Food portion terrible compared to price. Food not seasoned very good. Had the Korean box lunch. Tasted like out of a box, but rice was good. Wife had ox tail soup. Where is the ox tail, barely any meat or noodles, had broth though. Anyway avoid this place unless you want to be disappointed.

I’m not going to lie to you, I’m not a Korean food expert. With that being said I cannot talk about its authenticity but from a beginners point of view. It seems pretty legit to me. Lol. Although, I’m not an expert… I have been VERY interested in Korean food. I’ve always wanted to try Spicy Rice Cakes!(Those KDrama’s making it look tasty) They were yummy. Not too spicy, chewy and the fish cakes were good too. Another dish that I wanted to try thanks to KDrama’s *cough* Coffee Prince *cough* was JaJangMyeon(black bean noodles). This one seemed pretty authentic and it tasted good but the sauce was really thick. I think it’s suppose to be like that though? I couldn’t eat a lot of it, but I am looking forward to my leftovers. Lol. The only thing about this place I didn’t like was how pricey everything was. $ 13 just for a bowl of JaJangMyeon, $ 10 for Rice Cakes and $ 14 for Bulgogi??? For that I have to knock it down a couple stars, because the portions were pretty small for what you’re paying for. You order at the counter. It’s very casual and self seating. Almost like a fast food joint. Not the right atmosphere to be charging that much, in my opinion. They also serve boba smoothies which seem to be a big hit. Overall the food I ordered was a little above average I would say 3 ½ stars. Too bad you can’t give half stars! Get on that Unilocal

Great people and great boba!!! You’ve got to try the Thai Tea. Chill place, up dated and modern.

During my business trip, I misses Korean food so much. It is only place to eat Korean food in this city Tulare. I was googling to find it. Food is fantastic and chef greg and josh is so kind and nice. Soybean paste stew tasted just like home. Chicken and beef bulgogi is perfect to my appetite. I would like to visit next time whenever I am here Tulare. I strongly recommend to try Korean food here.

What a knock out place for awesome Korean food especially the Spicy Noodle Soup! The broth is simply the best I have ever had in a long time! The atmosphere is so cozy and comfortable! This is certainly the best kept secret in Tulare! You are missing out if you don’t swing by!

The best korean food in my experience. The service, taste, interiors are all perfect and chef Greg’s bbq and soup was excellent.

Food was fantastic, but the price point for the atmosphere was wrong. You order at the counter, but the lunchbox option is $ 14(not including drink). It was one of the cheapest options. I would love to see them offer a $ 9 item of Bulgogi and rice. I will not be back because it is too expensive to drop that much money for that type of food/atmosphere.

Chef Greg is a great host and his dishes are superb. Bulgogi burger and dumpling soup and rice cake are exquisite. I will be trying each menu item at least once here. Amazingly humble place and very tasty! This place needs to stay.

Excellent traditional Korean food. Small place, service was exceptional and chef came out after we ate to find out how we liked dinner. Good experience

Great service and great quality food, it was me and my friend first time eating there and I really loved it there. I highly recommend this place, yeah they have a kinda small menu choices but just let the food do the talking, the waitress there was nice and she took care of us came by and asked if everything fine, just a wonderful experience there, but yes highly recommend this place: D

I’ve tried many Korean places from Bay Area to Los Angeles and I think this place is ok. The japchae is undercooked its taste is really good but the glass noodles are hard. I ordered the the short ribs which is not on the menu and those were delicious but damn the price is really expensive. $ 18 for short ribs, rice, and kimchi. The another $ 18 for japchae so it was the most expensive Korean but it takes care of the craving for Korean

First time at Korean Chili. I’ve had Korean a few other times in LA and Fresno. I would say this compares. My boyfriend had the bimbambop and the rice wasn’t warm enough for him. I had the spicy pork plate it was very good the flavor was awesome. The price was high for it being a fast food style place. The staff was welcoming and willing to share tips of how to best eat the plates. The restaurant is a little small but good for the time being. I wish the owners the best success.

Could have given it a higher rate but I feel their prices are unreasonable… overpriced! Comparing it to other Korean places I have been to, the food is OK.

Family owned business. I could tell that the owners genuinely care about their customers! They want to bring quality food and good service and they definitely delivered both! During our meal Chef Greg came to introduce himself and asked how we enjoyed the food. It’s obvious that Chef Greg puts his heart into his cooking! Chef Greg’s wife was very helpful in describing the different menu items as well.

This is so delicious. Freshly made and hand made. The staff is very kind and friendly. Don’t let the prices scare you away. I live in the OC and this place beats some of the Koren BBQ spots I go to.

Korean food in Tulare? Thats a first. We have to travel to los angeles before, not anymore. Liked the green tea smoothie with bobba as well as the fried tofu. Will become a regular. Kimchie is good too. Price wise i think thats debatable but for me its reasonable.

I was going to give 2 stars but, they have boba smoothies! I dig the authenticity of the food. We had BBQ box & a num9. A bit pricy for the amount of food. The food had a great flavor but, not spicy at all?.. If you want Korean this is the only place in town. I will go back and try the different soups. They look delicious.

If you have ever tried authentic Korean food, you will LOVE this restaurant. My family and I love Korean food and when we saw that Korean Chili was coming to town, we couldn’t wait. My husband and I decided to try it out for dinner and as usual, we started with a familiar dish, since this was our first visit. Let me tell you… we were NOTDISAPPOINTED at all, everything was delicious. The Deok Bok Gi was sooooooo delicious I didn’t leave any for my husband to try. The portions are more than enough. Place is very clean and booths have a very high back, so lots of privacy. That’s a big plus for our family since we have teenagers and they tend to get loud. The women who work there are very sweet, nice and helpful. Korean Chili serves all your familiar Korean dishes, which makes ordering easy. We will definitely be going back.
