Well let me start by saying that this place has been rebranded and is no longer called Bowl of Heaven. It’s known as Bowlieology or something and the menu has changed. I was a bit disappointed because I really wanted to try Bowl of Heaven, but either way I decided to give it a try. I ordered the regular sized Hula bowl with acai which is: Blend: Acai, peaches, pineapple, mango, banana, and almond milk Toppings: strawberry, banana, coconut, granola, and honey First, I believe the size of the cup should be bigger because they fill it to the top to the point where you can barely even scoop out the blend with the toppings. Second, if it wasn’t for me reading a previous review before I got my order, I would have not noticed that the employee also forgot the coconut shavings on my order as well. Third, the consistency of the blend is okay, but it doesn’t even compare to other acai bowl locations I’ve tried. All in all, I’m not a fan of this location and I don’t think I’ll be back. I gave it two stars though because the employee was warm and welcoming

I will never recommend this place to any of my friends. I ordered the hula bowl because it should have coconut as the topping which was my favorite. But where is my coconut? I didn’t see any of them and didn’t taste a bit at all! I posted my picture and you can see there is no coconut at all. Besides that, I didn’t taste acai and this place was over priced.

I don’t really understand how this is called an acai bowl? It’s not even the right color. The peach and mango completely overpower any kind of taste and they use maybe a spoonful of actual acai. Never returning and a WASTE of $ 8.

Ordered North Shore. Was pretty good but found pieces of plastic in it, they got stuck in my teeth. Looked like part of a plastic spoon or something similar. Probably won’t go back to this particular location.

After watching a movie decided to stop in and finally try their Acai bowls. Typical juice bar set up inside however the service was faster and a bit more fluid than others I’ve been too. The guy that took our order(drawing a blank on his name) was very knowledgable and detailed on everything and what worked well together and didn’t. I got the Paradise Bowl which was well worth the stop inside. Highly recommended.

I started having health issues because I used to skip breakfast and sometimes I forgot to have lunch lol I am a very busy girl haha After trying many places with no luck I found this amazing place! The best thing I could have found! Almost every morning I go there, get my ginger shot(the best one out there!) and then I get my Acai bowl(«Red Zinger» with strawberries on top and sometimes extra chocolate) It’s so delicious!!! The reason I go to work happy hahaha Dianne and Alice are the best ones here! Super friendly and helpful. I always order through the app so I can just go pick it up, and the only reason I deducted a star from the review is because if it’s not one of these girls making it, my bowl is almost half less the product, the toppings are pretty messy and they always forget what I asked to have extra(and which I payed for). So yeah, every morning I just pray it’s one of them making my bowl so the rest of my days goes on perfectly! :) I have to drive 1hr to get to work so… pretty good deal for me get this right! I also wished they opened at least an hour earlier! 10am, is almost lunch by the time I order, pick up, and go back to the office haha

Initially, I was going to give it 3 stars(deducting 2 stars for the high price and their stinginess with fruits) but the more I look at other Unilocalers’ pictures, the more I realize how much they cheated me. Hence, the 2 stars. I ordered the regular sized Sunset bowl and had a few tiny pieces of strawberries and kiwis. If there’s a shortage on strawberries, let the customers know and allow them the option to substitute it for other fruits or add other fruits to provide the same serving as before(and free of charge). Instead, this place just charges the same price and give 75% less fruits. They charge $ 7.99 for a regular size and $ 9.99 for a large. Most places give at least 50% more when they charge $ 7.99 for a bowl. Price and lack of fruits aside, the bowl was actually pretty good. I love acai bowls and eat them regularly. I was really ecstatic to have this place close to me but unfortunately, I will most likely not set foot here again due to these two deal breakers. Fix my issues so I can be a regular!

Located inside the the District(park near the back side of the district where Blue Water Fish Grill is) Why I love Bowl of Heaven: + Solid SERVICE(5⁄5) — whether it is at this location or the one in Newport — the staff is amazing + Price is around $ 7-$ 10+) but the portion is a lot bigger than some other places We had the: + S U N S E T B O W L($ 10): This bowl is topped with Organic Hemp Flax Seed Granola, Coconut, Fresh Strawberries, Fresh Kiwis, and Honey. The smoothie part inside is blended with Pineapple, Mango, Strawberries, Unsweetened Coconut Milk. It was not too sweet; super filling; love that they use coconut milk!(5⁄5)

Love bowl of heaven! My favorite is the north shore original with extra strawberry topping. Little sad tho that there’s a «shortage» and they over did the bananas in the recipe today. Still pretty good but tastes like baby food Overall, had good experiences here! They even sent me a coupon for $ 5 off for my birthday. Get more strawberries and I’d go more often!

Great spot to get an acai bowl, green juice, and/or smoothie in The District! First-time students at the yoga studio next to it(Caffe Yoga) get a coupon for a free acai bowl at Bowl of Heaven, which makes for a great day of healthy eats + yoga!

so i got the north shore original acai bowl or whatever its called. tastes exactly like the costco berry smoothie. this place is slightly more expensive then other places. they dont have a good variety of extras plus they are more expensive. i like that they had 3 different sizes. its a cool place but i dont need to pay $ 7.99 for a costco smoothie lol

First time here and my experience was wonderful ! The crew was a big help, I had no idea what to order, so the cashier gave me a sample and and explained the Acai Bowls. I tried the butter blend, which was delicious ! defiantly recommend trying it. Thanks for the great service ! I’ll be back(:

Came here on a Saturday early afternoon and it was pretty empty. The girls working there were very nice and helpful! I decided to get the north shore they recommended since it’s their most popular but I added kale and spinach to it. While the taste of the bowl was on point, the consistency was too watery :/ I’ve tried many acai bowl places and I felt like I should’ve been drinking the bowl like a smoothie rather than eating it It’s also on the pricier side so I didn’t feel like it’s worth the value

First off, it can be a bit expensive but it’s so worth it! It’s healthy and provides energy for most of the day. Second off, a very small palm sized cup is about $ 3.75 and larger ones range from $ 7 and up. For example, the cup I had was too small for my liking but it had acai, bananas, blueberries, honey, granola, etc. It’s pretty healthy and super good!!! *thumbs up*

My favorite bowls here are the North Shore and the Peanut Butter. They both taste super healthy and makes a great snack during my day. NORTHSHORE. Must. Have. The North Shore is the perfect blend of fruits(acai, strawberry, blueberries, and banana) topped with fresh bananas and honey. PEANUTBUTTER. I don’t normally like peanut butter with my fruits, but their PB acai bowl is AMAZING! **HUGE thanks to Matt for making me these bowls of heaven!** GINGERSHOT. If you’re in for a healthy kick, this is the way to go! I felt it in me long after I took my shot. Great way to start my morning. GREENGLORY. I’ve always been scared of my mom’s «grass» smoothies, but this juice completely changed my mind about drinking vegetables. It’s very refreshing because of the cucumber and lemon inside, but everything else in it tastes great too!

I decided to give this place a try after I ate a sample of their North Shore Original. I took a long time deciding on what to order but the cashier was really polite and patient. I decided on the medium size sunset bowl with green plant protein from recommendation of the server. I was watching while she made my bowl and noticed that they didn’t add any other sweeteners, but only the juices and fruit listed on the menu which is a plus :) The bowl was yummy! I love coconut and tropical fruits so this was the perfect bowl for me. The portions are really big as well, I couldn’t finish it on my own. The store looks clean and has a modern feel to it. However, it gets really loud when they make the bowls so I would suggest eating outside. Overall, great service and great bowls. Personally i think it tastes better than nekter. Ill have to try their smoothies next time.

I work nearby Bowl of Heaven so when they were gearing up for their Grand Opening, we got free vouchers to try their acai bowl! I have only tried their North Shore Acai Bowl, it’s delicious that I have yet to try any of their other flavors.(I’m a creature of habit) And to make things better, the employees there are always cheerful and quick! It was super hot yesterday, and I decided to try their juices. I had the«GREENGLORY» and it was surprisingly really good & refreshing!(Apple, cucumber, celery, kale, lemon, parsley) Although it was a tad bit on the pricier side,(almost $ 6 for a small) I would definitely come back for it! Also, they have HAPPYHOUR from 5 – 7 pm during weekdays where Acai Bowls and Smoothies are 50% off!

I was looking for a place to have lunch and to chat with a friend at the district area today but was not feeling super hungry. We stumbled across Bowl of Heaven and I decided to try out one of their acai bowls. The lady who worked there told me that the north shore was the most popular but I ended up getting the Popeye because it was the same as the north shore except with veggies in it as well. Let me just tell you… the Popeye I got truly was a bowl of heaven!!! I LOVED my bowl and would come back here to get more. I was worried that the acai blended part would taste icy and watery like what I’m used to but It was really good with lots of fruity flavor. I don’t really give 5 star reviews because something REALLY has to impress me. Today, not only did I finish my Acai bowl while not even hungry to begin with, but I also wanted more when my bowl was gone.

Whenever I’m at the district or feel like eating a healthy dessert, I would come here. The juices aren’t that great and the prices don’t justify it. I got the Tropicana(strawberry, orange, kiwi) and all I tasted was the orange juice. I really like the acai bowls here and I liked it. I thought the North Shore was nicely blended and flavorful. Just come here for the acai bowl.

The latest addition to the healthy juice/smoothies/acai bowls craze in Tustin. We received a couple of their BOGO coupons in the mail so we decided to check it out. We’ve tried a couple of different things from their menu actually and I think I can safely say that while Bowl of Heaven is good, it’s not the best I’ve had for their steep prices. The best thing on their menu is their best seller: the North Shore Acai Bowl. Their acai is BLENDEDWITH Strawberries, Bananas, Blueberries, and Apple Juice. So what you’re tasting isn’t full acai so it comes off tasting more like a really thick smoothie. It is then topped with organic hemp flax seed granola, fresh banana, and honey. It is a generous size though and pretty tasty. I’ve also tried their Sunset Tart Acai Bowl. Once again, it is BLENDEDWITH Pineapple, Mango, Strawberries, Unsweetened Coconut Milk. I didn’t really like the flavor of this one as much. It didn’t go too well together especially when topped with organic hemp flax seed granola, coconut, fresh strawberries, fresh kiwis, and honey. I’ve also tried two of their smoothies. Berry Blast(Açaí, Bananas, Strawberries, Blueberries, Apple Juice) and Popeye Blast(Açaí, Strawberries, Pineapple, Blueberries, Apple Juice, Bananas, Fresh Kale, Fresh Spinach). It basically tastes just like what is in their acai bowls and the consistency is the same too which means that it is virtually impossible to drink through a straw. You’re going to need a spoon for these smoothies. I visited them because I had the coupons, and after several visits, I can say that unless I had another coupon for them, I probably won’t be making a return visit. They take forever making your bowls and smoothies and the flavors just don’t work well for me since I’m a huge fan of not having my acai blended with a lot of other fruits. 3⁄5

Be sure to note the difference between toppings and blends on the menu; I ordered the North Shore Original thinking there would be strawberries on top but its actually blended with the acai. Located in the Tustin District next to Flame Broiler and Claire’s, I feel like this place is trying to hop onto the acai bowl trend but it’s a little too late. Nothing very special about it, I still prefer Barefoot Bowls because they have more toppings and variety, and their bowls taste fresher. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here, I will probably only be back if I’m in the area and it’s convenient.

Came upon this place on accident… So glad I did! Got regular Sunset and a large Popeye. Both are delicious and healthy. Both got granola on the bottom of bowl. Filled with love… Popeye: love the banana on top. Not to ripe either. So good. Sunset: Love the fresh fruit on top. Love the unsweetened coconut. Goodness overall… Staff here are friendly, helpful and wonderful. Place is clean. They got item for sale in the front too. Gotta come back and try their smoothies and other bowl option. Will come back! Totally recommend this place.

I’ve been eyeing this location for what seems like MONTHS and they finally opened this past Thursday. The District at Tustin Legacy is definitely getting a lot of cool new spots for a commercial plaza. With the Union Market opening with small, neat storefronts like Portola Coffee Lab and Drinkjuicery, the acai bowl/smoothie craving is finally here with Bowl of Heaven. I came on a lazy midday afternoon and there was a girl upfront handing out free acai bowl coupons, which were good to use later on. I decided to come on in right then and there and treat myself. Most acai bowl places I know serve bigger portions with steep prices, but it was cool to see this place has Small, Medium and Large cup sizes(almost like an ice cream place but larger for your typical acai bowl). The North Shore Bowl was DELICIOUS. Their acai blend is very fresh and sweet – the blend was just perfect. The crispy granola on top with a humble amount of bananas topped with a honey nectar-like glaze was just perfect as well. The Small was a perfect small-treat portion – like an ice cream scoop but WAY healthier and less guilt-ridden. I’ve always been a fan of acai bowls, but Bowl of Heaven is just DELICIOUS. Quality taste serving up a great variety. I love my Popeye so I ought to come back to try that one here. But, welcome to the District, Bowl of Heaven!(Funny story: I had applied to work for you many months ago, but then you said you were«full”/already staffed… About time you are opening!) I expect you to have a successful run here!

West Tustin just became a whole hell of a lot cooler. The District at Tustin Legacy has been really upgrading their offerings as of late with the addition of Portola Coffee Lab, J. Zhou and perhaps most importantly(at least for this Unilocaler) Bowl of Heaven. I have been their faithful patron at the Newport Bluffs location for almost a year now and was delighted to see they opened a location within a few short miles from my home. In fact, I felt as if I won something! My all time favorite meal replacement when I am «behaving» has to be their Popeye Bowl. It is wonderful as a breakfast, lunch or post workout revitalizer and features Organic Açaí, Strawberries, Pineapples, Blueberries, 100% Apple Juice, Bananas, Kale, Spinach and«MAQ7», a super fruit additive. Its moniker could not be more perfect, it really does taste like heaven in a bowl. Simple, fresh and delicious. Not in the mood for a bowl or on the run? They have you covered. The Popeye Blast is basically the same ingredient list but comes in a smoothie format. They also offer Juices, Granola and Powdered Protein but it is the Popeye Bowl and Smoothie that keeps me coming back any chance I get. Welcome to the neighborhood Bowl of Heaven, we are so stoked to have you here!
