Weird shopping center. Excellent fresh food. Really amazing flavors together. Especially the Pink Lady. Even had pineapple and strawberry.

I wanted to try this place when it first opened but I was so skeptical of how I feel about a sushi place in that strip location. We finally decided to try it tonight and OMG it was worth it! Ordered the dynamite, firecracker, tiger, Texas, ninja rolls. Since we spent $ 60 we received the lobster roll FREE! And I’m all about the free food especially if it’s SUSHI! Such a sweet place! They said they are changing up the menu with Korean dishes and I can’t wait to venture back!

It’s hard to find good sushi in Tulsa. I feel like I’ve been on a quest to find it. This place was pretty good. We had the Tokyo Tower(not a roll), OSU, dynamite, and one more roll my companion ordered, the name I don’t remember. The best eat was the Tokyo Tower, which was a delicious construction of sushi and rice piled about 5 inches high. It was tasty. The other rolls we ordered were decent. Since we ordered over 60 dollars of sushi, we were gifted a free lobster roll, which was by far the most delicious roll. This place had serious hospitality. It was slow and they gave us free desert, two pieces of what I like to call«sushi cake.» It was a battered and fried cream and chocolate puffs with some powdered sugar thrown in. It was soooo good. I don’t know if it’s on the menu all the time, but I’d come back for that. Overall my takeaway was decent sushi. This is the best I’ve had so far in Tulsa.

Fresh food & friendly staff! I’m from the Pacific Northwest where the fish is always fresh, so I’m a bit of a sushi snob. When I moved to Tulsa, I was afraid that the sushi just wouldn’t compare. I was so happy when I discovered The Sushi House! I love their spicy tuna rolls! Still exploring their list of rolls. If you want quality sushi and don’t care about price point, eat here! Additionally, I have to mention their very friendly staff. I am always greeted promptly, and service is quick. Thank you Sushi House for your delicious food & great staff!

Love this place, amazing rolls(we got fried rolls and spicy tuna) you can tell they know what they are doing. Best sushi in Tulsa. We come all the way from Sapulpa to eat here.

First time having a real lobster roll for $ 13(I thought I was going to be crawfish instead) Not the best sushi but I give 5 stars for the good price.

Best sushi in Oklahoma!!! You can tell they pay huge attention to detail because the presentations are fabulous. The owner is always greeting everyone with a smile. The have no culinary background, so they are self taught… we had to ask! The Volcano Roll is a must try… very different than every other spicy mayo concept. The TU Roll is also a must try… the best deprived roll on the market. The restaurant is very clean, and they make the sushi right in front of you… when was the last time you saw a chef wearing gloves… they do here. We will be frequent visitors at the best sushi place in Tulsa!!!

Wow. I usually go to the chain Sushi restaurants but this house takes the prize. Actually I got the prize. Complimentary roll, and the manager even dropped us a complimentary dessert! The rolls were great! I got 3 different rolls and shrimp tempura appetizer for $ 50. I can’t wait to be back. Great Service, Great management, great owner.

It should have been a clue when my family and I walked in and we were only one of two sets of patrons. There is a reason why no one comes to this place. The service was prompt so that is why this place gets the one and only star I will award them. Our waitress was pleasant and speedy. Then again she didn’t have many customers. At any rate, I proceeded to order the tempura calamari to start. First of all, I grew up on the coast with daily and easy access to seafood so I know what seafood SHOULD taste like. I make this statement only to lend credence to this review. What came to the table was not calamari. Calamari doesn’t look like mozzarella sticks perfectly cut in equal size, and it certainly doesn’t taste like pig’s butt. It was chewy and disgusting, so much so that I had to spit it out and tell my son to do the same. I don’t know where this place gets their calamari but it is not from the ocean! I couldn’t bear the thought of eating anything else so I promptly paid my tab and went elsewhere… I didn’t even finish my wine which is a rarity for me.

While some may be trepidatious visiting this establishment because of it’s strip mall location, those people would be missing out on some of the best priced and freshest sushi in town. I’ve eaten here twice, but have ordered sushi to go from them on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed. Interior is clean and the staff are very friendly. The menu offers more than just sushi and offers the standard teriyaki dishes, but also some rarely found items like seafood ramen. The bento boxes that are available at lunch are fantastic and are probably one of the best bargains in town. You start with a small ball of edamame and then a bowl of miso soup. After picking your protein, your box is assembled and comes with a salad with any extremely tasty ginger dressing, a piece of shrimp tempura, a spring roll and four pieces of a California roll. This last visit I opted for the sushi combo bento($ 14.95) which came with 4 generous pieces of sashimi and 3 pieces of nigiri. Was a bit disappointed that there wasn’t much variety in the chef choice, but that’s the nature of the beast when ordering a lunch special. There list of rolls is extensive and offer a pleasant variety and combos. Best of all they aren’t all just variations of a California roll or something with cream cheese in it. If you get 3 rolls you get a Fuji roll for free. Manage to make it rain and spend over $ 60 you get a free Lobster or a fuji roll.

OK, it’s in a strip mall… It looks sketchy but… It’s the food that counts and the food is really impressive. The décor inside is fine– simple contemporary Japanese. You aren’t paying for ridiculous rent and silly indoor waterfalls. The service is quick and attentive. The selection of rolls is fantastic. The nigri is on par with some of the best I’ve ever had(eaten at Nobu five times and Umami in San Fran three). This is some of the best I’ve had anywhere and better than anything in Tulsa or the midwest. It’s fresh. It’s expertly prepared and… It’s cheap. 3 rolls(4th one was free), wine and beer– $ 55. Hard to beat. We wi be back and wear out our welcome.

Sushi House was a perfect family dinner outing location. It’s relaxed and casual atmosphere made us feel OK bringing our 4 month old along. We were greeted warmly and had excellent service. I opted for the vegas roll — it was the first fried sushi roll I’ve ever had… and certainly won’t be the last! The flavors were fresh and unique; so much in fact I didn’t use hardly any soy sauce! The sushi menu here is among the largest I’ve seen; something for everyone! Reasonable prices and authentic sushi will make this a frequent spot for me and my fam!

Really good quality fish here. I got the combo bento lunch box. The Sashimi and Nigiri were both fantastic. The california roll was good too. The salad had a very flavorful ginger based dressing as well. The only downside really is the price is a bit high IMO.

We were the only people there on a Saturday night at 7pm, so I was a little nervous at first. We had Sapporo and Hot Sake. I ordered the Calamari and it was good– but not anything amazing. Then I had the Texas Roll. Holy Moly, I can’t wait to have it again! BESTSUSHI in town, hands down. And, it’s very reasonable. The rolls seem larger than normal. I can’t wait to go back! I really recommend this place.

I wasn’t too sure what to make of the shopping center, but this place is a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere is very nice and casual. The food was great and servers are very accommodating and attentive. Prices are reasonable, and they brought a third roll for free which was delicious. My son absolutely loved his rolls and miso; I enjoyed mine too. They did a great job setting up their space. The gong on the way out the door is fun. We will definitely be back soon.

I had to drop my opinion by 2 whole stars due to inconsistent service, experience, and food quality that appears to be connected to a change in staff. The price was fair before the previosly mentioned decline. There’s nothing special about a mediocre sushi experience. This was my go to spot for dining until now.

Update: still love this place. Especially since they started running so many specials. Order three rolls, get the Fuji roll free. Order $ 60, get a free lobster roll. So today, we got free Fuji roll and mini tempura cheesecake bites! 09⁄2015 Pros: Why aren’t more people eating here? Tasty and incredibly affordable. We don’t go anywhere else for sushi. Cons: Inconsistent, but always tasty. There are times when this place follows all the rules for what sushi snobs consider good sushi(correct rice temperature, balance of flavors, textures, etc.). Then there are times when they are just like all the other places in town? Either way, the food tastes good and its the correct price point.

We went for lunch. Did not get lunch specials but they have a sushi special of buy 3 rolls and get a free Fuji roll. The Fuji roll is not too complex but not a simple Cali roll either. Lunch came w a side of edamame and miso soup. Rolls were good, reasonable priced and tons of options. We also got a side of fried rice. It was definite worth $ 3.95 and a reasonable portion. Same owners as the one in BA.
