Definitely won’t be back. Our food came out cold, it wasn’t even good and service wasn’t very good either. I have no idea why this place is packed, there are so many better options in town.

Went there tonight, and the food was good. Had an excellent waiter named Jordan. I highly recommend him and suggest asking to sit in his section. He’s very attentive. Even remembered what I had the last time he waited on me, and that was two months ago!

Food was good. Ribs, spasagna etx. Service very suspect. Never saw our server after food was brought out, until we were done and ready to leave. No drink refills. Took forever to get too go box and nothing provided to clean off hands after eating ribs. I will try again but if service doesn’t improve I will not go back.

Horrible service, cold food, drinks never refilled and a manager with a bad attitude. I’ve tried four time with the same results. There won’t be a 5th time.

Food was very good and servers were attentive. Not noisy at all and the booth was really comfortable. My husband and I both had fish entrees that were delicious!!!

I’ve eaten here several times over the years and like most busy restaurants, they have their good days and bad days. Usually, it’s what you expect and if you can catch them non prime time, you can get in pretty quickly but if you try a Saturday night or Sunday after church, you might as well move along because it will take forever to get a table. Three stars is a fair rating.

Went there with a party of six, took a while to be seated, but once we were the service was solid and very friendly. My meal, a club sandwich, was subpar with litle taste and very thin sliced, grocery store quality(at the best) meat and cheese that tasted like it had been sitting out for a while and was actually limp. Everyone else was satisfied with their meals. And you can’t beat their prices. I will return, but will have something besides a sandwich.

This place continues to be the greatest value for your money. Always great service. If you want an inexpensive night out to eat then this is it.

I normally love my usual Dijon Chicken and Mushroom plate. But today(Sunday) the plate was room temp. They were out of mashed potatoes, forgot my straw, forgot napkins, lots of trash under the tables… Later they were out of regular to go boxes, only the tiny ones… So whoever is the manager should make sure they order things before they are out, who ever the cooks are should make sure food is hot… I doubt our food was made fresh because it came out really fast. I am from Houston, and all the cheddars I have been to there are clean and 4 star worthy, this place gets two because it’s cheap and good, just wish it was up to par like what I am used to.

Coming from L. A I was surprised at how cheap the plates were. Came on a Sunday for dinner and was seated right away. My husband ordered the full rack of ribs($ 15)., tender and delicious. And I ordered the smokehouse burger(about $ 6) which I loved! I also ordered a loaded potato on the side($ 2extra that I thought would actually be LOADED., but it was just sour cream and cheese –_– ehh) Oh and a kids meal for our son., BBQ Grilled chicken on a bed of rice with fries. Pretty tasty. All in all we enjoyed our meal., will definitely come back

Cheddar’s is pretty much the same wherever you go. Decent food, decent service, reasonable prices. This location is always busy but if you don’t want to wait for a table you can grab a spot in the bar. They have really light and crispy chicken tenders and the best onion rings ever! Huge, fresh salads that are served with light, honey-drizzled croissants. The Shepherd’s Pie I got last time was barely warm enough, but the flavor was savory and rich and definitely delivered a dose of satisfaction in the«comfort food» category! And you have to try the Monte Cristo! It’s a triple decker ham and cheese concoction that is dipped in batter and fried! Then they sprinkle on some powdered sugar and serve it up with a side of raspberry jam. I know it sounds weird, but it’s actually sinfully good! They have okay burgers but the chicken fried steak is better at Chili’s or Cotton Patch. Still, in a town with an obvious love of chain restaurants, it is a consistently good place for lunch. I noted another Unilocaler’s comment about the noise level and completely agree. For whatever reason, sound carries in this place and between the chatter of voices and the too-loud music, conversation at meal time can be bit strained.

Slow service today. 7ppl 1hr to get seated, 35min so far waiting on food. But we got free chips and queso so that makes it good right…

On a Saturday night we had to wait 30 min. for four people but I guess that’s decent for Tyler. We were surprised to get a really good rib-eye steak and it was cooked perfectly. Our waiter was quick and friendly so overall it was worth the wait!

Delicious food, nice atmosphere, fantastic service, VERY reasonable prices! We went to Cheddars with a group of 14. The service was impeccable and everyone said their plates were wonderful. I was floored by how inexpensive our bill was for such great quality food and ambiance. For two entrees, an appetizer, and three drinks(including gratuity) our bill was $ 37!!! They have a good variety of food choices, classy drinks for cheap, and upscale décor. I’m a BIGFAN! I would absolutely go back to Cheddars in a heartbeat and highly recommend it.

This was quite possibly the worst service I’ve ever had. We waited 20 minutes after being seated before our waitress could drag herself away from where she was chatting with other servers(who had their own table and were eating) and take our drink/food order. Food took another 30 minutes to arrive and it was lukewarm. Instead of refilling our tea and water from pitchers, she brought out glasses of room temperature beverages with no ice. We waited 15 minutes after she brought us the bill for her to come run our cards. Meanwhile, we watched her chat with other wait staff and hang out at the table across from us where other servers had congregated. While we were there, an older couple was also seated in her section, but after waiting 15 minutes, they left without her ever having seen them. And it wasn’t as if the restaurant was that busy – we arrived at 1430, so well after the lunch rush. When we complained to the hostess on the way out, she just shrugged and when we asked for the manager’s contact info, she didn’t offer it or even offer to go find him. I don’t think we’ll be visiting again for a long, long time…

We gave Cheddar’s a second try 2 years after a bad experience with a waitress. This time, we were asked if we wanted a booth or table. Booth, «Well, the only booth they have is half booth, half chairs». Let’s see it then. It was unacceptable, but the waitress said there were no other booths available as there was no wait staff for anywhere else in the restaurant. OK then, we ordered our drinks, and before the waitress had walked 10′, 2 people(just like us) were setted at a booth behind us. So, we decided to leave, but wanted to complain to a manager first. I really don’t understand her explanation that there wasn’t wait staff for that table as they had put people there. The waitress was very nice and said she would seat us at a booth, but we didn’t trust they wouldn’t spit in our food or something after we complained, so we left, never to return.

I have not eaten at this location in a long time. I generally like cheddar’s as a chain place, however the visit was less than desirable. We went for a late lunch at 1pm and it was about 2⁄3 full. We were seated and our wait person came to get our drink order. There were 6 drinks and he got the order correct. It started well, except when he delivered the drinks he spills my son’s in his lap. Luckily my 7 year old is nimble of foot(or butt in this case) and did not become soaked. The waiter apologized and went to get another one. Normally I would say well done, except he did not give us napkins or silverware to begin with so we had nothing to clean with. We had to wait for him to come back for a towel or napkin. After we cleaned my son, we waited, and waited, and waited. The waiter finally came back and took our food order. We stumped him by asking for chips and salsa first, as an appetizer. He stated most people order an appetizer either with their drinks or as a meal. He hadn’t had anyone order an appetizer with their lunch order and not want it as a meal. That took him a while to compute before he moved on. At this time we all needed refills that we had to ask about. So instead of refilling, he brought us a new glass. Which is fine, except he never took the extra empty glasses. We had to ask a passing busboy to take them. When they brought our food, everybody’s showed except the kid with Dr Pepper in his lap. I had to flag down the waiter to see where his food could have been. He went to check and found it. It apparently was separate in the window and wasn’t picked up by the runner. Luckily chicken strips stay for a while. At this time I had to ask for the manager. She was very polite and talked to us for a while. She was willing to give us a free dessert. She took our order, which was a cookie, ice cream thing with fudge and whip cream. The same kid was going to get it since he had such a crappy experience. He asked for«no whip cream». Guess what came on his dessert? Correct again, whip cream. I told the same waiter who has screwed everything up and he threw the manager under the bus. We got to keep the messed up one and my son got his after we had finished the first one. I gave 2 stars due to the fact that most cheddar’s are pretty good as far as chains go, however stay away from the Tyler location.

I used to eat here all the time, but I came here once and there was a pesky problem crawling on the booth(if you know what I mean) and so I was assured that the problem would be taken care of… so I didn’t go back for a long time. Then I decided to give it another try because hey, that could happen to any place right? well this time there was a lot of new staff and we were not served well. They brought the order wrong, never filled our drinks, and then when we brought this to attention they just blamed eachother instead of just fixing it. I might go back if I start to crave my rasberry tea and spinach dip, but won’t be for the service.

This place was awesome! It has a great vibe an the waiters are very friendly. The food was deliciously prepared and tasted excellent. I would HIGHLY recommend the Caesar salad, best I’ve ever had. The Monte Cristo sandwich is also a great choice to try. The service was fast and friendly. Not to mention the prices are very reasonable for the amount of food and quality of food. Great place, a must try!
