I grabbed pizza from here the other night and was pleasantly surprised. The crust was thin but still a little chewy. The sauce was sweet but not overly sweet. If you can get past the rude service, the food is worth a try.

I order here about once a month and the reason for that is their pizza is decent but the subs vary based on who makes them. Last week I ordered a large Sausage sub and he asked me if I wanted cheese and sauce to which I said yes. Picked up my order and received a cold roll not toasted with cold cheese bits on the bottom not melted and sausage on top of that with no sauce. He essentially cut open a roll and threw cold cheese in it and sausage on top and wrapped it. It was so disgusting I couldn’t eat it. I called and told him what he did and he credited me for the sub but I sat eating a can of soup for dinner. When the guy that owned it 15 yrs ago made the food this place was the best in town, since these people bought it, it has gone downhill.

We just moved to the area and decided to give this place a try. I find their sauce a bit too sweet for my liking, but my family seems to like it enough. The Caesar salads are good. Although the first time we ordered the chicken Caesar, the chicken was tough. The second time, the chicken was more on the juicy side. The salads come with a huge hunk of tasty pita bread which is an added bonus. Tonight we tried sandwiches and pasta. My husband enjoyed the Italian sub. I got the baked ziti with eggplant and mushrooms. This was a disappointment. The pasta was tough; like super chewy. I couldn’t tell if was under cooked, or over baked. And their garlic bread isn’t anything special. They forgot to include my side salad as well. I would try it again, but thinking we might want to try some of the other area pizzerias instead.

I thought I would give this place another chance, since it had been months since the last order. one person who ordered food as of late, made a comment on how dirty the back room is. subsequently now has food poisoning.great.not. please review your food handling practices and procedures. I hope you are wearing gloves and washing your hands please so no one else gets sick.

We placed an order for delivery @7pm on Saturday night. The delivery girl arrives @7:20 with the wrong order. It’s now 8pm, and the girl still isn’t back yet. So I call to see what’s going on & the owner tells me they never received my order & I must have called Chelmsford by mistake. Um no, I called Tyngsboro… I verified with her the phone number, I also had my order total & gave a specific description on the delivery girl.(How many places have a blonde delivery girl in a pink jacket driving a black car??) Chelmsford would not have delivered to tyngsboro & also, if I never ordered from there than how/why did their delivery girl come to our house & have our order slip in her hand?! So rather than apologizing for the mix up, the owner blames the customer insisting we never order from there & refused to explain how get delivery driver ended up at our house then. We used to order from them all the time. Never again! And ps– we started this little food journey @7pm…finally got food by 9pm after going to another establishment. Never experienced anything like that before. Ridiculous!

There are a lot of Greek-style pizza places that have bland dough and breadstick-like crust(yuck!) thank god this isn’t one of them! Brickhouse Pizza opened my eyes to some darn good pizza. The pizza here was solid. Good toppings; a perfectly, crispy crust; and nice folks. Check them out!

I can’t say that I enjoyed this pizza. The sauce is too sweet, poorly seasoned and too plentiful. The chicken on my BBQ Chicken pizza was tough – also, most places put BBQ sauce as the sauce on a BBQ Chicken pizza, but Brickhouse uses their too sweet tomato sauce and puts BBQ sauce on the chicken before throwing it on the pie. Every time I’ve gotten pizza here, the crust has been burned on the bottom – why do I keep going back? I don’t know, I guess I am hopeful that good pizza might be found in Tyngsboro. Unfortunately, this latest purchase will be my last. I ordered a large half sausage, half cheese and the crust had the distinct taste of bleach. We all smelled it and the pizza went into the trash. I appreciate that the place may be nice and clean, but I do not like bleach with my pizza. Blecch.

This place has the best pizza around! One of my friends told me about it, and I didn’t listen to him for the longest time. Shame on me! I love the sauce which is on the sweet side. They add lots of toppings, the crust is delicious… it’s one of the best pizza’s I’ve had(see my review of Captain Hook’s in Gloucester). This place and Capt. Hook’s taste almost the same! Now I don’t have to drive an hour to get the flavor since this is much closer! I haven’t tried the subs or dinners, but I’m sure they are just as good. My hubby tried the eggplant sub and loved it. They have ½ size subs which is awesome. The people working here are always so nice too. The only thing I don’t like is the dining room. I wish they would update it and put different chairs/tables in there. They could make it really cozy and comfortable for waiting and/or eating. If you’ve read my other reviews, I have a thing for atmosphere. I could redo this room very inexpensively. A little paint, some prints from the Christmas Tree Shop/TJ Maxx/Home Goods and some window treatments and it would be a really nice dining area. But go for the pizza! Delicious!

This is the best pizza I’ve had in this area. Brickhouse Pizza makes Italian style pizzas and specialty pizzas(12″ &16″), calzones(ricotta is offered for $ 2.50 more), hot & cold subs, salads, chicken, tips, Italian dinners, and Coke beverages from the cooler. Take & bake pizza available. For dessert, they offer a fried dough pizza. They use fine ingredients and the meatballs are homemade. The menu offerings and prices are very similar to the North Chelmsford location: The place itself is a «hole» with a cozy counter/takeout area and a separate dining room to the left which has table seating and a big TV(tube). The menu board above the counter is a bit hard to read, so there are print menus nearby. I ordered a 12″ Hamburg Pizza from Brickhouse Pizza very recently. The pizza was ready in about 10 minutes after ordering. The pizza was delish! The crust was thin and crispy on the bottom loaded with lots of cheese, a slightly sweet tomato sauce, and ground hamburger. I do enjoy the pizza sauce on the sweet side. Excellent pizza!
