My favorite taco truck in T-town. The specialty here is the grilled chicken. The ½ chicken is about $ 10 and comes with rice and beans plus tortillas. The chicken is moist and tender, whatever they use to marinate it is tasty. My favorite items here are the tacos de alambre and the taco pirata. Alambre tacos are made with ham, bacon, and steak with melted cheese and onions and cilantro. The taco pirata is a larger size taco consisting of steak and melted cheese. The verde sauce at this place is amazing. Really good taste with the type of heat that wont burn your mouth but will heat you up. Pollos al Carbon offers hot fresh food at an affordable price with friendly service. I eat here at least twice a week. Yummy!

This is the best taco stand in town. You know how a lot off them are very similar, well this one has few things that stand out. The chicken is better than any other taco truck. Its marinated on something that tenderizes and lends it a great flavor. The barbacoa one of the best I’ve had. A slight up charge but def worth it. And finally the salsa Verde is the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Try it, you won’t be disappointed. Staff speaks English well.

I’ve eaten many different taco stands and restaurants around town and this is by far one of my favorites. Right next to the highway, the food truck is surrounded by a barbared wire fence. I’ve ordered several items off of the menu. They have a whole roasted chicken dinner, along with the typical burritos, tacos, and quesadillas. They do have a mexican hamburger where they place a grilled sausage, avocado along with along mexican fixin’ on top. It was decent, I ordered it just to give it a try. My favorite item is the alambre taco which is grilled ham and bacon with cheese. A delicious taco. They also offer an avocado based salsa that I enjoy. It is spicy, but the burn is worth it. Red sauce is also offered if that’s what you prefer. They also offer a corn tamale which is the perfect amount of sweet to end the meal. A great dessert. They do take credit card– but they charge a 1.50 fee. All in all a great place to come and eat. They have a couple tables to the side, but it looks like most people take the food to-go.
