I went here on a Sunday Funday and was very disappointed. I asked for a simple Coors light with a splash of cider off the tap. I had 3 of these and it was 30 $. That’s Hollywood pricing for a wanna be Irish bar. So when I closed out I said really 10 dollars a Coors Light. She said If you can’t afford then don’t come here. Nice… not a Irish Bar but an overpriced sports bar with crummy service.

Decent scene on weekends with a live dj. People actually dance here which is great to know given that its in Tustin but close to Irvine. Its similar to other irish pubs. same dark décor and interior, similar beers on tap. you know what you are getting with this place

Not gay friendly. As a mater of fact, you’ll get called every vulgarity in the book by the DJ and staff here if they have a suspicion of your sexuality. Not cool.

Fish and chips are really good! Come during St. Patricks day, it gets fully packed but they have cool bands playing.

Kinda pricey for my college wallet and I but it’s a great place to be but if you’re a New England Patriot, then this pub is the place to be on Sundays. This is the Orange County Patriots meeting place for all Patriot games.

It’s pretty average. Not bad. Not mind blowing. It is a good place to catch a game and beer though. I ordered the cheese steak and it was good. Walked by later in the evening around 10 and the place was packed so now I know. Not so much a dinner place but rather a get together place.

This place is great for hanging out after work for a cold beer and a good chat with friends. Lots of TV’S everywhere so your probably going to see your favorite team somewhere on the wall. The waitresses are nice and they hustle like no tomorrow. I’d give a 5 star but I usually reserve that for the wow factor.. Good menu items for happy hour with a range of pub food. Every type of beer so you beer lovers will be happy..

First time here and I came to watch the Pats game. Given that it’s playoffs, I’d figure showing up half hour before game would be okay for getting a good spot. Well, that’s a negative. I got the last of the two tables outside. Two of the three tv’s were working. It is pricey here. I should have eaten beforehand, like 5 Guys around the corner. I ordered several beers and corned beef and cabbage. Let’s just say I wouldn’t order again. I’d go back but only for the cool atmosphere and not the food.

Came here for football Sunday and will never return. My girlfriend brought her 3 pound chihuahua service dog and was immediately chastised and told to leave by two employees before we even sat down. Upon finding a seat in the corner and away from the other patrons one of the same employees came over and began to harass us even further stating that it is against code for my girlfriend to have her dog on her lap and demanding her to present paperwork for the dog !! Are u kidding me !! Like it’s reasonable to have a small teacup dog on the floor and not on your lap ?? And further more embarrassing us in front of the other customers !! Aside from the animal issue the nachos were horrible, made with cold cheese sauce and rubbery canned chicken. Not to mention completely over priced at $ 12.

It’s your average everyday sports bar. They have plenty of tvs and tables, so it’s the ideal place to watch the game with lots of people. They have a pretty big menu so something is bound to satisfy your appetite. Happy hour is until 7pm on weekdays; it’s alright since beer is still $ 6 – 7 but they do have lots of options on tap. I ordered the spinach dip for me and my friends… a bit watery but good to share. It was a bit pricy at $ 10… There’s outside seating as well and smoking is definitely allowed. They even allow dogs inside! Service is pretty good here, better than I thought it would be. Solid option for drinks and to watch the game.

This was our second time coming here for the Patriots game on Sundays. We sit in the large room that is dedicated to Pats fans only. It is such a neat place to gather and watch the game with other die hard Patriots fans. Everyone in the room is always screaming and chanting. There is a sense of family with everyone that is in that room for those 3 hours. They also have their main bar area, which is large, where they show all the other games going on. The food here is a little pricey but very delicious. They also have a wide variety of beers and liquor, blue moon is my fav! The only down fall is that the service is a bit slow, but I understand it is due so there being so many people there. If you go in expecting to wait a while on food and drinks you will not be disappointed. We order our food immediately when we get there and we order our drinks when we are about half way done with the ones we have. Our system works great! Lol This past Sunday everyone in the Pats room got free shots courtesy of the bartenders. I find it awesome that they made that many shots for free, that never happens anywhere you go! So it was definitely appreciated. We will be definitely be coming here for all the Patriot games!

The waiting staff and bartenders were completely rude. They used this snarky sarcasm to my friend while he was making an order and it made me very angry and upset. He doesn’t get out much and this was supposed to be a fun experience for him but this was just jaw dropping. Jamie the«General Manger» talk about a class act. Five minutes into the bar and he starts giving my buddy a hard time. Jamie had a little friend near the bar where he could roll his eyes over to every three to five seconds. Jamie was cruel, unprofessional and just God awful. Grow up. The place wasn’t even busy and you were acting like the poster child for douchebags. Your higher-up might look away on this one because you guys are close bro’s or whatever, but learn to respect others even if you’re having a bad day. It’s a damn bar. People drink. And by the way Attitude reflects leadership and since you were the one«managing» that night two of your patio servers carried those negatives vibes out into their shift as well. Great work!!! — I was being sarcastic Minus 5 stars

The Auld Dubliner is your best bet for a sports bar in Northeast Irvine. I will start with the obvious: The Auld Dubliner is located in The District Tustin Legacy which is to say expect the worst parking situation and the most confused layout on planet earth. You can ease your pain a bit by parking across the street at Target but come expecting frustration behind the wheel. Once you actually get inside thing get better fast thanks to ice cold beer. The interior is a run of the mill contrived Irish«pub» that in no way will convince you that you are not in a large suburban mall. The service? Iffy, the bartenders are on their own time, not yours. The crowd? Yuppie with a smattering of douchebags on the weekends and largely a corporate affair during the work week which is great because this could have easily ended up another OC «bro» bar. Men to woman ratio is 10:1. The food… don’t even think about it. Parking aside, The Auld Dubliner is a perfectly acceptable sports bar for the area and thanks to being the only one in a 5 mile radius, your only option.

I went in for an early dinner on a weeknight so it wasn’t busy yet. That being said, I was the only customer so the service was fantastic. The server, bartender and I were chatting while they were working. They were very nice, hospitable people. The place seemed quaint and very welcoming. I ordered a shepherd’s pie and I thought it was fairly tasty. Overall it was a very pleasant experience; I would definitely go back. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good solid pub!

Andrew and Ann are amazing. We were supposed to have our 40 person happy hour event close by, but I went the week before to the other venue and had a bad experience. So with only days notice, we reached out to Andrew with a last minute attempt trying to find a home for our group. After work on a Friday night, nearly impossible. He said he would make it happen. He reserved a section for us(and it was the last section available, the pace was getting packed). Ann was assigned to work out section. Now, it’s a pain in the butt to run one tab for 40 people and then try and split it up later. But it’s also a pain for the staff to keep 40 different tabs open. But Ann killed it!!! Not only did she kill it, she looked at each persons credit card when they opened tabs with her, but she looked at the card, and asked if it was ok to call them by that name. If they have a nickname a shorter name, she wrote it down and called them by that name. Her service was amazing. She was always there when you needed to order something, and everything came out quick. Thank you Andrew and Ann!!!

This restaurant is in «The District» a huge shopping area with numerous restaurants. I enjoy good Irish fare so we stopped here. The food was great. I had a Shepard Pie. It was huge, and I ate more than I should have ;-) It was cooked just right. My friend had the corned beef and cabbage and it was plentiful. My one reason for the average rating was the condition of the restaurant. It was dimly lit and you got an overall feeling of it being unclean. The floor was in need of a deep clean and when we sat down the tabletop was sticky and dirty kind of like a theater floor. I actually wiped the table with a little elbow grease and was amazed at what came off. Obviously the tables are only given a cursory bleach rag wipe. It’s too bad about the condition of this place because I loved the food. Trust me, I am not a neat freak or OCD, I love local haunts but like them better when they aren’t filthy.

Tried the beef Boxty which was good but on the salty side. On another occasion came for cider with 5 or 6 friends and was pleasantly surprised when an Irish jig broke up the monotony of 80s top 20. We got up and danced some Irish dancing and had a grand time for those 4 or 5 minutes. We hope to hear more Irish music if we come again since this is an Irish pub! Ample seating and parking.

Yes it’s dark, noisy and not super clean… But uh, it’s an Irish pub. You go to kick back and get drunk. It’s not supposed to be some posh lounge… I’ve been here a handful of times and I really like it. Friendly bartenders and servers, good selection of liquor and they put up with my drunk shenanigans! They have comedians, djs, happy hour etc so the place always has something going on. Drinks are reasonably priced and heard food is decent. Great place to unwind!

I’ve been here many times for different sporting events. Cool place to come grab a drink and located in a cool little plaza known as the district. I recently stopped in on a Tuesday, apparently there used to be a taco person there, but not anymore. We decided to stay anyway. There was karaōke going on at the time, but not an overwhelming amount of participants. It wasn’t too crowded. This time I ordered the wings, which were good. The blue cheese dressing that came with it was decent. I also had the spicy balls which I usually order and love, but they are a hit or miss depending on how cooked they are. Sometimes they can be way too hard, I like when you can bite right through those balls! Lol I had the corned beef tacos which were better than my original experience, and were pretty delicious! Corned beef is a salty type of meat so if you like pastrami, you will probably love this dish. This menu is not as extensive as the long beach location, but has the basics. Service is fine. Cool place to come and hang, oh and they also have an outdoor patio.
