ITS TIME TO SPEAK UP
I can’t stand to read all you whiners berate a good buffet. My husband and I come here every week and sometimes twice a week. We always get excellent service and never want for anything.
I sometimes may not understand what my waiter says because of the accent but I give him credit that he knows 2 languages and I only know English.
We live by the beach and travel a fair distance to eat here so we go out of our way because we think it’s worth it.
We love the variety and my favorite is the sole in oyster sauce.

Food SUCKS! Got me SICK! Waitress spilled food on me, had stained my blouse, then was sick over night. They gave me no discount after complaining to their manager in regards to the spilled food, now i have to buy another blouse they had trashed the back side of it. DONT GO THERE it not worth it. Guarantee you that. Waitress in unfriendly. Maybe they had just hired this new waitress incompetent.

Best chinese food in town ! Szechuan, Hunan && Cantonese cuisine. Open from 11:00 AM– 9:00 PM Mon– Sun Perfect for family gatherings food is amazing

YES, FOOD POISONING
If you like LOTS of bad (as in spoiled) re-​purposed food, this is the place for you.
Decided to try this place for the 1^st time today as my dentist is nearby & I needed some lunch. Looked at the buffet 1^st & it looked clean & tasty. (Wow, was I wrong) — so decided to stay. I 1^st took just small bites of several items, to see what I liked:
1 pc California Roll: OK
1 pc Caterpillar Roll: took a bite — clearly spoiled, VERY sour; spit in into a napkin.
I took several boiled shrimp that were on ice, looked good, simple, clean: cleaned & ate 1 shrimp: had zero flavor, was VERY water logged & had the taste of boiled shrimp that had been soaking in water overnight — or several days. Spit it out into a napkin. (when the server took my plate & saw all the uneaten shrimp on the plate, she gave me dirty look)
1 pc of shrimp that looked like «Boiling Crab» shrimp: kind of reddish, they called it «salt shrimp.» Looked good. Started to peel away the shell & the insides disintegrated — mush — literally –just mush that I could rub between my fingers like mashed potatoes. Clearly, the shrimp was OLD & had begin to decay. (It was room temperature when I 1^st took it — noticed it was not kept either hot or cold). I spit it out.
1 bite of a white fish with oyster sauce: VERY salty & slimy. Spit it out
1 bite of mushroom chicken that looked good & fresh — VERY salty, HEAVY beef flavoring — kinda like Kitchen Bouquet– (likely to mask the rot). Spit it out.
Had by now decided I would NEVER eat here again — decided to at least have a salad:
Looked at the salad bar: baby carrots ON TOP were grey with thick discoloration; several «grey» carrots had split open from aging — no kidding. Couldn’t believe they would actually serve this. I took some lettuce & 2 cucumber slices. Blue cheese dressing was good; lettuce was fresh. Ate 1 cucumber — OK. Took a bite of the 2^nd cucumber & it was sour– SPOILED. Spit it out. Clearly, they are mixing fresh with old — a real restaurant no-​no.
Went back to look again at the buffet to figure out what the heck they were doing — & it was clear. The sushi (fish) is NOT being kept cold; & they are re-​purposing their old, uneaten food. God knows how old it really is.
When I left I literally got 2 blocks before I desperately needed a bathroom. 4 hours & 2 Imodium later I can finally sit here without stomach pain or other «challenges.»
I’ll be reporting this to the OC Health Dept.

My friend suggest to go this place yesterday. I was surprised. I been to others buffets and for the majority their floors look dirty and food doesn’t taste good.
This china buffet was different. Food was tastefully, floors clean and waitress always cleaning our table.

.HELL.
I worked very close to this restaurant for about 16 years and had lunch there probably 3 or 4 times. It was always ok — decent price, unlimited food, fair representation of Chinese food. Well, my friend suggested we try it for dinner tonight. I hadn’t been in probably 6 years or so. NEVER AGAIN! What they were serving was true slime on a shingle. Not fit for human consumption. At $ 13.49 for dinner, they’ve got to be kidding. Souplantation is cheaper and far more healthy and safe. Even Hometown Buffet is a step up. The food was just inedible. The only safe item was the watermelon. If you look over at the cooking area, you can see that they don’t cook anything — they just open containers and shovel it into the respective bins. All of the employees do appear Chinese — and I know the Chinese can cook. I also thought they took pride in their offerings, but not here. This is a fairly decent establishment (from the outside) in a nice part of Tustin, too. I’m not one to cause small businesses to close but I felt I had to say something. I’m struggling to get to bed this evening without vomiting up what I did eat. Why, oh WHY was the dining room so full, I have to wonder? These people have no clue. Wow. Still stunned, hours after my meal.

BYOD — bring your own drink. The food is good for a buffet but it’s just not that enjoyable when it takes 15 minutes into your meal to get a drink.

FOOD POISONING
This place is the pits the food is disgusting and the venue is dirty. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my in-​laws or worst enemy. Growing up in Tustin I have always been curious about this place but hands down it sux! Not to mention I ate some avocado California roll’s the next day I was violently sick with chills, abdominal cramps, nausea and diarrhea. Clear signs of food poisoning! I URGE ALL CUSTOMERS TO STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE! AND IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE 0 STARS I WOULLD!

Food was cold, old and hard. Sushi had a really bad after taste, and I was worried about eating the salmon. Honestly, I came here with an open mind after seen the 2.5 review, and decided to give it a try; however, Now I regret coming here. :(

Lately their food sucks. This was our familys favorite buffet, the shrimp used to be awesome. Now, its always really cold, over cooked, and it tastes horrible. The rest of their food isnt what it used to be either, they really have to do something about this or they will run out of business. It always used to be packed and lately it hasnt.

I was kind of worried when I saw that this place has 2.5 stars on Unilocal,but overall my experience wasn’t that bad.
I feel like a lot of the food was hit-​or-​miss. The majority of the food I had wasn’t that bad, but others left me feeling a little weird after the first bite, or it was drenched in sauce. I took a look at the sushi, and a lot of it looked like it was left out for a while, so I decided to avoid that.
The service was okay as well. I glanced up at one of the workers, and he was full on picking his nose. Like. Why. Also, we felt rushed out.
In the end, if you’re looking for a cheap dinner buffet, you probably won’t have a bad experience. Hopefully.

This was by far the worst food I’ve ever had. I thought it was a joke. The orange chicken was the worst. It was soggy and gross. I tired a bit of everything but nothing taste quite right. This place needs to be on Kitchen Nightmares! The waiters also didn’t know any English but were very attentive and refilled the drinks fast. Save your money! Grossss!

OK, food-​snob people! This is a lowly all-​you-​can-​eat Chinese restaurant. You get tons of food, including sushi for the low price of $ 13.00 per person for dinner. The sushi alone would have cost you over $ 30.00 at a normal Japanese restaurant. Were you expecting gourmet Chinese foods?! Were you expecting great service?! The food was fresh simply because they have a high volume of customers which keeps the food rotating. The food was also kept hot which is a plus. I have eaten here about 5 times and never gotten sick.

I haven’t been to this place in a long while until today. I saw many low star reviews so I was a little worried. But I came with a few coworkers for lunch anyway.
This is another typical Chinese Buffet place, nothing too special, but I thought their stuff is not as bad as those 1~2 star reviews.
Usually quality goes down when there is a change of ownership. But this place is still owned by the same people as my previous visits years ago. Servers may have changed, but the main lady at the pit remains the same as before.

Never ever ever coming back here again all food was cold, crusty, salty, bland, and soggy no consistensy over cooked shrimp. and they had no coconut shrimp lol save ur self the drive n go to the one on harbor n garden grove instead

My lady and I have dined here two times and they have been enjoyable experiences. The admission price is reasonable and the service is solid. The food is fresh and the selection is excellent. The food is replaced often and is always warm. The dining room is large and well lit. The interior design is alright and the atmosphere is comfortable. Service is always great and I love getting my refills! I highly recommend.

Rats. I regret not taking pictures but yes I saw TWO Rats by the back kitchen door as I left the restaurant. I feel sick to my stomach. I wish I can give zero stars. EAT Here At your own risk.

How much noodles and orange chicken can you have? Well this place did have some variety def not a top favorite but good if you want a variety of sides not just the average 2 – 3 items like traditional spots.
Fresh fruit was my favorite!

Stay away from the seafood. 3 of us went for dinner then 3 of us went for the bathroom. It’s your basic buffet if your looking to just be full. Don’t expect to eat your money’s worth, you will just end up shitting it out within the hour.

Extremely overpriced for what was available. Nothing in the buffet was particularly good almost everything was greasy and Mostly fried foods they did not even have a staple like chicken chowmein. Was $ 28.00 for two of us at lunch time 1PM. Will NOT be returning anytime ever. Extremely overpriced and greasy food.
The sushi tasted very fishy and not very fresh tasting at all. The salmon sushi was discolored showing the salmon they were using was a low grade fish possibly not even of sushi grade quality.
Couldn’t even get a wait staff to take away the used plates or bring more soda they may as well not even existed other than to bring our bill after lunch.
At $ 14.00 PER PERSON you can get so much better at almost any other buffet around, no need to go here..
