Daniel was the perfect waiter. Best we’ve had since moving here a month ago. The food? Scrumptious! Prime rib like butter! Smoked salmon was, well… scrumptious! House salad… superior. We’ll be back!

Charlston’s is one of my go-to carry out spots. I’m a sucker for their fresh fish of the day and Walts Champagne Chicken Salad! I usually tend to support local restaurants, but this restaurant is one of my favorites for lunch or dinner. Lots of light options, too!

The best food and food combinations I have had at a restaurant! Stopped by at the suggestion of local co workers. I had the salmon on a bed of cucumbers. It was FANTASTIC! My coworkers laughed because it was all I could talk about the next day! I haven’t found anyone that was unhappy with it. My wife went with a group a few weeks later and they were all VERY pleased!

Only four stars as it is a chain. Lunch w/lawyer. Couldn’t figure out why he chose Charleston’s. Then I was pleasantly surprised. Admittedly had not been there for some time. I recall adequate food and good service. But it was so pretty! Wonderful atmosphere. A quiet, darkened respite from the bustle of outside. Rather romantic. The staff was welcoming, supportive, helpful and attentive enough, not intrusive. The short menu varied. This isn’t gourmet, but perfect for a business lunch. I had the cheeseburger, cooked perfectly to my request. And don’t forget the«loaded potato soup» they’re famous for. It is awesome.

Iota a chain but you would never know it. The décor is dark, warm and inviting. The food is top quality and flavorful. Personal favorites are the smoked salmon, pork chops, Parmesan chicken and a full flavor prime rib. The potato soup is thick and delicious. The key lime pie is top shelf

The food is good — a little pricey for my tastes. Great service. However, I ordered coleslaw with a sandwich and when I took a bite it tasted like hot soap! Not pleasant at all. My wife tasted it and we decided it must have cilantro in it — which I detest! When I asked, the waitress if it had cilantro she confirmed that it did — along with jalapeño(hence the heat). I didn’t mind the heat but if I wanted to eat bleach water idve asked for it! Enough people like me dislike cilantro I think it should be mentioned on the menu. The rest of the food was great!

Flatbread pizza and spinach artichoke dip were awesome. Good ambiance and located in a very cute, trendy part of town. Would def return.

We went to dinner at the Charlestons on Peoria. What a great experience. We sat at the bar and were served exquisitely by Brittany and Lauren. I had a pizza and my wife had the salmon salad. Both were prepared perfectly. We eat here often, whether we are at the bar or in the dining room the service and the food are great! We look forward to each visit. An update to previous reviews. Had dinner again at this location in the bar. Matt and Lauren were our servers. Food was outstanding and the service was great!

I ordered the Reuben sandwich it was grilled with Swiss cheese sauerkraut corn beef and they forgot to put the thousand Island dressing in it, so I was brought a side of thousand Island put it in myself a sandwich was good french fries were hot and crispy I didn’t like the pickle round that was sliced on top of the Ruben, it made The grilled bread soggy. My friend ordered the crispy chicken sandwich which had chicken, greens, tomato, Swiss cheese and mayonnaise and she ordered the french fries. they she it was very good, The french fries for piping hot that was great first time in a long time that I’ve had really hot french fries right out the fryer good job. The presentations of both sandwiches was excellent and tasted very good. The service was nice and fast, they accommodate the lunch crowd knowing you have to get back to work. Good service, good food and although they’re busy they serve in a timely manner very impressed. both sandwiches were huge I could only eat half of mine.

I hate to give a low review but I have to. Not because of the service or the atmosphere but because of the quality of the food. The service and atmosphere are 5 star but the food was just sub par. My steak was just ok and the veggies over cooked. I would describe it to you like this: Not a place I would take a date but more of a casual eating area with friends.

Tonight we went to Charlston’s for a company dinner. And prior to reading this it’s important to know that I’m one of the most understanding people there is. I NEVER post a negative review. This experience was utterly repulsive and revolting. To start the night out a party of six was placed at a table that might comfortably seat four. At this point we were understanding and realized that this close to the holiday season we should have called in our reservation. After our drinks were ordered I was elbowed in the head, I’m not talking about a very light tap on the wisdom cube I’m talking about a Mark McGuire home run to my brain box. This then prompted the«manager» to refund our drinks for the rest of the night and even then I was very understanding and insisted that it was not necessary that he do so. Shortly after two of my co-workers were provided with the wrong drinks. STILL no big deal it was busy we understood. Here’s the kicker, I look up from my hamburger to see our boss holding what seems to be a magnum jimmy on her fork(covered in ranch to add to the irony). She had ordered a salad at no point do I recall her requesting for a disposable glove to be provided with the meal. I am not kidding she got half through her salad to find out that there was a disposable latex glove in her salad. When we spoke to two separate managers about this encounter they offered to refund her meal and ONLY her meal after throwing a fuss they also included another of our co-workers meals. This was a 200 dollar ticket in which nearly the entire thing was paid for despite this fundamentally disrespectful and unsanitary treatment. If you or your loved ones should decide to eat at Charleston’s please wear a helmet and ensure that you check every bite for latex.

It’s really hard to go wrong with this place. They have a good sized menu but not too big so that they are not inconsistent. I came here for a work lunch and ordered the Chicken Avocado Club. It is a knockout sandwich. Super good flavors!!! It came with fries and their fries are tasty too. The atmosphere is nice inside and the servers and host staff are super friendly. Prices are as expected and for the quality of the food; it is hard to beat.

Very tasty and affordable food. The staff is attentive and our waitress was right on with her recommendations. This is a very pretty restaurant and the spinach dip is some of the best I’ve had. The salads are huge, my favorite was the kale salad. I will certainly be back to this restaurant very soon! A must try!

can you REALLY go wrong with Charleston’s? the answer is no. I am a big fan of pretty much everything here — their baked potato soup(seriously the best soup I’ll ever eat in my lifetime), chips with salsa & queso, chicken club sandwich with avocado & bacon, chicken fingers. it’s all tasty. don’t go here if: –you care about a unique environment. Charleston’s is a chain(and one of the best, at that) that’s about the only thing I can think of that could be a negative. their banquet room is great for larger events and their curbside to go is great!

Charleston’s is a go-to for a really nice and reasonable date night or important meeting. Inside the restaurant feels special with dim lighting, enormous leather booths and professional hostesses. The menu is killer and has something for everyone. I now love the new Kale salad served with their signature croissant. The kale is fresh and consistently crisp. I also recommend to burger: it’s drool-worthy. There’s also a bar with a great drink menu. The takeout option here brings it’s A-game. You call it in and park in a specific area and they bring your order out to you!

Tis a nice place to stop in for a meal, we enjoyed a broiled chicken breast with mushrooms, bacon, and cheese, served with a veggie side(great for low carb). After several visits we are fans, drop by and enjoy what they offer!
