Del Taco

My girlfriend and I were just here about 2 hours ago to pick up something quick to eat. We each ordered grilled chicken tacos and I got a combo so we could share my fries. The drive-​thru was taking a while, but it’s Friday night so I kind of expected it. We got our food and when home to eat it. After eating our tacos, my girlfriend started to eat my fries. I heard her scream and say «something is in the bag». I expected to see a spider, bug, hair, etc. (which probably wouldn’t have been from Del taco anyway) but it was a fried piece of shrimp! Normally, it wouldn’t be a big deal if I were eating them, but my girlfriend is deathly allergic to shellfish and she was eating from the bag of fries! She seems okay for now, but please be more careful with this kind of stuff!

I normally go here for breakfast and the drive-​thru person was just the rudest person, didn’t even let me finish my order and I went to pay, I told he that he didn’t let me finish my order, he tells me that I was taking too long and that there are other customers. First of all there was no one behind me went ordering

I used to come here for their breakfast. It was fast and cheap and the food was good. The tacos al carbon (I believe that’s what they’re called) are really cheap and good. They’re only a dollar a piece.

Sitting … Waiting… Drive thru… Taking… forever
First time here, maybe just tonight but we have been sitting here about 10 mins and nothing, we have half our items and they haven’t even come out to let us know what is going on.

Probably the slowest drive thru I’ve ever been to. Currently have been waiting in like for 29 minutes. Very slow, won’t return to this location.

So I’m a Del Taco Junkie– this is reinforced by my $ 100 purchase of del taco gift cards on cyber Monday. This particular location is better about having fresher chicken than I’ve had at other Dels.
What strikes me about this location is that it’s always the same drive thru gal that sends me away with «God Bless» every time. Is it appropriate? I guess. I was raised Christian but I’m sure many of Del’s frequent customers were not. She’s nice tho.
My one negative comment is that the location looks quite run down, especially from the outside. The thought of a crumbling building isn’t as inviting as one would think. Makes you wonder about the condition of their kitchen equipment… This is one of the main reasons I always get my food to go– out of sight out of mind (:

As fast food goes they are one of the better del taco’s they keep the place clean and the food is at the quality its ment to be

So disappointed, this del taco always gives me headaches, I don’t know why I returned but today will be my last time. They either mess up my order, give me food that had been there made and soggy or simple only give me very small portions… Never again buying anything at this location again,!!!

I’ve been to this Del Taco location many times and almost every time something is forgotten, wrong, or horrible service. One employee in particular, Matt, seems to be a common denominator. Tonight I was reminded of his bad service when I pulled up up the window and he rudely put his finger in my face suggesting I wait for him to be ready. Other times I have had items missing, charged for items I didn’t order, and just given terrible service. I like Del Taco and that’s why I continue to give this place a chance, but it sucks.

We just moved in down the block and have been to this one about 6 times. Every single time they forget things, get it wrong, and skimp on ingredients. This last time, we didn’t even get meat on a taco (see pic) and they left off an order of fries. We walk to and from to get the food so too much of a hassle to go back… I guess everytime we will have to unpack and examine the order carefully before leaving. Shouldn’t be do difficult.

They always get my order right, and they always have a smile. I haven’t had bad service, ever. Everything is always done fast, even when there’s a line. I love the fact you can look at the screen at the drive-​through to see if your order is correct.

My favorite del taco to eat at, service is fine. The only thing that needs to be addressed is the near flat co2 gas from the soft drinks is set on very low, almost seems like u are drinking a soda that has been left open over night, @ $ 2. And change, this co2 problem/​issue should not be happening. Don’t want to change where I eat my daily tacos from, FIX IT;) thank u in advance.

I love me some Del Taco! Very excited to see one coming home from our trip from Disneyland. Can’t beat a fish taco on Tuesday :-) this one is easy to locate right off of the freeway but I’m going to give it a four star tonight because the dining area was very dirty. There was pop spilled on the floor and all of the tables were dirty– yes ALL!
2 employees were in the dining area, eating. One was giving an interview but no one was cleaning! But… They were friendly and accommodating and The food was delicious.
Be Sure to get fish tacos and an order of nachos. If you’re feeling frisky get the salsa Verde with the jalapenos.

If you’re like me, and need 6 hot sauce packets for each taco, do not come late at night.
They only have whatever they have left from the day, and won’t receive more until the guy comes in the morning.
I had to eat my tacos bland :(
On the other hand, if you come during the day, the sauces are there for the taking!!!
How dare they try to stifle my need for fire.
Food was probably still good though, I’m just biased bc nothing tastes good without hot sauce.

Del Taco may be open 24 hours, but during those «off» hours expect the food to be absolutely terrible.
Cold tacos and stale fries are the only things given here past midnight. People are in the kitchen… but no ones cooking anything. I wouldn’t be surprised if they recycled food from other peoples plates that haven’t been eaten yet. Don’t waste your money on this place.

Giving this rating for the experience alone. After sitting in a very long drive thru line I finally get to the order menu and was greeted with the funniest quick witted server. It was a «had to be there» kind of moment where I would hear the chuckles from the cars ahead of me only to find myself laughing out loud when my turn came to order. Then upon getting to the window to pay I see that everyone working there was having a good time of it.
It certainly made my dollar menu burrito taste a whole lot better :-)

Yummy taco carbons here. Special chicken taco pricing on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Came here for Thursdays 3 taco special for only $ 2.09! Great service here and descent sizes portions. Also you get a discount on your receipt whenever you order if you complete their survey. –and yes, the discount applies to their specials! :)
came here a second time with my dog and they even brought my food out to me.

The shrimp tacos aren’t as good as I remember them. It will be a beef burrito next time. The French fries are always good here. Place could use a remodel. 2 stars
