Went here yesterday with family from out of town so they could find some Seattle souvenirs. Items are expensive but one should expect nothing less in a gift shop. It’s nice that they allow you to sample Market Spice tea and a local coffee. The sample of tea convinced my sister in law to purchase some to bring back with her. They have a great selection of many local treats, though I wish they had a better selection of Theo chocolates. Tons of Seattle chocolates but not very many Theo chocolates; and I think the latter is tastier. They also had rain globes(instead of snow), which I thought was ingenious and really great!

This place is a perfect shopping destination if you want your fill of eclectic Washington items but don’t want to travel to the niche stores around Seattle. Their merchandise comes at a premium. Their staff is friendly, helpful and professional. Bonus: they ship items for you if you’re sending your items out of state or wherever. I haven’t used that service but I think it’s a good selling point.

wow, this place is expensive!!! but the staff is really nice and helpful. i’ve come in here a couple of times, this time to pick up a gift for my mother in law in florida, knowing she’d appreciate something unique and knowing i would find it here. i bought her a little glass ball from glass eye studio. i would have bought some homegrown items for myself if they weren’t marked up so high for the tourists. i think they should offer a discount to locals to encourage us to shop here.
