Bought my nephew his first skateboard(complete) at this location and I really wish I remembered the guy’s name who helped out but I can’t! Sorry Guy. Despite my poor memory, that Van’s staffer was awesome! He answered all our questions, was patient when we couldn’t decide and in the end, was very courteous!

Everytime I have come in here I have had a fussy toddler with me who wasn’t in the mood for some new shoes. With that said, the staff here has always been nothing but nice and helpful, whoever designed their customer service philosophy/standards did one heck of a good job. They are always helpful without being pushy and that is so appreciated!

Ah Vans… How I love thee… I love your simple style and your comfort. I love your affordability and great colours. I’m so glad to see a full store of vans– I may of gone a little crazy in there but hey, if the shoe fits! Great service too :-)

I really like this store… I could easily lose some money here, quickly! I stopped in to get a gift card… and decided to try on some shirts(which ran a little small in my opinion)… and looked at the shoes. They didnt have a huge selection, but they definitely had a few pair I wouldnt have minded taking home with me :) The girl working was very friendly, as were the two guys… very helpful!

Helpful associates, good selection and inventory = happy kid. We ended up here because Active doesn’t carry sizes for 11 y/o’s. Is it my imagination or are Vans much more expensive than they used to be? Even the cheapy slip-ons that hang on the racks are $ 47. Maybe they’re trying to keep up with the other brands? We shall see how long these last.

Bought a shirt here, 2 employee women were working. I just felt like they were pushy, they were nice and helped me but I don’t think it was necessary to ask me 3 times in 15 mins if I was finding everything ok. Like it’s a small store and it was a super slow day so yeah.

This review is for the customer service I experienced here this week. Enticed by the Yo Gabba Gabba sign outside, DD insisted we go in to buy some Foofa Vans. They were adorable but no price tag was visible. There were 2 employees and no other customers but they did not approach us. So I asked the girl at the register. She did not come over but told me to look inside the shoe. Another shoe we were interested in didn’t have a tag so I asked again. She sent over the other employee who looked in the shoe to confirm there was no tag and then proceeded to tell me all the shoes are around $ 30 but didn’t go find the price of that shoe. Was he too busy to find a price for me? I’m getting those Foofa shoes, but the Spectrum location will get my business because the service here was terrible.

I haven’t owned a pair of Vans shoes since I was in middle school(back when the black suede ones were the cool). Twenty years later I find myself in Vans because it was time… To get my feet into some Hello Kitty Vans! I walked in, feeling intimidated. I’m not a skateboarder or a kid or a teenager. I am a kid at heart, though. The first thing I noticed on this steamy Saturday was the airconditioning must’ve been on full blast. Extra stars for that! The sales associate was helpful, although I thought she might’ve gone to China to look for my size. She was gone for a long time. Plus, I was the only customer in the store. She finally came back(what? no souvenirs?) empty handed. I was disappointed, but figured there are other locations I could hit up. Still, I think the store is a pretty good size, service was great(they greeted me as soon as I set foot in the door) and the selection is vast.

They have a pretty big store. Quite a lot of shoes and clothes. But it’s usually not busy except when they are having sales. Staff are friendly but since it’s never busy, they’ll pester you until you buy something. I think they need to have more sales and advertisements.

five stars for the shoes [more specifically the classic slip-ons] however, i’m deducting one star for the service. this place is pretty small and even with two employees working, it takes forever to try a pair on and then get through the line at the register. it might just be like that on the weekends though. + comfortable, stylish, inexpensive shoes + convenient location — need more workers on the weekend
