Came here for my birthday dinner with friends. I had the pesto halibut. I found it a little dry but It was good. I ended up throwing up really bad at 3 am from it though. It’s a super pricey restaurant. The ambience was dark and relaxing though. It took out food forever to arrive. I definitely won’t go out of my way to eat here only because the prices.

Went to dinner here with a large group on a Thursday night. We made reservations though when we got there we quickly realized we didn’t need to as the place was basically empty. Half way through our meal we had an extra person show up and they wouldn’t let her sit with us. They said we were taking up too much room at the tables we were at. Keep in mind that aside from us, there were maybe 3 – 4 other people in the entire restaurant. Also the tables we were at had leafs that folded out and not all of them were even folded out… So there were 12 of us, each spending at least $ 70-$ 80 each and they wouldn’t let another person sit with us. It was pretty rude.

First time eating here and our meal was excellent. Our server Florence was great and very attentive. We started with the calamari with spicy slaw. My husband had the king crab legs and I had the pesto crusted halibut. Both entrees were amazing. We will definitely eat here again.

Best steak in town! New York steak was cooked to my request, tender and delicious. Worth the money. I recommend to everyone.

Second time eating here and I have to say definitely a better experience second time around. Started off with salmon chowder, it was very delicious. It had corn, potatoes, and smoked salmon. Flavor was outta this world. It was very filling as well to my surprise. I had the make your own got the salmon tail side with lemon sauce. You get to choose 2 sides I got the gouda mash and spaghetti squash, best sides I’d say! Everything was made fresh and quality. We got started off with flat breads and flavored butters first time around I wasn’t a fan but it definitely grew on me. For such a fancy restraurant there menu is very limited and no sushi, sad. Seating has been open both times I’ve been here, never packed. I like the dimmed light atmosphere as well.

WOW… That’s all I can say when we went to Blackfish last night for a few celebrations. Must be under new management or something because things have changed… A new menu… a lot of things have been dropped and a lot of PRICES have gone UP!!! Can not believe how much they are charging for some of my favorites… The food was good as usual, the Sea Bass was some of the best I’ve ever head. Too bad about the price increase… we may have to find another place for our family celebrations. Also… Must fix music. It seems like they were playing for a Las Vegas lounge instead of an upscale restaurant.

I have been here previously and had a wonderful meal with great service. Not so much last night. Our waitress wasn’t so pleasant. Her pleasantness was disproportionate to the amount of money spent in their establishment. Maybe she was on a work release program last night. The filet mignon, delicious. The salmon and Chilean sea bass ordered by my friends, according to them, delicious. My husbands scallops, delicious. The crème brûlée? To share? Wasn’t enough for even one person. We should have been warned. The sundae ordered by our friends looked good and was a hearty portion. Our crème brûlée was about ½ inch wide and 2 inches long. It wasn’t inexpensive either. Even though the money wasn’t the focus, neither was the service nor our desert. I expected more from this establishment and am sorry to report, disappointed. We brought friends visiting from out of town and will think twice before we do that again.

I ordered the lobster tail, creamy cheesy mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts and it was amazing. So good and flavorful!!! My BF also ordered the filet mignon and it was tasty! And that says a lot coming from me who doesn’t really like steak lol we also ordered the kimono oysters and it was comparable to the oysters I’ve had at the Brooklyn in downtown. Definitely coming back here! The décor was so cute and service was excellent.

Amazing and creative food. Well you gotta give them credit the food is unique and inventive even for the Puget Sound. Service was great and lots to look forward to the next time I come in! Will be back.

One of my favorite things in the world is a truly delicious meal, my second favorite is excellent service with not just a smile but personality too! With Blackfish you get BOTH! I have never been treated so well. Our server Jill knew the answer to EVERY one of my questions. As a former server there were many! The food was some of the best we’ve ever had! I recommend the bounty bowl and scallops! Thanks again Jill, you made our night truly special.

We were a party of 6 on a Thursday evening. Most of us had the king salmon grilled with garlic butter which was excellent, an ample portion for me, a big man with a large appetite. Most also had the delicious Tillamook potato hash for a side. I had the Brussels sprouts with bacon for the other side which were pretty good coming from someone who hated them growing up. My wife had the red and gold beets which were very flavorful. My sister had a chicken entrée with the huckleberry jalapeño sauce which was way too spicy hot to enjoy the chicken. So the food was great, the service great but the noise was terrible, way too loud to have a normal conversation and that’s why I gave it 4 stars.

This is absolutely the best restaurant I’ve ever been to. And I’ve been to a few because we travel and rarely cook. I will come here at lease once a week from now on to try everything on their menu. The service and the food was everything and some. I would give it ten stars if I could. Was worth every penny

Wow! Never had salmon this good! And guess what? Best service we’ve had in a long time! You can get something here that you can’t elsewhere. For one, salmon cooked the tribal way, alderwood smoked over alderwood flame, but that’s not all, they also know precisely when the fish is done! Top that with some fantastic seasoning and you have the PERFECTPIECEOFSALMON! We told them we wanted ice cream with a shot of espresso over the top(not on the menu) and they came out with not just that, but that with two rock sugar stir sticks and two little chocolate cookies to go with! We will be back for more than three reasons! One being for the best salmon ever! My husband wants me to give honorable mention to those incredible butternut raviolis and corn fritters!

To be honest i was really impressed with the quality of the food. There is a lacking of nice restaurant in this area. Did some research and this restaurant stands out but still i still wasnt expecting too much. The décor was nice. Like a fancy bar. It bar portion was connected to the casino. The restaurant was really loud. But ya had the oyster, salmon chowder, lobster and pork belly for appe and had filet mignoin for entre. Oyster was awesome. Chowder was great, lobster was really good. Pork belly was a good but it was like eating too much fat with not enough other stuff to compliment it. Steak it pretty good. The mushroom risoto was great. Overall food quality is definitely 5 star and for the tulalip area this might be the best u can find.

Blackfish was a stop while at the Casino for a «pre-birthday dinner» with my girlfriend. Has nice décor all around and their menus have this aluminum on the cover which is pretty neat. We didn’t order drinks since we had drinks that we brought in from the casino floor but they did start us off with flat breads and different butters. All of them we’re pretty tasty. I also ordered half dozen oyster flight and they all had a unique taste, in a good way. The dressing they compliment with the oysters are delicious! Girlfriend ordered the Cobb salad which is a pretty large portion. She loves it and it was yummy. It has deviled quail eggs, blue cheese crumbles, smoked salmon, crab,(usually shrimp? But this one didn’t have it), bacon, olives and to top it off with a dill lemon dressing. I ordered the king salmon grilled with honey spaghetti squash and veggie/cheese ravioli with blackberry-jalapeño jelly. It was nicely done. I was craving battered fish but told the waitress grilled instead, so I’m still craving battered fish… They top off the dinner with these little chocolate cookies as well. Anyway, 4 stars for the food. More spendy than the usual but that’s what you get for seafood. Deduct a star for the waitress service. She started off great but then disappeared or avoided our table for whatever reason. There was a birthday table next to us and she was serving that(bigger tip maybe?) so I’m sure she saw us sitting there waiting for our boxes for at least 10 minutes. Would come back.

This restaurant is located inside the Tulalip Casino and perhaps somewhat appropriately, the food is somewhat of a gamble. On an off night the food is good but when they’re at the top of their game, wow, their steak can rival what’s served by some of the best steakhouses in Seattle. Similarly the seafood on a good night can rival what’s done by higher end fine dining restaurants. If you’re feeling lucky you should try stopping by.

After all the commercials I expected a cut above the buffet, but did not get it. The staff was pleasant, but as a «destination restaurant» this place fell short. The nearly desiccated fish in the front cooler should have been the first sign. Choice of oysters was nice and the presentation was fine. Described as Lobster between slices of heirloom tomatoes and mozzarella, the appetizer turned out to be some weird lobster salad that I would not have ordered had it said lobster salad. Really sad and tasteless. Ribs were ok, but the quality of the meat was not sit down restaurant worthy. More like food truck level. The filet mignon was over cooked with no char. Desserts were disastrous with a chocolate cake that was hot pudding and a cobbler that had a 90 bread to 10 fruit differential. To the server’s credit she took it off the bill when she saw I took one bite. I get that it is a casino restaurant, and this is where anyone who has a little luck looks to treating themselves, but it really falls short. Feeling bad for people who actually think this is good food, but if Chili’s and Applebee’s are your standard it may seem a step up. It is not. Just gamble and drink. You can eat on the way home.

Got the crab legs here and oysters. They were good and the price was reasonable. Plus, they were open late on a Sunday which is great for us graveyard people. The smoky atmosphere was a bit of a detraction to the whole ambience. However, the service was quick and friendly. The dessert was so so… ordered the tart with frozen berries. Not so sure about the frozen berries. The dish was pretty to look at but the frozen berries became difficult to eat after a while. There were a lot of berries and overall it was good, but just too much frozen stuff on the plate.
