Everything real good here except… there are no accessible elec outlets. Nothing bedside. Ones I find are down low, in front of bed. So I pulled the bed out away from wall and had some access. Hay Magnuson Grand Hotel, it is 2015 and ‘everyone has elec charging needs… everyone. Get in the game.’ Internet and tv is good. Heater/ac unit control knob needs adjustment badly. Iron and board are good, but again, no place to plug the iron in which is reasonably easy to access. Nice amenities otherwise. Need/want better elec outlet system here. May not stay again because of that alone. All these little things make a good hotel… in my opinion. This would have been a very good choice 25 years ago.

The setting isn’t that great. Everything’s old. I found a centipede in my room! I ended up paying a little over 100 for one night. This was the cheapest I could find in the area(which I was surprised about).

I recently stayed at the Magnuson and was pleasantly surprised! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the hotel tastefully decorated. I really enjoyed the free breakfast, especially the bacon(cooked perfectly) and the waffles. Give those a try. Staying here, you feel like you and your opinions matter!

I just returned home from a business meeting I had at the Magnuson hotel and was eager to write a review on how impressed I was with this hotel. I conduct meeting in hotels all over the U.S. From the moment we arrived the hotel and staff were amazing! The owner and the manager made sure every detail I wanted or needed was at my disposal. I was greeted daily by not only them but the entire hotel staff eager to help me out in any way possible. The breakfast and service was awesome every morning, and the bar at night was a great quiet place that made it easy to relax after a long day of meetings. The rooms were clean and the pillows were awesome! I was so impressed with my overall experience that I have booked 5 more meeting dates with them over the next month! Thanks to all the staff at the Hotel!

The room and grounds were clean. The staff was friendly and receptive. But, this is the noisiest place I have ever stayed. You can hear everything as though there is no noise filter or insulation. It is an older building that was refurbished, and the doors enter from the outside(typically we stay where the doors are inside access but thought we would give this place a try), BUT you would think using more sound proof/resistant doors and windows would be an option. We could hear people walking around everywhere inside, outside, next room over, with talking and carrying on and sounding as if they were IN our room. If you want sleep or privacy do not stay here if there are other guests present… if it is totally vacant, you might get some rest.

This hotel claims to have been refurbished but let me just say– no– it hasn’t been touched. It’s disgusting. The furniture is banged up– drawers are missing– everything is old and looks filthy. The blankets is covered with a white sheet but it’s also old and gross. I’m checking out first thing in am. The smell is nasty and there are no amenities I asked for more hangers as there were only 3. It’s just a gross old motel. I checked for bed bugs. Didn’t see any but it’s still skeevy. Internet doesn’t work. Just a poor excuse for a hotel Hilton– here I come
