our table seemed to like thier dinners. Club sandwich was ok, chicken salad sandwich was good. I would still go back but try something different.

We came here for a company lunch, Bryce helped us and did a superb job. We got seated and helped immediately. It was our bosses birthday and he was super patient with us and having to split tabs. They serve the most delicious cheesy bread pretzel, which we got 2 rounds of!!! Food came out at a reasonable time and everything looked and tasted amazing. Their menu has so many options as far as food choices and a great price range between $ 12-$ 32 so you have full control in how much you spend. Great experience for our first time, we will definitely be back.

Food was great, service was great. The only complaint I have is we had a gift card and they said it was not valid. We came home and looked up the balance on the card and it was full. That was pretty dissapointing. Other than that always good! The pizza we had was amazing!

I almost forgot about this restaurant being in the Southcenter area because it’s on the end of area where not too much popular shopping stores are within walking distance so you have to have to be craving Claim Jumper to remember to make a trip there. It’s near the Regal Cinema which used to be a hot spot before the AMC in the actual mall opened up so it explains why this area isn’t too busy with business anymore. I would have never remembered about Claim Jumper until a friend mentioned that he wanted to go eat there. The interior feels just like the interior of Wildfin, but has food menu like BJ’s, typical American restaurant. We sat at the bar area or what they like to call it the«saloon» for happy hour, but actually ends up not ordering anything from the happy hour menu because we were craving big boy’s meal such as ribs and steaks. The happy hour menu actually looks good though, they have items starting at $ 2. It won’t get you full with chips & salsa or salads, but once you reach the $ 4 items, it starts to get better with mozzarella sticks, tacos, sliders, etc. Our ribs and steak came with the option of either salad or soup of the day and you could choose a couple more sides to go with it. The soup of the day was french onion soup, I’m biased because I only like Asian soups such as hot & sour or something including won ton or noodles so I’m not going to rate the soup. Some of the sides we got were mashed potatoes and fried mac & cheese, oh my gosh… heaven! A million calories and food coma later, but worth it! Tell me about your experience if you’ve been here or is going to after readiing this review:)

We have always wanted to try the Sunday brunch after a few visits for lunch in the past. We are Landry’s select members and have always had good service and pretty good food in the past. This visit was just painful. We opted to sit in the bar and were told the bartender was too busy to help us so he would be our server. We ordered brunch plus an order of happy hour calsmari. The calamari was ok, but the brunch? Terrible. Overcooked turkey and roast beef being carved, slider rolls that were SO dry they were inedible. Salad makings needed some serious help and missing or low on a few ingrediants. Then I got to the French toast. I picked one up and it hit the plate like a brick. I can’t believe how hard it was. Picked up another one. Same thing. I’m going«what am I going to do with this??» I tossed it into a bus tub that was under the carving table station. And on, and on.. Nothing fresh, chicken pasta was beyond dry. When waiter came to table he never asked how things were and just had that«deer in the headlights look». Manager came by because the waiter had forgotten to take a 50 $ credit we had on our Landry’s card off. Our bad, but only told him the worst parts of the meal. He later called us and we explained the whole story. He said that«everybody has positive comments on the brunch and service». Never offered any apology, and just kept making excuses. I finally cut him off and got off the phone. Lunch again sometime? Maybe. Brunch? Never !!

Great chicken pot pie but I didn’t even make s dent. We shared the calamari and potato skins appetizer. They had cocktail sauce with the calamari interesting never saw it served that way. Potato Skins were served with ranch dressing. Both interesting sauces must be a NW thing cool.

Claim Jumper is ok. It’s better than Mcburgers-onalds But you would expect more from a 60.00 meal. Nothing special. I guess it’s good ol boy food.

I made reservations for my birthday, they still took 38 mins for a table to clear. I mean I made reservations for a reason, that’s not the worst part. The waiter was not welcoming at all, he wasn’t really helpful either. He got three of our orders wrong, then my sister had a bug in her wine. She told him hoping he would replace it, all he said was oh that’s nasty I wouldn’t want to be drinking that. She had to walk to the bar to replace it, then last but not least this waiter totally didn’t get us my surprise birthday cake. Never will I step foot in to this place ever again. P. S. Their food was not good. They changed their menu from back in the day.

This was our first time to eat here and I have to say we were impressed. We arrived ahead of the crowds and were seated immediately. Our server, Jennifer was very helpful and brought our drink order right away and gave us some extra time to decide since the menu is huge and has way too many things to choose from. I decided on the ribs and shrimp combo. Came with fresh grilled veggies, a side and a salad along with a small loaf of hot bread. It was outstanding as the meat fell off the rib bones and the generous size shrimp were grilled to perfection. A filling meal for $ 24.99. My wife ordered the pot pie. Came with a salad and was the largest pie we’ve ever seen. To go boxes were definitely in order. Outstanding service for sure

We tried their Sunday brunch buffet. There was a good variety of items but lot of them ran out fast. My custom omelet was good but there was a long line. It would probably be better if they had a different person manning the meat carving station instead of having the omelet maker do both, some people only wanted meat but had to wait in the omelet line.
