the best mexican food I have tried! it’s authentic and good portion for the price. I usually drives 1 hr just to get tacos from them and it closes at midnight! Although they don’t have place to sit and eat there but I don’t mind with take out since their food is so good and authentic!

Great food if you like authentic Mexican food(which I do) but I don’t go here often just because of how far it is from me, there is no indoor seating and in the summer if you use their outdoor seating you have to deal with all the flys. If you want some really good authentic Mexican food to go this is the place!

Best authentic Mexican food in town. Assada tacos are the way to go. Half chicken, burrito, and tortas are very good also. However, when a place is named Mr. Tacos, get the Tacos.

I’m gonna take blame for not enjoying this. When it comes to authentic Mexican food spots as such, it’s best to order tacos. I mean, look at the name of the place for crying out loud. I got a Quesadilla Grande with chicken. It was a whole lot of food but it wasn’t satisfying my craving. It was smothered in cheese & sour cream along with lettuce. It was kind of messy as well. Their red sauce is super hot! Which wasn’t a bad thing because I like hot/spicy foods/sauces. If I plan on visiting again, I’ll definitely get tacos & leave whatever else is on the menu, alone.

Mr. Tacos! !! How much I love thee!!! I am from the awesome city of DALLAS, TEXAS and I frequent Mr. Tacos so often in Tulsa, Oklahoma, THEYKNOWME! Mr. Tacos is the BESTTHINGINOKLAHOMABESIDESMYFIANCEANDOKLAHOMASTATEUNIVERSITY! !! I ALWAYS get the carne asada tacos. …hmm mm(mouth watering)…The fiancé usually gets the carne asada nachos. The meat is just perfect… very seasoned and greasy… just like I like it! There is also crusty-ness to the meat at times that is filled with a salty flavor! Rice and beans make the oversized meal complete. Two people can share this dish… but I’m a fatty at times and just need it all to myself… not sure about how clean the place is. You really don’t see how your food is prepared so I just pray over it… Also a couple of my friends have gotten food poisoning there… but HEY! WONTSTOPMEFROMGOING! soooo…why the 4 stars? Waaaayyyyyy too much fat on the meat. After eating, I realize that half of my food was fat alone! Also this place isn’t very consistent. I’ve been to Mr tacos and the food just wasn’t that great… I can’t describe what was going on with it(that’s happened like 3 times in the two years I’ve been visiting this awesome place). Gotta try it! Hey! You might even run into me one day!

Excellent but sometimes a little too much fat and not enough meat. Asada Tacos are now $ 2.00

The«King» Burrito is too big. Seriously, I don’t care how hungry you are or how large you are — you should not be eating this much food in one sitting. That being said, I ate the entire thing. Why? It challenged me. It sat there giving off a delicious aroma, filling both of my hands. I was equipped with an afternoon movie and a recliner. I believe we were evenly matched. 1 hour later — I stood… err, sat victorious… and in pain. Now I challenge you, ladies and gentlemen. Eat it all; even the pieces that fall into your plate/tray/wrapper. Godspeed, you all!

I ordered the much talked about«king» burrito… platter(rice and beans). Meat meat meat… that’s ALL it was! I was definitely huge and with the amount of meat worth the money but I need more. Like shredded cheese, salsa, sour cream, guacamole, poco, cilantro… where was it??? I will go back because the quality was good but it won’t order the king burrito. I loved the rice and bean def recommend ordering it. The burrito was literally the size of an entire loaf of bread which that made it worth seven dollars.

Some of the best Authentic Mex in town. The Asada Tacos are a must. Also, don’t think that the Vapor Tacos are some strange, low calorie option; they’re actually made with brisket. Despite the fact that they aren’t actually made of mist, they aren’t anywhere near as flavorful as the Asada, so I’d skip them altogether. Another can’t-lose choice, is the Quesadilla Grande– absolutely outstanding and –like a lot of their menu items– it’s HUGE. The largest thing on the menu however, would be the burrito(king, or otherwise). I can envision them rolling out a three foot wide tortilla to make these monsters. The thing looks like a baby in swaddling clothing. You can expect to hear lots of: «Congratulations!» followed by, «Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t realize it was just a King Burrito». Mr. Tacos is open super late, especially on the weekends(3am). There’s outdoor seating only, and they now take credit cards!!! Go see what all the fuss is about; it’s super worth it.

I’m hungry. Really hungry. Let’s hit up Mr. Tacos! It’s like a trailer, only better, no wheels! Tacos pastor are hot but full of flavor. Asada is always a perfect pick but you could get whatever meat from any part of the cow you could think of. But really the best idea of all is to just order the Tortas Grande and don’t look back. That SOB is so damn good. There is no better way to enjoy the equivalent of Rhinoceros fetus than in the form of a Mr. Tacos Torta. Dump a whole container of green sauce on it and fluff your pillow, you will be sound asleep in about 45 minutes. Drive through or walk-up windows only. Picnic tables and a shelter are about as dine-in as this joint gets.

Good food served al fresco, or to-go only. There is no inside seating available. They have just begun accepting credit cards. The prices are kind of on the high side, but the portions are large, and the quality is high. There is a selection of about 16 different meats available, from pastor, and barbacoa, to cabeza(cheek), to lengua(tongue meat) to a multitude of others. My wife and I both had the taco platter. Which consists of 5 small torilla shells, smothered in chopped meat, served with a side of refried beans, and spanish rice. My wife could only finish half of it, before she was full, and I only finished about 65% of it. I agree with those who said the horchata was very tasty.

Quality and authenticity are hallmarks here. It’s low on ambience, but high on really good Mexican food. My favorites include the carnitas, and the carne asada. The king burrito is massive, and not to be trifled with. Good selection of Mexican soft drinks, including the prized coca-cola bottled and imported from south of the border. The location, and set-up may not appeal to some(al fresco dining only), but that’s ok, since it keeps the line shorter at the order window. Although word is out on this tiny northside taco stand. Bring cash, and an open mind — you’ll be happy.

While I never been to Mexico, I’m pretty surprised that I found a Mexican food place in Oklahoma that I like better than places in California. The carne asada tacos are one of my favorites. The king burrito is huge, but I actually like the tacos better. I didn’t give this place 4 stars cause as much as I like it, I really can’t eat it too often. It makes my heart feel slower from all the fat. Still good food though.

Might want to bring a trailer to his place to take away your burrito. The thing has to be the biggest burrito in town, and one of the best. the spicy pork was awesome. My friend who came complained because he had too much meat in his… This is the first burrito i couldn’t finish, but it was that good that i didn’t want to stop eating it.

Mr Taco is located just a little North of I-244 and Lewis. The restaurant is either drive-thru or walk up to the window. It may not be all that pleasing to the eye, but Mr Taco’s just happens to make one of the largest burritos in town. While the area may be a bit ugly, its prime territory for fantastic Mexican food. I always feel like I am on a quest to go here. I always pass it, maybe because I am always distracted by the Mexican dance club«Disco Rodeo» across the street. I always begin to wonder about the name«Disco Rodeo» and find myself several blocks past Mr Tacos. Never-the-less my quest lead my to Mr Tacos and the«King Burrito» knighted me with sour cream sauce. The King Burrito is usually what I get. A Giant tortilla stuffed with tons of beef, lettuce, onion, and green pepper topped with a sour cream sauce and slices of American Cheese. Slices of American Cheese? Yeah, I don’t get it either, but it works. You get a side of green chile sauce as well. I have never been able to finish one of these beasts, its so big. I would have to guess the King Burrito is about 14 inches long. The«King Burrito» isn’t the best burrito in town. The tortilla is always fresh, the sour cream sauce with the American Cheese slices on top actually tastes pretty good. The beef is seasoned well, but the entire burrito doesn’t have a lot of flavor with out the green chile sauce. So if you go add some green chile sauce, but not too much it will light you up, and enjoy. Mr Tacos is worth the trip to see, it is pretty cool place and always reminds me of the scene at «Admiral Twin» theater from movie«Outsiders» when I go here.
