Very nice place! Went here with some customers. Had a nice time. Service was great!

Used to be a great place to do Happy hour. Service was so so, cleanliness not good. Food might have been good if the waitress would have ever came back to see if we needed anything.

DON’T GETTHESO-CALLEDPRIMERIB! I asked for it rare but they don’t offer it. Long story short, they cook it about medium rare in the morning and put it in the refrigerator. Then microwave it to heat it up to order.(Waitress said they sear it, to heat back up, but there was no sear, pan or grill marks on it at all and the inside was warmer than outside… microwave!). So I asked for the least done piece, waitress asked if I even wanted it heated up or out of frig? I said heated please? Weird! What I got was the very center circle about medium and firm, and the entire outside well done and crusty. That’s your $ 30 dollar cut of so-called prime rib! The manager and cook happen to be sitting not far planning the menu so I politely explained my dis-satisfaction. I mentioned even if you do the frig /microwave way(which is an absolute joke) then if ordered med-rare then the entire thing should be that way… not less than half of it with the rest well-well done. The table of 4 of the managers, cooks and planners could not be more dis-interested! Not a word from them, just the look of please go away! So if you want a place to get salty taco bar appetizers then this place is for you. If you want a professional, respectable place with professional cooking practices then this place is absolutely not for you!

Stanford’s in Southcenter is a decent place for a drink. If you’re feeling like a simple night out, it beats going to an Applebee’s in terms of interior décor and quality of food. take that for what you will, and come with the right expectations. for how inconsistent their food can be(salads can be stale, fried items such as fries or chicken tenders overly oily, etc), i think it is overpriced. but again, this place is like a nicer version of an applebees, so take that as you will and come in with the right expectations. they have something called a «pizza stick» on their happy hour menu. they really should change the name of this item. because upon ordering it, what you get is an old, stale tasting breadstick with marinara dipping sauce. calling this a pizza anything is like labeling a house salad as «soup» with the reasoning that salad comes with dressing. and dressing is liquid. and soup is liquid. therefore the salad is soup.

Went to this place because it looked nice on the outside, thought it was going to be a nice steakhouse, but ended up pretty disappointed. I ordered a steak, it was cooked ok but was super salty, everyone else steaks i was with were ok. appetizers were small, spinach artichoke dip wasnt good. we got dessert. i got the cookie and ice cream. it was awful, the cookie was so over cooked, usually cookies like this in the skillet are soft and gooey, mine was crunchy and crumbled apart. i had to stab it with my fork to break it apart. awful. my husband got the apple pie dessert. it was a soupy mess. they out the vanilla ice cream right under the pie and it melted so quick it was just liquid. i will not be coming back here. even if they food issues were fixed it still wouldnt be worth the 130 $ it was for 2 people. wouldve been better if we just went and got fast food or something.

Went here with my boyfriend to celebrate our first anniversary, and we absolutely loved the ambiance and food. He had the prime rib dip, and said it was the best he’s ever had(he has this at many restaurants). I had the parmesan panko chicken, and it was incredible. We loved everything about our meals, and look forward to returning.

We decided to stop by for HH while waiting for a movie to start. Overall their HH is has some pretty good choices on it. I really enjoyed my drink but the spinach artichoke dip fell really flat. I might try food again sometime, but for now I consider this a decent place to grab a drink.

My hubs and I always go for Happy Hour. They changed the menu and I was apprehensive, but I was super stoked when everything was five-star quality. Definitely try the Cod Tacos… oh em gee… giving my little taco truck by my house a run for its money.

Today we went here on a whim! We have been before and were satisfied; nothing stellar and nothing bad… simply a decent place for a late evening dinner. Today on the other hand, we dropped in and ate in the bar. We ordered the tacos which were super delicious with the homemade salsa & cabbage slaw, the crab-avocado roll were scrumptious-very well done that I didn’t even need my go to wasabi/lemon/soy sauce, the buttermilk chicken strips that were moist and had a perfect crisp texture, and the Cajun shrimp which was the biggest surprise: tender, plump, flavorful pieces! Only giving 4 stars because the restaurant could use tidying up; the blinds were filthy and the booth we were in had crumbs from the previous guest… however noting the bathrooms were very clean!

Stopped in for late lunch. Cocktail was great, as well as service, but so few choices — maybe because it was past usual lunch service? and calamari was way over breaded and cooked. But again, the waitress was wonderful!

Well, I ended up here at Stanford for the first time after two failed attempts of going to another restaurant due to my busy schedule. The restaurant was quite empty on Sunday 12÷13÷15, but there was a Seahawks game taking place in the morning. So I assumed everyone was celebrating at his/her house or at a bar. Well, all of the nearby shopping centers were crowded. That could play an effect. The restaurant is decked out with Christmas decoration, which was very pleasant and comforting. Then again, any Christmas decoration can give you that feeling, right? If it doesn’t, the decorator isn’t doing a great job. Let’s get to the food: my friend and I totally concentrated on the Happy Hour(HH) menu like most Unilocalers recommended here. I have to admit that the HH menu does look good. We did not even get to the regular dinner menu. We settled down with fish taco with chips and buttermilk fried chicken with seasoned French fries. The fish taco was juicy with a Mexican flavor of salsa. The chips tasted like… they were doused with butter. My friend did agree with me on that, so nobody would think I was making this stuff up. The buttermilk fried chickens were all right: 2 pieces of chicken strips and a bunch of French fries. I thought there was nothing special about them. They were done well with the typical taste of… fried chicken and seasoned French fries. Anyway, I was offered a free crème brûlée because my friend wanted to help me celebrate my birthday early before my family would be in town. The waitress walked out with a small bowl of the dessert and a candle planted in the cream. I made a wish and blew the candle. Well, I did enjoy the dessert very much. The custard was not overpowering with sweetness and super creamy and smooth.

This review is based solely on their happy hour menu. They have a great hh menu. I’ve tried mostly everything on the menu. My favorite is their portobello mushrooms. Omg it’s so delicious the sauce they put on there is so good. their mac and cheese is good, tator tots, and I’ve even ordered the more ‘entrée’-ish items like the ribs and cheeseburger. all very surprisingly good. On Wednesdays they have a wine deal for their hh which is ½ off on all bottled wines… so that is dangerously awesome! the ambiance is very relaxing and mellow. kind of has an old dive bar feeling to it… but with a modern twist. if that makes sense lolol.

WORSTOF2015… Date of visit — 11÷21÷15 Where do I begin? I’ll keep it short and simple. Our son had a soccer game in Tumwater. We traveled from West Seattle down south, because that’s what we do for our kids. On the way up, my beautiful wife wanted to pick up a few Christmas presents in Southcenter. Fortunately for us, Grandma and Grandpa hauled the kids back up north. Fancy Face and I did some shopping at the mall and ended up at Best Buy. After all the shopping, we wanted a drink and appetizer. We don’t get out much with the kids, but that’s fine because we love spending time as a family. As we loaded up our car with a few presents we thought it would be nice to have a drink and a snack. We saw a place called«Stanford’s» and decided to check it out. From the outside, it looked somewhat classy. My bad I know from here on out it’s on me. I’m a planner and always research joints before I take my family. This was an impromptu visit, and what could go wrong, we just wanted a drink and snack??? First, we ordered happy hour wine and Crab dip. My Cab arrived in a dirty glass, which included a dirty rim as some just put their lips on it to take a drink. It was disgusting! We sent it back. Our appetizer arrived and it was the wrong one?! Instead of the crab dip, a spinach one was presented. We sent it back. The crab dip arrived and it was disgusting! The pita bread was burnt. I was so hungry I actually took a bite of one and it remained in my tastebuds. How could a restaurant serve this!!! See photo! My wife and I laughed and sent it back. The waitress came over and we told her we’re out! Give us our check and we are out! A minute later a «representative» arrived and apologized with a smirk on his face. We left and headed straight for the exit. We laughed as we headed out into the parking lot on a brisk night. We were still hungry and glanced over at Red Robin. We went over and had another drink and wings. It was epic compared to Stanford’s. We made the best of this night! In closing, horrible experience! I will never go back and NEVERRECOMMEND! Worst of 2015!

Stanford’s is one of my favorite happy hour restaurants around the Southcenter area, the prices are good and the food is delicious. The ambiance of the place is pretty mellow so you can actually have a conversation with whomever you came with. I recommend the rib there, the portion is pretty small but it is delicious. I’ve came here a few times for happy hour and I usually leave with no complaints, the servers are nice and are attentive and the food usually comes out in a timely manner. I definitely recommend checking this place out!

Stanford’s in Tukwila is different than the Stanford’s in Lynnwood. The menu is the same, but it’s smaller and the service is just OK whereas in Lynnwood they are fast and really great. Came in for dinner and was seated right away. I got the fish and chips. The fish was average and the fries were covered in pepper and most of them over-fried. The tartar sauce didn’t taste like it was freshly made. The guy with me got a sirloin which he asked for medium rare and it came out rare. He didn’t mind though. We had to wait a long time to get the check and the restaurant wasn’t busy. The ladies restroom is nice and was really clean. Parking is ample since this location is in Southcenter and surrounded by a couple dozen stores and other restaurants. We were at a table but they have booths that looked a lot more comfortable. Everything is brown and beige. Food: 2.5 Service: 2.5 Ambiance: 3 Parking: 4

Went here with a friend earlier this week for Happy Hour. I had never been to a Stanford’s before, but I knew it’d be pretty standard American fare. There was not a huge variety of items on the menu, but I went with the cod street tacos and the veggie sushi roll. Weird combo, I know, but I wanted to see how they did the different cuisines. The tacos were easily the best part of the meal. They needed more salsa, but they were very flavorful and seemed reasonable for the HH price. Not the best tacos I’ve had, but they were good. I’d have them again. The veggie roll was pretty blah… not much flavor and too much of the sauce they put all over the top. My friend got the pepperoni pizza and I have no idea in what world that would be considered a pizza. It was like a french roll cut in half with toppings on it. Very small, even for a happy hour portion, with like 2 pieces of pepperoni on each ‘slice.’ There were more decorative veggies on the plate than actual pizza. Our waitress was pretty… well, she was there? She seemed pretty checked out to be honest, forgetting what type of wine my friend ordered right after she ordered it and a food item. She wasn’t particularly friendly, but she wasn’t outright rude either. She was just rather cold. Ambiance was a bit odd — very dark, but plenty of TVs showing sports. Place was nearly empty, even from 5−6pm — what I would consider dinnertime for many. I would try this place again, but I wouldn’t seek it out. And I’d likely choose other places over it because I have experienced better happy hours elsewhere.

This is only time I go here, for their HH cause it’s reasonable prices. I believe they’ve added a few items on their menu as well. I really love their drink selection, draft is super cheap! Haven’t tried their desserts only, selection of it is really not that appealing. But I guess I can’t complain much since the food fills me up either way.

So this place always looked like a fancy restaurant because of the ambiance but you can wear casual clothes. Service was good, ambiance was good, people were very nice especially our waitress, the food was alright. However the only thing was that the service was very slow. We went with the 3 for $ 25 deal where you pick three(appetizer, starter, entrée, and dessert) types of food. So we got onion rings as appetizer which came out pretty quick. My starter of tomato basil soup came out right away too. But our entrée took forever. Like 40 min. Even our waitress felt bad and kept keeping us posted that it should be on its way. It took too long so we got our entrée and dessert Togo. We ordered chocolate cake for dessert but when we got home and checked it, it wasn’t even a chocolate cake. It was huge brownie with whip cream and chocolate on the side so I wasn’t very impressed with the dessert either. Other than that, everything was ok. Honestly I like claim jumper better. They’re cheaper and has similar food for cheaper price. Just a thought.

I think the happy hour menu is more exciting than the regular menu. Stanford’s is a sister restaurant to Palomino’s with locations serving Seattle and Bellevue. Great drinks and decent selection of wines offered on the menu. Margarita on the rocks is my drink here since they use real lime juice. Yum! Update-Now serving Moscow Mules!
