Jucys recently switched from a small cut on their fries to a larger cut. Im at the restaurant twice weekly and this is my only complaint. Please go back to the smaller cut or at least offer both

The burgers are excellent. Onion rings are good but tator tots are best! We love this place

From 1st to worst! I have always said Jucy’s was the only place to get a great old fashioned burger and fries. The last two times I have been there, the burger was still great, but the fries were terrible. They have changed the fries, which were the best around, to a thicker cut which I really don’t care for in the best of circumstances, but, to add insult to injury, they were not cooked fully, were greasy, soggy and basically inedible! I’m amazed that they would even serve them. I won’t be back! Hopefully, the Jucy’s on 5th street has not made the same mistake.

The burgers are decent. My boyfriend thought his was too greasy, but my family prefers their chicken. Staff can be a little rude. Appetizers are good.

Burgers are great. Husband had the 11 $ one! The French fries were mushy. If we eat there again I’d rather try the onion rings. No kids menu. Everything is Ala Carte except for the baskets.

My family has always been a huge fan of Jucy’s from the time they only served roast beef on their tiny bar area in the location on Front Street. On our first trip back to Tyler after living in WA State for the past several years we were ready to get our spicy beans and chicken fried steak. The steak, fries, gravy and toast were great as always. Hubby enjoyed his Hamburger Steak with onions, fries, salad and toast. It’s awesome they have the fountain Coke machine that has the touchscreen on it and allows you to mix together endless combinations of whatever drink you can ever come up with. I have to admit though the beans were a disappointment during this visit because they lacked their normal spiciness and kick. I’m not sure if this was just an under seasoned batch or if they did something crazy like the change recipe because that would be an awful shame. We will definitely be back to try them again because we love the chicken fried steak and service they always offer their customers. I think next time we may try the Front Street location and see if the beans they are famous for around Tyler are back to «normal». I’ll update after we’ve had a chance to try both locations eventually.

I’m visiting my friend here in Tyler and she heard people talk about Jucy’s as a good burger joint. I was pretty excited about it but unfortunately had too high of expectations. We both got ¼ lb Jr cheeseburgers, she got hers with swiss and mushrooms no condiments, mine had cheddar, grilled onions and mushrooms, lettuce tom ketch must mayo. We were both not impressed. The meat just wasn’t flavorful, cooked fine, not dry but was quite greasy which is not necessarily a bad thing when all the flavors blend together but the veggies just felt separated and mostly fell out as I ate the burger. The fries were shoestring and really nothing special then again I prefer my fries thicker(a la Fiveguys), but those who like shoestring would enjoy these. They were crispy on the outside, but still soft on inside. My friend got fried green tomatoes and really liked them, I had one and found them too peppery but the batter had a nice crunch. Overall we both wouldn’t come back here, it was just nothing special.

We have become Jucy fans! The hamburgers are delicious and the onion rings and fried green tomatoes are to die for. While your order is being filled there is a pot of serve-your-self beans that are really good. Our grandchildren love the drink machines that make every drink that you can imagine(except alcoholic drinks). They think they are mixologists and enjoy different drink combos!

Pretty good burger for a «fast» food joint. I’d say they are pretty pricey but worth it for a legit slab of beef and freshly cooked, hence why it’s longer than your typical fast food. Shakes are good, onion rings are good, burgers are good & fries are good(most of the time).

Honestly, my favorite burger joint in Tyler. If there is a better burger in Tyler, I haven’t found it. Jucy’s burgers aren’t priced too high. Free beans on the inside and even free fries if you have a college id. Customer service is surprisingly refreshing. I’ve had an employee give me $ 2 because I was short on a meal. The manager is a real decent guy as well. He actually comped me a meal once because I’m a regular. Never had that happen before. Overall a quality spot for a decent burger, served quickly, at a fair price. Don’t regret a single penny spent there.

What’s not to like? Big buns, swift service,(although the spelling of the name is weird) AND meatless options in a fast food setting. We had a chicken sandwich and veggie burger which were huge and featured fresh ingredients like avocado. Do yourself a favor and get the fries! They are fresh cut and amahzing! They manage to avoid the sogginess typical of fresh fries and produce hot, crisp frites that can rival those at any of the«fancy pants» burger joints in Dallas. Good stuff!

This is totally one of the best local Tyler restaurants. You really can’t go wrong ordering anything on the menu. The stuff is a bit greasy, but what the heck do you expect from a burger joint? You looking for something local and delicious? This is a great choice.

Well it is very difficult to find a good burger place anywhere. Last good one I had been to was in New Jersey. Now simply put a good burger is based off its chef. If the guy in the back cannot cook to order the burger loses all essence of quality. Sadly I asked for medium rare and had received burnt hockey puck. With that said the the presentation of the burger was okay. Nothing fancy or to clamor on about. But what was a shame was how difficult if was to handle. After cutting the burger in half the burger had fallen apart completely and been impossible to handle without being extremely messy. And since the burger was heavily over cooked the burger had crumbled apart making it a poor excuse for a burger. Sadly Jucy isn’t for me. Happy food hunting.

I was in Tyler for work, and gotta say, driving into Tyler from Dallas and passing strip mall after strip mall had me worried about dining options. Then someone at the office picked up a bunch of burgers from Jucy’s for lunch. These burgers would be perfect for a weekend brunch or lunch when you’re nursing a hangover — big, juicy, the right amount of grease, nice soft buns and fresh toppings. Unfortunately was in Tyler on business and was not able to experience these delicious burgers as a hangover helper. Bonus — some of the best onion rings I’ve ever had, even after they got cold.
