Lokal is a welcome addition to Brookside adding a unique bar atmosphere. I came for a drink on a Saturday night a couple weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised with all of the local drink options. I opted for a Marshalls beer and rounded the corner of the bar where there was live music. The trio of musicians were excellent; they created a fun atmosphere but didn’t blow up the place by turning up their amps.
There are lots of TVs around, cool wooden décor and a pool table. Seating is ample and I can’t wait to go back to give their brunch menu a try!

This is a great place! The drinks are delicious and well made, the staff is super friendly, and the food is great. The pretzels are the best I have ever had-​they come with this tasty mustard and beer cheese that makes it all so wonderful.
The brunch is fabulous-​I had the French toast with berries, and they were seriously the freshet blueberries I have ever tasted. I don’t know why more people don’t go here, it’s really great.

I wanted to love it because it’s so close to my house, and it sounded like the beer menu would be good; however it was terrible! The bartender was disinterested in telling us about the beers on tap, and basically refused to offer a recommendation. We had every intention on having dinner here, but changed our mind based on our interaction with the bartender. Cool space, great location, but you gotta get the right help!

I’ve been here twice now, and both times it has been pretty empty, but I’m not sure why, since the food is great and the beers are decent. Service from two different bartenders was friendly and attentive, and the Oktoberfest burger I had was one of the most interesting and tasty burgers I’ve had in Tulsa, to date. I would recommend people give to a try. I’ll be back.

First, I didn’t order food so my rating is purely for the bar. That being said, I’ve been there 3 times. They have a fair beer selection and some interesting mixed drinks. I mainly stick to beer, but the bloody maria was pretty good. 3 of the 4 stars is for the atmosphere. The staff has been really helpful and the general atmosphere is laid back. It’s great to have a place to meet up with friends in brookside that isn’t too loud or smoky. I especially love that the pool table has been open on each of my visits. Great hang out spot!

I got the Lōkal Breakfast Sandwich. Instead of the bread of choice, I got the waffles instead. I added the candied bacon (which I think they forgot to add) & their Maple Bourbon Butter.
The sandwich was REALLY good! Waffles, sausage, eggs & Gouda cheese. The maple bourbon butter was better than your average syrup. It was sweet & savory. The perfect balance. Also, I got the side of fruit, blackberries & strawberries. Can’t go wrong with that. I also had two mimosas, one with mango & the other with pineapple. I really wanted the peach but it wasn’t available at the time. They were also $ 2. Super deal!
A friend of mine ordered the French Toast & she couldn’t finish it so I had the opportunity to try it out as well. Another good option on the menu! They use brioche, which made sense to why it was so sweet & tasty.

Never coming back to this place. The bartender was horrible and in the worst mood ever. Maybe this is a cool place but I don’t ever want to come back if I will treated the way I was treated tonight
