Update* Was contacted by a food and beverage manager Tulalip Casino. According to her it is not the policy to serve expired food and apologized for the situation. I appreciate the reply and wanted to post that another manager of the company states that the comments of another manager and the barista were not correct. I have chosen to still leave this posting up though as the service from the first manager was unacceptable and two other employees both very clearly told me a different policy without hesitation. The manager who responded to my email was very professional and kind; however, the incident still did occur though. —- Can no longer say I recommend Killer Coffee… The business is a part of the casino, thus is on tribal land. This means that Snohomish County Health has no say in the safety of food and drinks from here. As my coffee drink was being made, I noticed the gallon of milk had expired two days ago. I brought this to the staffs attention, who she handled it very well. She apologized and pulled out a new gallon for my order. The management states it is ok for them to serve milk 2 – 3 days past the date on the container and that staff is not allowed to discard it. When I was checking out of the hotel, I brought this up to the front desks attention, who called a manager for me. This manager was incredibly rude and could have cared less about guests. He stated he went over the stand and it was only one gallon that he found and they must of just missed it. When I asked him about the stands comment about managers policy on 2 – 3 days he stated that they are not required to follow state regulations here, as they are on tribal land. This is what really upset me. His attitude was very concending and rude. I let him know it was concerning to me as a former manager for a large coffee company, and he replied that was my stores policy and again they could do otherwise. When it comes to food safety, it shocks me that they would not act in a professional fashion. Apologize to me for the situation, say you appreciate the feedback and will pass it up the chain. Anything like that. To come over clearly upset that you had to be called away from something else and snap at a guest is not ok to do. Kudos to the barista for making a great drink, keeping a positive attitude and handling the situation well, but the management clearly does not care.

No where better for a midnight macadamia bar or brownie for under $ 2 when you are stayin at the hotel & the munchies hit you. Friendly staff both times I went.

After a long day of gambling the cheap free coffee’s aren’t good enough. Thank goodness they have this! They are very well educated about different drinks. I shot an absurd coffee snob order and she didn’t even blink. She made it perfectly. They have everything here, great drinks, snacks. Even a bar! Not much else to say other than they have great drinks and great staff. Tell’em it’s your birthday and they might give ya something for free… Either a drink or a weird look.
