Tried this place for the first time with my wife. She had the Return of the Mac. BBQ sauce was a different twist but worked really well. Onions needed to be cooked more but still really good. I tried the Lefties chili and ghost pepper cheese burger. I like a spice and enjoyed every bite. Not a huge plate of fries but then again they were huge. Great stuff. Definitely will be back.

I got the Spicy Soul and Swiss burger. It was delicious. Who knew sweet BBQ sauce would go so well with jalapenos and bacon? Fries here are the freaking BOMB. Seasoned waffle fries = the best. Only downside was THEREWASN’T ENOUGH(Seriously, there were less than 15 fries on my plate?!) and a couple of them still had that raw/undercooked taste. Service here was awesome. It wasn’t busy, but the people that were there were sitting at the bar. I sat at a table and the bartender still managed to keep tabs on me and keep my water filled.

A wonderful place for a pint and some food. The bartenders are friendly, the BLAT sandwich is delicious and their blue cheese mashed potatoes are pure decadence.

I don’t write reviews and I’m making a point to write one. Service sucked and waitress had a bad attitude. Food is ok.

My boyfriend and I had gone here earlier when they first opened and weren’t serving food yet. My impression then was that it had a good vibe(it’s a really nice space) and good service, and I like their sidewalk/patio area. We finally were able to go back and try it out for dinner last night. We seated ourselves and decided to go further from the door as there was a small group of musicians setting up and we didn’t want it to be too loud. Turns out we didn’t have anything to worry about – the music was really nice(jazz) and not too loud, even for us. Service was prompt and friendly. The beer selection was decent(I got a Marshall Sundown wheat, my boyfriend had a Tallgrass 400 Pound Monkey), and I feel like the prices were just a little high(like maybe $ 1 more than I would expect). But no big deal. The food was delicious and exactly what I wanted! I got the steak sammie(really good although I would have gone a little lighter on the mustard) with a side of mac and cheese(SOGOOD). My boyfriend got the turkey B.L.A.T. with carrots and hummus, and he said he really enjoyed all his food… the pine nuts in the hummus were a tasty touch. Food seemed pretty reasonably priced to me. Overall I would definitely go here again… there were a lot of things on the menu that sounded really good to me, and I liked that it was comfortable/casual yet had a slightly more upscale vibe than somewhere like Leon’s(one of our go-to places).

Stopped in here for a couple drinks before a Driller’s game this summer. Although we were just here for a little while the bartender was welcoming and efficient. I am eager to return and try some grub!

Attended an OSU alumni watch party event here with my son. We were upstairs and generally in an inconvenient location to keep serviced. Don’t get me wrong it was a nice venue for the group but expected gaps in service. That wasn’t the case they took great care of us. Had a burger which a good pub grub meal. It was not amazing with flavor, but was cooked as I ordered, med rare.

Sports bar! It’s football season ya’ll and this is where you can find me for MNF. I haven’t been here when super busy, but whenever I have gone staff is attentive, helpful and generous! I’m really a big fan of their food. Fantastic wings, and CHARBROILED burgers! Big hit for me. ;) Prices are reasonable, they’ve got an extensive cocktail list, as well as many beers(draft & bottle), liquors, and wine! I noticed they have quite a few specials and happy hour. If you’re on the North side this is definitely the best sports bar around.

Wanted lunch and college football. Had been here during baseball season for drinks and decided to stop by today. Andra ate off the brunch menu, good but small portion and not quite to menu. I ate the chili cheese burger; different but very good. Sweeter chili and the ghost pepper cheese was a nice touch. Had open service so some were great others so so but overall not quite what you want… We will continue to go back but more for drinks at the bar in the future…

Have been here about four times since they opened last spring, with mixed results. As a food joint I’ve been pretty disappointed with my meals. I’ve had the pulled pork sandwich, hot wings, and burger; none of which have been impressive. On my last visit I ordered a side of fries that included a «fried fly» that resulted in me not finishing my food. Probably will not be eating here again unless some changes are made. As a bar, the drinks have been pretty affordable and well made. They seem to have specials on a regular basis, with a jalapeño margarita being one of my past favorites. With downtown lacking another real sports bar, I probably will end up here to watch sporting events in the future. Go for the bar, not for the food.

Went there for lunch and had the Old Fashion Burger and Waffle Fries. Presentation was great. Everything looked tasty. The waffle fries looked to be double fried? Maybe? I like the grill marks on the bun and the Paprika on the plate. Overall, it was just an average burger. It tasted good and I wouldn’t oppose to coming back, just won’t be my first choice for a burger. Especially down the street from Fat Guy’s. With it being an A-OK burger, the price could have been a little more enticing. It would be great to get a decent burger, including tip, for under $ 10. Keep it up, Lefty’s! I like the location and think this COULD be something great!

I got the Jamaican Jerk wings & they were ok. Their sauce was clumpy, I didn’t expect that, expected more like a glaze or rub. They were enough to enjoy. I got their waffle fries too, a must have. Also check for their drink specials, their martinis were good.

Really digging some things about this place. The food could be better on some dishes. The burgers don’t seem to be made of fresh beef which is a pet peeve of mine. More like frozen patties from Sam’s Club. I could be wrong. And, a server leaves an extinguished cigarette by the hostess stand. The staff could be more attentive and friendly as the server forgot our drinks with only 4 tables occupied. I ordered the Cous Cous Stirfry and the Brussel sprouts were hard as rocks. Like I said, some things are really good. Hope they improve soon.

I gave this place 3 stars because the drink selection is great and I happen to live in the building so it’s convenient. The food is very underwhelming and quite frankly, disgusting. Not appetizing at all. It looks like a child made this food. Whole slices of onion on nachos? In what world do these people live in where they have seen WHOLESLICESOFRAWONIONONNACHOS?! I am of Latin descent and I am kind of offended. TL;DR: Drinks are good but I would pass on the food.

Right next to the ballfield so is in a great spot for a relaxed evening with a crew. High ceilings, glass walls, good beer selection, and then there is the awesome Cherie who helped us navigate the menu. My college grad and I split the build a burger and chicken enchilada soup with a little kick. Everything was a perfect lunch event for my daughter and I.

Giving a 4 based on one short experience. Popped by for lunch w/hubby to indulge in their advertised«Midwestern pork Sandwich». Those of us who grew up in the corn field states well remember those hugely pounded sandwiches that hung 6″ outside the bun! Theirs did not. It was, however, very tasty. While perusing the huge restaurant I ran into an owner on the upper level who said he hoped we liked«their«version of the sandwich which included their own«mustard» sauce. Doubtful, I asked the waitress for theirs and regular yellow(classic for the sandwich) on the side. I believe I enjoyed their version better! Kinda of grainy w/a horseradish hit! Mac & cheese was just fine w/a good crispy cracker(panko) topping like it should! Everyone was friendly, our waitress was awesome. We will go back.

Really enjoying the newest addition to the Greenwood District at Lefty’s. Things are on the up-and-up for this new restaurant and bar. Amazing high quality TVs adorn the walls and gorgeous center bar. The 20 foot ceilings really add to the atmosphere and you can tell that this is a place you could plop down for three hours to watch a football game without feeling claustrophobic. The beer menu is awesome(any place with Prairie Bomb on tap is my kind of place) and they have a whole page of the menu just for different«mule» drinks. But where I see Lefty’s really taking the cake is with their private dining area. The second floor overlooks the entire bar and is perfectly situated for small group events(20 — 40 people). There are TVs up there that include gaming systems so you can bring the kids and actually have them play video games at the restaurant. A good solution for those post-generational meals where the kids start getting antsy while the old folks keep droning on and on about stock tips and whatnot. The food is great too — I’ve been good and gotten salads each time I went. I appreciate that there are lots of healthy options on Lefty’s menu. I had a great Caesar salad with huge romaine hearts and the Greenwood salad with apples, blue cheese, walnuts and raspberry vinaigrette. And I’ve ruined that healthy option with the irresistible waffle fries, split amongst friends. Their waffle fries are frickin’ great. Not too salty, very crisp, just awesome. I want to try more stuff on the menu so I can move this 4 star rating to a 5 start but I think that is going to happen soon. Great service, really comfortable place, it’s going to do really well!

What a great new spot. The vibe is cool and its perfect pre-game spot before the Tulsa Roughneck or Drillers Games. Specialty cocktails and delicious food! It has only been open a few weeks but I see a great future in store for Lefty’s!

Finally a sports bar downtown! In a great location to boot! Come in and watch some sports on their multiple TVs. They have a very nice beer selection as well. The service was very prompt and friendly despite being super busy. Great spot to come into after a Driller or Roughneck game to relax and catch up on any sports you missed that day. Do stop in.
