I don’t usually like reviewing retail stores, but Jake was awesome! Even on the day after he injured his arm, he was able to offer me the best customer service a sales rep can offer. He was cheerful, positive and helpful I was looking at some shirts and tanktops and he informed me about their sale. One of the items were already marked down, and on top of that there was a buy one get one half off deal. What a good deal! I had some difficulty picking between some shirts, but he helped me pick the one with the best material: 50% cotton 50% polyester. Nice tip :) I guess the color on those shirts are more durable through wash cycles. I also got a reusable bag where proceeds went to breast cancer :) All of that and I think I paid about $ 25 for a reusable bag, a tanktop and a tshirt! Shopping at its’ finest! I know this is conceited, but I like Vans gear since my name is Van… I will definitely continue my patronage at this Vans location. Hopefully Jake’s arm will be better if I ever run into him again :)

Chelsea was amazing! Right when I walked in she knew what I was looking for and what size I needed. I walked out with three new pairs of VANS and some socks to go with. Over all wonderful experience. I highly recommend going to this location when looking o buy a pair of VANS. Can’t wait to come back for more shoes in the near future!

Bought a pair of shoes on sale here. The employees are nice and very patient but very slow. One guy brought out the wrong pair for my husband. When you want another size or shoe, sometimes it takes forever because one person always has to be out on the floor before another can go back and grab what you want. For security purposes maybe? I dunno but it takes forever to try on shoes as a result.

Chelsea was absolutely terrific dealing with my children, who couldn’t decide which shoes to try on our which sizes worked best. Thank you!

The staff at this store is AMAZING! We were greeted right way. The guy who was on the floor offered to help me within minutes of browsing. He brought out the 2 pairs I requested and a 3rd pair that, based on my selections, he thought I would like. Well, he hit the nail on the head… I liked them! The girl behind the counter approached us and offered us the promotion they are having in April(get $ 20 if you spend $ 50 today). I’m coming back to get the 3rd pair that the guys recommended. They were not pushy, just really helpful! Plus, I’m not sure if they were having a sale but the shoes were really low priced at this store.

This is strictly about customer service! I walked in one sunday morning @ around 10:45am & was the ONLY customer in the store. I was not greeted & waited 15 minutes with no help from either girl who was working there. And believe me I know the routine, you browse around for a minute or 2& then someone comes by and SHOULD say, «Can I help you find anything in particular or are you just looking around»?? If you like something, you try it on, walk around, smile, say, «I’ll take these» They ring you up You pay Transaction complete You walk out They say, «Thanks, goodbye, come again»! It’s a 10 minute transaction folks… Well for most men it is. One girl when I first walked in was on a personal cell phone call & the other girl was acting as though she was stacking clothes. When I walked out I said sarcastically of course, «Thanks for the help». This is TERRIBLE customer service. If these girls don’t want the job I’m sure Van’s can find other young adults who need the money & job right? I’ve purchased Van’s shoes since 1978& this store by far gave me the worst experience of ANY retail store. The moral of this story, «A customer shouldn’t have to ASK for help… especially if he/she is the only one in the store» Also, not to turn anything into a race thing but kids, don’t assume or try to equate Brown/Black = no money, just browsers, don’t bother White/Asian = tons of money, help them for sure I drove off & bought $ 80 worth of stuff at the El Camino store just 15 minutes later.

Came here looking for some new shoes for the hubs. They have a really huge selection of shoes to select from. The hubs didn’t know which style of shoe he wanted so he tried on a few different pairs. The staff was very helpful and didn’t mind going back frequently to get a different shoe.
