«Dive» right in to this diamond in the rough. Great breakfast and the best Migas I have found in Tyler. It’s become my Tuesday morning haunt. I have not had a chance to try the menudo yet but it looks good at the table next to me. I had a pancake today that was also very good. They even have beer

Must order the queso! This reminded me of my childhood when we would stop at Panchos and they’d bring this thin yellow yummy cheese dip… Add some of the best stewed chicken tacos and a large amount of coke and we are all good! Even the kids asked for more. They do have a kids menu but mine like the real deal Mexican food experience. Truly worth getting off the beaten path for!

Their Mojarra a la Diabla is super tasty. Meat for tacos is average.

This place has slacked on their food or maybe I caught the cook on a bad day because usually it’s awesome! I drove 15min across town to eat here and was very disappointed Queso was cold and watery. beans were VERY salty the chips were stale and cold. 30 bucks gone down the drain

Yummy. If you are craving Mexican breakfast, try the chilaquiles or the huevosmexicanos. Cheap and delicious. For the love of God, if you want a taco or bean and cheese burrito made from scratch with actual food items, skip Taco Bell and Taco Bueno. Two bean and cheese tacos here cost $ 2.10. You get a homeade, toasted warm tortilla, delicious refried beans, white cheese(real Mexican food includes no yellow cheese), and a side of homeade(that day probably) salsa. Educate your palate and keep local money local.

I watched with a wary eye as this restaurant opened a second location on the East Loop at the intersection with the Old Henderson Hwy.(801SSE Loop 323) They are occupying a restaurant space which is joined with a convenience store/truck stop. Considering the number of failed restaurants which I have seen come and go in this location; strike 1. While filling the Momobile with gas one day I decided to walk over and pick up a menu just to see what was being offered. It turns out that was one of the best decisions I have made in a while! Let me sum it up like this: Menu offerings: Outstanding, I stopped counting at 80! Service: Outstanding Food: Outstanding Price: Great Value Chance of me returning: Absolutely! I ordered about 5 different items from the menu, everything from appetizers to seafood and it was all delicious+! The portions were most generous and the flavors were amazing. Their seasoned beef on the nachos was some of the best I’ve tasted, perfectly seasoned. The fajita bowl had perfectly cooked onions and green pepper — don’t you hate it when they are undercooked with your fajitas? The fajita meats, chicken and beef were every bit as good if not better than the really popular flashy Mexican restaurant on SW Loop 323. They are also installing a drive thru window which is a critical asset to overly busy working moms, though the restaurant is open for business now. I had full view of the kitchen in this one and it was spotless as was the dining area. I have no reservations about eating there or picking up an order to go. I also did not experience any language barriers. I am in no way related to the owner or individuals who operate this restaurant. I only hope that Tylerites take advantage of their new more centrally located restaurant. If you don’t you are missing out on one of the best values and great food offerings in a city with many choices.

The staff doesn’t speak English. Food 100% authentic. Doesn’t get much better than that.

A true taste of Mexico. In a state that loves Tex Mex it’s a great change in taste to get some real Mexican food. The atmosphere, while plain, is very much like any good restaurant in Mexico. Their chicken chimichanga is amazing and their green enchiladas a real tongue pleaser.

The food here is really good, but there’s no atmosphere. The wait staff spoke very little English. It’s just café style and very plain. However, I liked the food, and of course they had lots of hot peppers available!
