Nordstrom Rack

Received the worst customer service at this store. There is a manager named David doesn’t know the store policy. I asked him about Nordstrom rack store policy in price adjustment and holding item and apparently he said he set the policy. He was rude and I never felt so violated as a customer.

I have always shopped one department more than any other at the Rack: SHOES! This location has a much smaller shoe inventory than any other. They keep the shoes in pairs, and put the shoes in boxes, both of which limit the shelf space they have. To make things worse, the boxes they put the shoes in are rarely the actual brand of the shoes inside… If you are looking for a specific brand of shoes, the shoe boxes offer no help. I can’t deny that waiting in line to get the left shoe is a pain at some of the other Rack locations, but it allows them to pile shoes on top of another, quadrupling shelf space. I’d vote waiting for the shoe match over a wimpy inventory ANY day.
Parking is fine at this location. Around the holidays, the employees can check you out with their iPhones in whichever department you are in, so you won’t have to stand in the twenty minute line at the registers. This Rack has maybe half as many check out stands as other locations, so expect longer checkout line waits.
All in all, if you are going into this location to buy shoes, good luck! You will need it!

I like this rack the staff is very helpful and they always have something that sparks my interest

I am not an avid clothing shopper and while I am fond of Nordstrom, I am not overly fond of Nordstrom Rack. Nordstrom Rack is located in a nice shopping complex in Tukwila. There is plenty of parking, and lots to see and dine. It is a newer complex and it has the mass produced vibe as many of the newer shopping complexes have. Nice, but cookie cutter beige.
Norstrom Rack has a great deal of selection all lumped together. Racks and racks of disjointed clothing choices, shoes, and accessories clutter the aisles. It has some resemblance of order, but only enough to guide the uncertain shopper to the general direction of what one may be looking for. It is organized chaos at best.
If someone is certain about what they want, or at least certain about what type of clothing one wants, then Nordstrom Rack may be suited for them. I can see the bargain hunter enjoying the challenge of sorting through the mismatch of shirts to find that stellar find. For those of us who want precision, this is not the place to find it. Employees are fairly nonexistent, except for those who man the cash registers.

Always new items coming in. Employees not always available to help. Parking is ample and clean. Neat items at times. Designer jeans and non-​designer items always available. Lots of jewelry to choose from.

I love shopping here! I bought 2 Pairs of shoes for the price of one! I love designer brands at less price! I bought Coach brown signature flat shoes and a Guess sandals! The customer service was great and fast! Thank you! I will be back for more!

In my experience this has been one of the better Nordstrom Rack’s I’ve visited. It’s normally very orderly and offers a wider variety of sizes than I’ve seen at other locations. I normally luck into some fabulous finds in the clearance racks, but most often get into trouble in handbags and shoes! ;)

This place is pretty unpleasant in the lead-​up to Christmas. I went here on Black Friday weekend and there were a lot of people in a fairly tight space. There’s a frantic atmosphere that makes you want not to shop but to promptly leave. Rather than see merchandise tastefully displayed on shelves it’s stuffed together on, well, racks. I recommend figuring out what you want by visiting a department store like Nordstrom first, then come here and track it down.
Service is mediocre if you even get it. People don’t bother to ask you how you’re doing or if you’re finding everything. You’re on your own.
Selection is limited to whatever got left over from regular Nordstrom, which means you’re somewhat unlikely to find exactly what you want. This is definitely true in men’s. The stuff they sell is often tacky, unfortunately. I recommend thinking carefully before buying things here — don’t get it just because it’s a deal. If you’re interested in designer items, save up and wait for a sale at regular Nordstrom. You’ll get fewer items for the money but they’ll be exactly what you want. If you’re trying to save money but still want high quality clothes, visit an outlet store (for example, J Crew Factory Store); you’ll find a better selection at lower prices.
I was fortunate to find a stunning Michael Kors coat, which looks fabulous and works great in the spring and fall. It was around $ 120, which isn’t too bad.
The premise of Nordstrom Rack is to have designer items at lower prices than Nordstrom. Even this doesn’t seem to be true. Items are still quite expensive. On Black Friday weekend the only discount they offered was 30% off clearance items — no extra discount on everything else.

I really love the Rack. This location is nice and clean and almost everything is organized — it will never always be organized because of the large amount of customers digging through the purses, shoes and clothes nonstop.
I got great customer service from an employee carrying her purse when I asked to look at a watch. I realized right after I asked that she was probably on her way to break. When I asked if someone else could help so she could go, she said it wasn’t a problem and was genuinely happy to open the watch case for me and not be in a rush. A few other employees offered to help me when I was looking at clothes, and the cashier was friendly too.
I’ve been to this location a few times. They have a great section in the middle of the store for women’s and misses clothing on clearance that is always revolving. This time it was up to 70% off their already slashed prices. I found some great deals like a $ 8 sequin tank.
Huge parking lot which is free and next to other good stores and near the mall. Great location.

Located in the rear of Southcenter’s latest development, it’s pretty solid with broad customer base. The afternoon I swung by it was rather busy but didn’t appear as though a wind storm went through the aisles and walkways (well, maybe above ground).
I shopped for some running/​joggin/​multi-​purpose shoes. While the selection isn’t quite that great, I did manage to find some neat comfy ones. I think maybe once someone asked how I was doing, maybe not. When I got in line, though, it got backed up and some «mobile cashiers» came to the rescue. I was called off to the side, swiped my card on the mobile device, et voila!
The façade and parking area is rather nice.

Always a good selection. Much more organized than any other store! Salespeople are always very friendly and helpful. A very pleasant shopping experience!

I have been to my share of Nordstrom Rack stores and this one is one of the better ones. It is much more organized than others and generally has a good selection. The only one better in the are is the one up in Lynwood at Alderwood mall, but this one is great as well.

This is a great RACK, I thought the selection was great today. Service was great. Store is clean and tidy. I like this RACK better then Factoria.

I’m not big on shopping — I only go if I absolutely need something. But one thing I don’t typically turn down is a good deal. Nordstrom Rack in Tukwila is one of my favorite spots to find a good deal. The biggest reason is of all the NRs out there, this is by far the most organized one. Clothes are never in heaps, sizes are in proper places, and shoes are easy to find.
They have a great selection of men’s accessories as well: belts, suspenders, cuff links, neck ties, and even bow ties and handkerchiefs.
The one down side is that they don’t seem to have a HUGE selection of items like other locations but to not have to dig through piles of clothes to find something you like only to find that it doesn’t fit — is worth picking out of less selection.

I think this rack has more selection than the one downtown. It’s probably just as disorganized though. The one in Factoria probably has the best layout because there are actual aisle-​ways in between the racks. When I’m shopping it’s a big deal if I have to keep playing the, «I want to look at what you’re looking at, so move,» game.
Parking here always kind of sucks.

Of all the Racks I’ve been to, this one has to be my favorite.
The shoe section is neat and organized, and the selections usually have prime items. It’s rare that I can walk out of here without a purchase…

I like this Nordstrom Rack because they have a pretty decent shoe selection for a size 4 – 5 person. Sure it’s not huge, but more than other stores I think. With regards to clothes and other things, not a big big selection, but it’s more organized than say the Seattle store, which I hate. Staff were friendly and helpful. I came on their mega points day with a friend. I don’t have a Nordies card, but if you did, you got like 10x the points or something bananas. Anyway, I live in Kirkland and wouldn’t typically drive this far for the Rack, but it was fun to check out.

Its amazing how they can have so many clothes and yet I found nothing. My mother-​in-​law found a ton of things tho! Their prices are pretty good, but be careful because there are still somethings that are cheaper elsewhere. Its messy and disorganized too, so be prepared for a bit of madness.

Came out to Tukwila because my friend has never been to the Rack and this was the closest location to us. Customer service is pretty much non-​existent. The cashier was present, but gave you the «i’m too cool to ring you up» vibe.
Nordstrom rack is the high end of TJ Maxx. Even though everything in their store is «cheaper» than the original price, it’s not ALWAYS a deal unless you’re really into more higher end clothing and things. Though, I have to admit, they have an amazing purse collection! I did end up picking up a scarf for more than half off the original price.
My friend mentioned to me they were having an OPI nail polish sale, but when we went they had this brand I’ve never even heard of and we did see a couple OPI polishes. I don’t think the Rack is the best place to purchase beauty products. They sell a lot of brands like Neutrogena which you can just buy at Walgreens. If you’re a huge fan of Urban Decay, they do have their primer potion for about $ 9.
Overall, not too bad. I would return again by myself though so I can browse at everything.

The cleaners ruined a bunch of dress shirts so I had to at the last minute head to Southcenter to stock up. But I’ll be dammed, the friggin’ Southcenter parking lot was full! No parking on a gorgeous Sunday? WTF are people doing at the mall on one of our few nice weekends? Wait a second, what was I doing there …
Anyway, I was also kind of in the mood for a taste of Western Canadian culture, so I went over to Nordy Rack. And oh boy was there a lot of BC licences plates in the parking lot! But very few mullets and acid wash…
For dress clothes its a pretty limited selection for obvious reasons. I don’t read GQ or MJ, so I’m hesitant about buying any dress clothes at the Rack that are not white shirts or black /​grey /​navy slacks. Who knows what will happen to me If I wear the wrong shade of blue or an off pattern of stripes. For these basics, the Rack will have you covered. Anything else along these lines is a gamble, unless your Canadian.
