Great pizza, a little pricey– problem with this place is it’s just as unreliable as the old Pizza Pizzazz– tried going there twice now and they were closed even though there posted hours show them open… You guys are hopefully having phone problems… Otherwise you just suck…

We used to order from here all the time when it was Pizza Pizzazz. When it changed to Champions we decided to give it a try since it was convenient. We tried it first for their pizza. We liked the pizza, the sauce is a little sweeter than Pizza Pizzazz but it was good. Next we used them to order subs. Again, they were good. My husband did the pick up and I didn’t question the prices. Last night was a girls night get together. We decided to order 3 medium pizzas. While the pizzas were good, they definitely weren’t worth the price we paid. The first pizza ordered was the chicken bacon ranch specialty pizza for $ 12.99. While it was good, the bacon was overpowering and salty and you couldn’t really taste the ranch. Next was a veggie version with onions and mushrooms only. They charge different prices for the toppings. These toppings were $ 1.50 each. Specialty toppings are $ 2.00 each. It doesn’t matter if you are putting them on a 12″ or 16″ pizza, same price. Next was a medium extra cheese. I didn’t know an extra handful of mozzarella would be considered a specialty topping. Yes, they charged and extra $ 2.00 for extra cheese. Total price including tax was $ 38 for 312″ pizzas. Don’t order from here unless you use coupons. They are also the only pizza place around I know that charges for delivery, $ 1.99. We stopped using Mario’s pizza on Middlesex Road, just next door to them because the last few pizzas were burnt. It might be time to give Mario’s another chance.

Just had lunch here using a gift certificate. It was really good. There are only a handful of tables to eat at, so it is definitely more of a take our establishment. Trying to open the door to gain entry is a bit of a puzzle. It has a handle to pull on like you would any other establishment, however, it doesn’t just pull open. You also have to reach down and turn a door knob. We weren’t the only folks puzzled by this as we watched others try to open the door and then proceed to tap on the window. I see good things happening for this place. Give it a whirl!
